Weekly Bike News Wrapup: Meteor 350 Specs And Features Leaked, Triumph Rocket 3 GT Launched, KTM 750cc Models Incoming And More

We’re two weeks into September and it’s been an eventful last seven days in the motorcycling world, with exciting new leaks as well as big bike launches. Here’s everything that went on over the past week:

Meteor 350 Specs And Features Leaked

Our wait for the hallowed Meteor is finally nearing an end, and we know this because an official brochure for the upcoming bike has surfaced. As a result, we’ve learned about the power and torque figures of the new J platform engine, which you can read about here. The brochure has also revealed a pretty exciting features list, the best on any RE bike so far, and you can check it out here.

In the same vein, Royal Enfield has also inaugurated a brand new manufacturing facility in Argentina to produce the Himalayan and the 650 twins, in an attempt to avoid import duties and price them more competitively. The brand joins Hero MotoCorp and Bajaj who have a factory each in Colombia.

Triumph Rocket 3 And Kawi Z900 Launched

With nearly all the small bikes and scooters already dealt with, we’re now seeing almost exclusively big bike launches and BS6 updates. The week that went by brought us the monstrous Triumph Rocket 3 GT, which has taken up the mantle of the costliest Triumph on sale in India. To find out the price, head here. Bajaj Dominars Price Hike

We were wondering when it would happen, and we got the answer on Wednesday, as the Dominar 400 received its now routine monthly price hike. But more worryingly, the little Dominar 250 received its first price hike and it was a significant sum of over Rs 4,000! To find out where the final prices stand for both bikes, read here.

KTM 750cc Models Incoming

A recent presentation by KTM’s parent company Pierer Mobility seems to indicate the company is working on a new 750cc model range which will include a Duke, a supermoto model, and also an all-new Adventure. Hero-Harley Partnership On The Cards?

With Harley-Davidson seemingly unable to pull itself out of the massive sales slump that it has been experiencing worldwide for some years now, it has reportedly turned towards Hero MotoCorp to strike a partnership and attack the Indian market.
