The recommended tyre size for Bajaj Pulsar 220 F is Front:-90/90-17, Rear:-120/80-17. Upsizing the tyres is a possibility but there will be some effects on vehicle performance. If you replace any part with a different spec, you will most probably have to change some other related parts as well. So, if you upsize your tire, there is a chance that it might start brushing the swingarm and that will result in faster wear and tear than the normal rate. In terms of performance, with a wider tire, the performance will also be on the decrease, which can be seen in the fuel economy and the top speed of the bike. Also, the increased contact of the tire with the surface results in increased efforts to handle the bike.

Long term vehicle : Bajaj Pulsar 220 F

Having owned the Bajaj Pulsar 220 F for over three years now, I have really gotten to know the ins and outs of this bike. It is powered by a 220 cc engine with 20 PS power and it really shows its performance on highways with its thrilling acceleration. The styling is aggressive and has a charm that still turns heads.On the downside, the Pulsar 220 F is on the heavier side weighing about 160 kg which makes it a bit cumbersome in urban traffic. The mileage is not impressive either, I get about 35-40 km/l, which is less than ideal for my daily commute.
