    This is the problem even with Honda Activa 5G. Because the Clutch pulley Shaft bearing is isolated with an oil seal and will not come in to contact with Gearbox oil bathing , cooling and Lubrication, which is technically a very big mistake done by Honda in the 5G model. That small bearing which holds the clutch shaft gets heated up and radiates the same to the wheel and tyres. So If you travel for 4 to 5 KM's on this 5G Scooter your rear wheel including tyre getting heated up to 60 to 100 degree. Honda Activa 5G Model is big failure vehicle in this regard. In Hero pleasure, you can see total oil lubrication and bathing of all the Bearings in the Gear Box. Many people think this problem is due to Brake drag, clutch pulley bearing failure or Clutch disc Failure. This is not so.

    @ Prakhar | Dude, I am also facing the same issue but I've gone through few articles which says the heating is a normal thing due to rear wheel absorbing heat from the engine and exhaust.

    Bro I hv also the same problem but the heat generation is too much, even you can't touch the rim after running about 4 5 km.. Will consult with service center.

    I am also facing the same problem. Rear wheel and tyre extremely heats up in 1 hr ride. I fear the tyre may explode in a ride. I think it's heat from engine passes to wheels. Does any other scooter have this problem?
