TVS Star City Plus Latest Updates

The TVS Star City Plus is a slightly more premium 110cc commuter bike from the Hosur-based brand. It was, in fact, the first motorcycle in its segment to be equipped with an all-LED headlight.

TVS Star City Plus Engine

The Star City Plus is powered by a single-cylinder air-cooled, fuel-injected 110cc motor, generating 8.19PS at 7,350rpm and 8.7Nm at 4,500rpm. It works in conjunction with a 4-speed gearbox. The commuter continues with the same underpinnings as before: a telescopic fork and twin shocks. A 130mm drum or a 240mm petal disc brake at the front and a 110mm drum at the rear bring the bike to a halt. Complying with the latest safety norms, the bike gets CBS as standard.

TVS Star City Plus Variants

TVS offers the Star City Plus in two variants: drum and disc. The former retails for Rs 75,890, while the latter costs Rs 79,040 (both prices ex-showroom Delhi).

TVS Star City Plus Design

The TVS Star City Plus looks a little more premium than its sibling, the Radeon. This is thanks to the bikini fairing, all-LED headlamp, chromed-out exhaust heat shield, and a sportier colour scheme. The Pearl Blue colour variant, in particular, gets a blue coloured pillion grab rail whereas it is black in all the other colour versions. All in all, its matured design will appeal to those looking for a premium-looking but affordable commuter bike.

TVS Star City Plus Features

The TVS Star City Plus was the first motorcycle in its segment to get an all-LED headlight. That said, the tail lamp and indicators are bulbs. It also features an analogue dial for the speedometer and a digital inset showing the fuel gauge and odometer readings. Apart from the other tell-tale lamps, it also gets a service indicator, eco, and power mode indicator.

  • TVS star city is better (i am riding it from 2005 and stjill in running condition) other than the options. Shine have some engine issues particularly on cold engine it shut down frequently while in running condition. TVS have better build quality and low maintenance cost.
