Hero Mavrick 440 Scrambler Latest Updates
Hero MotoCorp has trademarked the ‘Mavrick 440 Scrambler’, meaning that a scrambler version of the roadster could soon be incoming.
The upcoming Mavrick 440 Scrambler will most likely get a headlight grille, simpler body panels, bench seat and a braced handlebar as design changes from the roadster it is based on. It should get block-pattern tyres with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheels. The 440cc, single-cylinder seen in the Mavrick 440 will also power the upcoming scrambler. The ground clearance of 175mm is expected to remain the same. And the tuning of the 43mm telescopic fork and 7-step preload-adjustable twin shocks, both with 130mm wheel travel suspension setup is also expected to remain unchanged as well.
Features-wise, it should get the same LED lighting setup and the LCD instrument console with smartphone connectivity seen on the roadster. The upcoming scrambler is expected to be priced around the Rs 2.20 lakh (ex-showroom) mark and will rival the likes of the Triumph Scrambler 400 X, Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, Yezdi Scrambler and the Royal Enfield Scram 411.
