Jawa Perak: Your Questions Answered26 Jan, 2021 | By Team ZigWheels
Recently Asked User Questions
- The Perak is an interesting and more powerful alternative to its Jawa cousins and Royal Enfield Classic 350. It gets a BS6-compliant 334cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder motor that makes 30.64PS and 32.74Nm of torque mated to a six-speed gearbox. Jawa has revised the gear ratios for a better ride experience. On the other hand, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 BS6 is powered by the same 346cc single-cylinder thumper that you also find on the Royal Enfield Classic 350 BS6. Engine outputs have taken a slight hit with the motor now producing 19.3PS at 5250rpm and 28Nm at 4000rpm, 0.71PS lower than before. Now, if you are willing to get your hands on a powerful bobber and do not mind the single seating option, then the Perak makes more sense. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details. Read More: - Jawa Perak vs Royal Enfield Bullet 350
- The Perak is much better than the Bullet in almost every way. The only issue most people have is that the Perak is a single seater. Other than that, the Perak is in a league of it's own.
- Yeah better but can't get a cowl seat fo perak
- 15 aug, 2.3 lac, can’t compare, perak is super stable, no pillion seat
- Both bikes are of different segments and have different characteristics. Keeping the bike for long will totally depend on how it is maintenance and ridden. The Husqvarna Svartpilen 250 looks good, is quick, and rides and handles well. However, the KTM 250 Duke offers the same traits with the added benefits of a spacious rider and pillion seat and a larger fuel tank. If you are less inclined towards practicality but lean more towards design, the Vitpilen 250 looks more eye-catching and is more engaging to ride. So effectively, the Svartpilen 250 is in no man’s land. We feel that KTM/Husqvarna should have capitalised on the Svartpilen’s scrambler appeal. They could raid the KTM parts bin and use the 390 Adventure’s longer travel suspension, larger 19-inch front tyre, serrated footpegs and turn the Svartpilen 250 into a proper scrambler. With these updates, even a price hike of Rs 20,000 would put it at par with the KTM 250 Duke’s pricing, but then you would have a more capable Svartpilen 250 pointing in the right direction -- off-road. As things stand, you have better alternatives to the Svartpilen 250 from its own family and another capable 250cc motorcycles.Owning and riding multiple motorcycles is a luxury that few can afford and even fewer can truly enjoy. If the Himalayan is on your shopping list, it’s quite likely that it’s going to be your only motorcycle. And as an only motorcycle, it’s as close to perfect as you can get in this price range, or even a few rungs higher, for that matter. This really is the Swiss Army Knife of motorcycles i.e. a capable, versatile, one-size-fits-all motorcycle. Need something to ferry you to the office and back? No problem. Want to cruise the highways on weekends? It’ll do it all day and all night long. Finally had your leave approved and want to ride to Ladakh? This is just the bike for the job. It’ll even keep you entertained on the twisty bits of tarmac you’ll find on the way. Short of hooning about on track, this is the one motorcycle that’ll do pretty much any and everything you ask of it, without protest or complaint. The Himalayan BS6 is a slightly more well-rounded and desirable motorcycle than before. You may compare both the bikes accordingly. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Svartpilen 250Great for off roading
It is dual purpose bike that is great in the off road and on road and the seating position is really comfortable. considering its a 250 cc bike the mileage is around 28 to 30 kmpl and is a more adventure touring bike and can go on trip with this bike. If buyers go more on the trips with this bike then it make more sense because the tyre give more grip in the off roader so on road is not enjoyable and the seating is so much comfortable and in the corner it gives great fun.

Svartpilen 250Best Bike
I have a 2022 Svartpilen 250 and have ridden 10k+ km overall the bike is really good, Pickup is decent up to 4000rpm but after around 5000rpm up to 8000rpm the bike pulls like crazy. This is probably one of the most beautiful bikes in the 250cc segment, the engine being similar to the KTM Duke 250, But this just looks better. Some people may find this to be an electric bike due to its unique shape and design, so there are gonna be a lot of people who ask you what bike it is and honestly, it feels good when people ask about your bike :) Stock blinkers are amazing and feel like aftermarket add-ons. The exhaust sound is decent and the radiator fan sounds super loud when turned on. When you have ridden for 15+ mins and stop at a signal, The fan might turn on and will sound louder than the engine itself. Overall I say it is a great bike and of the 2023 model has fixed vibrations, I would gladly recommend this bike to everyone: the best bike in the 250cc segment in a decent pickup but power mostly kicks in after 5000rpm ( feels like a 400cc bike above 6000rpm ) dashing looks attention-grabbing bike cons: very low ground clearance (may hit larger bumps if 2 people are sitting) pillion seat is not very comfortable.

I am riding since the age of 14 and now i am 44, So rajdoot, Rx100, Rd390, Ybx, R15, Rc390, Iron 883 to the latest husqvarna svartpilne i have got my hands dirty on all of them, I mean i have owned them.I am writting this review to help people decide what to take.So i before svartpilne, I thought r15 the 2008 june model was the best that has been ever produced for indian roads its more than 14 yrs old, No work in engine and i still do 500 kms in 7 hrs on it.But to put in simple words, If you want to own a byke.And.Keep it for long go for husqvarna svartpilne 250, you will have to do a lot of gear shifting but if you keep your rpms.Around 5000 you will get a mileage of 35-37.Amazing suspensions, Great comfort on roads.U can easily do 500kms on it.I have already completed 10k kms before writing this.Cheaper spare parts.Amazing build quality. The confidence it gives you on road is unparallel.Simply go for it.U will not regret.

Peraka purchase that is worthwhile
In more than different colours and features, the Jawa Perak is a modern bike for newer generation. It is an amazing bike model with services at one’s feet. It is easy to operate and even easier to operate and drive. With attractive exterior built and comfortable seats, it is quite nicely suited for both the driver and the passenger at the back. The showroom offers a very obvious and well deserving price for this model and according to me its a great investment. The other functionalities are top notch and smooth.

PerakPerak Majesty, Bobber Heritage.
I ride my Jawa Perak for More distant than Clearly a Tour. It's drinking the black ritual sportfisherman and letting Perak loose. This motorcycle isn't exclusively for traveling . It all comes down to carrying it out with the special, upsetting fetish of the Perak series. Everyride demonstrates Jawa's devotion to give a disparate riding experience because of the Perak's eye- catching appearance and important interpretation. It's not Clearly a bike. It reflects a rider's love of ritual sedans and the black, icing that every path is met with the presence and faculty for which the Perak is famed.

I have a Pulsar 220 dts-i 2009 model. Still running like a beast. I am on budget, I couldn't find any other bikes under 3 lakhs which could impress me since pulsar 220 back in 2009. Well, i was impressed with 200 but then, the bookings closed for 200 and 220 had started. So... I took a test drive today and was simply mind blown away with the initial pick up and the power (Totally missing in RE for this age and time). I loved everything riding this Legendary bike to be. Yes, there are some cons. Well, to start with, ground clearance is quiet low 160mm I believe, unless you are a careful rider, this is not going to be a right choice for off road activites. Second, yes, you guessed it right. 'The Pillion seat.' Indian mentality asks for a pillion on a bobber but hey there are many engineers out there who could take a challenge or two thrown at them but then again, not recommended as the RTO registers it as 'Single Seat Vehicle.' My GF is the only person who I wish this feature was available for but I still got pulsar with a back seat ;). Nonetheless, I am going to have a wonderful time with this beast. I have tried to give as much information as possible below, do let me know if you need any more information. Yes, I booked the vehicle and the delivery is going to be in the month of September to the least :(. To add to all this, Corona has taken most of our precious time away. Stay safe, stay Clean! Perak3.0Bike continuously
After 6 months of booking, i got my perak. The bike got an appealing look. I was attracted with its bobber style. I have bought it for daily commuting. I am the first owner of perak in j&k. Acceleration and performance wise its pretty good. O-100 in just about 8 seconds. Dual channel abs totally helps in controlling the bike when you are riding at more than 100 kmph. I am riding this bike continuously from the past 20 days and thats the pros i felt about this bike. Now talking about the cons. First thing first, the odometer position is totally way forward, while riding, the rider cannot see the down side of the odometer as its face is way forward. Next thing, suspensions are poor, if you are riding at more than 50kmph, it cannot protect you from even small potholes, you will feel super uncomfortable. At even 25kmph, you cannot run over a speed breaker, as the bike will hit the ground due to low ground clearance. Its a super hard bike with poor suspension. Next thing, the horn is very bad as compared to its look. Even activa scooter has better horn than perak. Another thing, the mileage i am getting is about 20-21 kmpl while company claims it to be 35 kmpl and thats too low. Last thing, the side stand is small and it cannot stand on off-road surface as it has a risk to fall down.Final words, its a small ride city bike, that can only be ridden on flat and clean road with no bumps at all (which is not possible on indian roads). So buy only if you are super comfortable in accepting big shocks on small pits for spending around 2.5 lacs on a jawa bobber bike.

Perak4.2Caused due
The bike is great to look at from a distance. But once you approach the bike, You find a lot of wires, Panel gaps and body work asymmetry. The bike is extremely fun to drive in the city, While not disappointing on the highway. The seating position, Although semi-sport, Is very comfortable and not at all stressful for upto 1.5hrs of driving. The suspension was stiff when i got the bike, But got really great at damping after sometime.I never had issues with the ground clearance, Even when i took the guy off-road.I have deep scratches on the right exhaust and left stand, Caused due to leaning during a corner. The bike handles like a charm even at high speeds(if you have the balls).Although i've been tempted to remove the fuse of the abs for more bite, The fact that i've been saved multiple times because of it has prevented me from doing that.Overall the bike is pretty good, And given the fact that not everybody is going to spend 2+ lakhs on a bike with only 1 seat makes it all the more unique and special.I love my perak (bruce).

Perak1.4Worst bike
Worst bike i ever used.I have used to bought this bike around 18 month only yesterday it\'s forth service has been done and there is a lots of issues with the build quality as well as the engine. The body parts like the cover of the chain then the mudguard holder as always the many bolt and nuts are automatically coming out or broking.Today morning i went to the market and the bike engine automatically stopped it is unable to make start around 3.30 hour has been gone till now the bike haven\'t started yet.I am facing this engine problem around 6 or 7 month earlier then also the problem is not solving. It is a huge with a bike then also i have to push this bike towards my home which is around 3 km from the market it is very difficult to handle this type of problem having a bike within 2 years not the complete 2 years. So my suggestion is don\'t take this bike or any other segment of this bike company.

Perak2.6Jawa perak
I am owner of jawa perak unfortunately my experince was not good.Lets talk about some good and bad things about jawa perak bad thing.Engine is not refined its sound like like tractor and service center are also not good average to too low like in city 17 and highways 23.Not made for indian roads specially villages with too many breakers because of ground clearnceheating issue is also a reason i know higher cc bikes heat alot but this bike heat double than royal enfield so you have to wear a gear while driving all parts are damm to costly and no local macenic can repair your bike lets talk about some good things power delivery is just f*****g awesome just like any sports bike.Looks are damm god every single person look back and ask for brand due to low ground clearnce stable on highways and no viberations like re.Speedometer is also not good but it depends on person to person choice.
