Q. In Meteor anybody facing timing chain or tappet noise from engine at the RPM of 3000 - 4000 in every gear. I am facing the issue.

It seems RE is unaware of why the new engine is making tappet noise... I am having the same problem in my Meteor as well... service center ppl are totally confused and don't know how to resolve this noise issue... they asked me to ride for another 1000 kms... and noise increased now they say we will do it in 2nd service... but I am worried that engine might split apart...

It is irritational to have this slight tappet sound but I thought it is normal or not an malfunction because every possible meteor rider have this sound like classic 350 and thats normal in that engine

I am also facing the same problem.chhan chhan sound comes from engine,,,it irritated me very much,,,,,if I asked about this sound they always says we adjusted it it's peak level and every meteor have its own and different sound

My 2022 Meteor is also noisy. There is the tappet ticking but there is another clanking sound that I hear when accelerating hard. I honestly think it is just a trait of this engine. It runs great just a little noisy.

I am also facing similar issue. It started after the 1st service at 500 km. RE service people rechecked the tappet gaps and related things... But couldn't solve the issue

Have you given to the bike to service center? What did they say? Problem solved? Becoz Iam facing the same issue.
