• Q. I always go on a break at my home town Gurgaon to Khairthal, it has a drive of 130km on every trip. I go home, can I run my Bajaj Platina 100 bike nonstop and what are the side effects of the long drive? After how many km do I get the service done?

Hi you cannot drive 130 KM non-stop, since it's not good for your health as well. When ever you have a long trip always drink more water at the same time give a break to bike, like when i am riding the bike from Chennai to Tiruvannamali, i stop three times in between for TEA break & park your vehicle under the trees and switch of the Engine, No 1 : It's safe No 2 : You will Not be get back pain No 3: Your bike engine oil & tyres will get cool naturaly. If you are riding 130 km every day Please check the engine oil level on every week of Sunday. Please make sure that you maintain the DTS-i engine oil on the correct level. Maintain the Highway speed 50kmph for Long life, Excellent millage & safe journey.

See the thing is to run any bike at any number of KM doesn't matter untill unless we already serviced , oil change interval, a proper petrol and air ratio through carborator, and tyre air presure according to summer or winter and such things....So yea you definitely run bike 130km i have run 250 km at once just got oil seal leaked nothing else...Service depending upon km , i do it every 2500 -3000 km depend upon my riding ..

Platina has a very upright position which is comfortable, but can't b driven for so long. Infact the engine capacity is not much so u can take no. Of breaks as suitable to u but yes it can go that long without having ant heating issue.

  • Bajaj Platina 110: A Step Up in Everyday Commuting

Upgrading to the Bajaj Platina 110 after using several other commuter bikes has been pleasantly surprising. This bike comes with a 115 cc engine, slightly more powerful than its predecessor makes it more adept at handling both city commutes and occasional longer rides. It is also remarkably fuel efficient at around 80 kmpl, which is ideal for budget conscious users. The added features like the anti skid braking and better cushioned seats make the riding experience more comfortable and safe. However, one of the challenges with the Platina 110 is its build quality.

Having commuted on the Bajaj Platina 100 for several months, it is the day to day reliability and fuel efficiency that stands out the most. The bike, equipped with a 102 cc engine is perfect for city riding. It is lightweight and easy to handle, which makes weaving through traffic a breeze. The Platina 100 offers an impressive mileage of about 90 kmpl makes it extremely economical for regular use. However, the bike’s simplicity is also its drawback. The suspension is basic and riding on uneven roads can be uncomfortable.
