Q. Dear sir My 1st bike Unicorn 2009 model & still I am using it. I like Honda very much because of smooth engine but the problem is service and spares, it is costly. My 2nd bike Thunderbird 2015 it was very less cost in service and maintenance (I sold thunderbird). Now I am confuse to choose whether to buy Thunderbird 500x or Cbr 250r, because I like both. Which one is best?

You are comming from a commuter honda bike to a sport tourer, It has its advantages like the power gap between both are huge it does give you a whole another level of refinement and torque. Talking about thunderbird i am a very big fan of the old model thunderbirds. I was a bit disappointed when i ridden the new thunderbirds bcos of the vibes and i dont know what posture suits u and what you like so thats up to you. On one hand u will get a honda with high refined engine which has a lot more concentrated pull than 500cc RE. Not letting down RE here but logically comparing cbr250r to a 500 RE TB or a Bullet i do believe cbr gives u more of a wow factor while riding. See Royal enfields are not used to b what they are like in the old days. Reportable incidents and poor engine quality issues which i heard via friends. My pick cbr250R anyday over RE. If u are that much concerned about maintainance cost and availability i really dont know since am not facing that as a major issue. Good luck brother.

Yes I got issue with my Thunderbird it getting more vibration when I was riding above 70km and the it’s lagging the sudden pickup . Even I am easy to cross 90km speed in my unicorn without any vibration after unicorn I don’t feel any comfort and smooth ride in any vehicle . Thanks for your reply now I am definitely choose Cbr 250 .

If you want both sports look and good engine just go for cbr 250r.its silent beast which has refined engine also which gives you smooth riding also you can go for long tour with cbr 250r it's very comfortable.
