  • Q. How much will be the maintenance costs for the ABS variant of 2018 CBR250R. As I am a Student at Ramaiah University, will i be able to manage this bike in Bangalore City Traffic as a daily commute.Also inform me about any heat issues in traffic ? Thanks

    The only problem Which I was facing in city traffic while riding the CBR 250R is the engine heat otherwise in highway it is ok. If you are buying a ABS version then its good for you. If CBR 250R is the 1st bike for you then please don't go for it Pleas go for any 150 cc bike such as unicorn, hornet, extreme, etc. In servicing you must have to do only water wash for bike, engine oil change, top up the oil in coolant if required, change the air filter if necessary, change or check the brake pads, check all the bulbs are working if not then change it, and the last but not the least check all the wiring in the bike. So according to the work they may charge you, however it may be till RS 1000 for servicing only.

    No bike can manage the bangalore traffic. Use a cycle instead. CBR250R is ok for traffic as its fully faired and powerful. No heating issues. I use it in Mumbai traffic and it good.

  • Great Bike In This Segment

    I have been using this bike for the last 8 years. Honestly, this bike is a legendary bike in the quarter-liter segment, it has a very reliable and smooth engine. The build quality is good but the spare parts are a little expensive and the mileage is quite good for a 250 cc bike. Now I am getting like 30 to 33 per kmpl also the brake are too good. The body balancing is dam good while doing the corners but I have to change the tyres, I have ridden the bike around 47000 km and I'm happy to be owned a bike like CBR250R.
