Q. What are the difference made in BS6 Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 from bs4 SF 250?
  • Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 BS6 draws power from a 249cc, fuel-injected single-cylinder engine with oil-cooling. That said, Suzuki has tinkered with the engine to comply with BS6 emissions. The result is a power output of 26.5PS (same as before) at 9300rpm and 22.2Nm of peak torque at 7300rpm, mated to a 6-speed transmission. The BS4 Gixxer 250 SF produces the same power, however, at 300rpm higher. It also produces 0.4Nm more torque at 7500rpm. Unfortunately, apart from an updated motor, the bike remains physically and visually unchanged.
