I just got the new Gixxer 250 and I'm so impressed! The driving experience is really nice, it's so smooth and comfortable to ride. The bike feels very stable and planted, even at high speeds. The seating position is just perfect for me, nice and upright. The best thing about this bike is the overall performance - it's got plenty of power and the eng ine feels really refined. The mileage is also pretty good, I'm getting around 35 kmpl which is decent. The build quality seems solid too, no rattles or issues so far. However, the one downside is that there is some vibrations at higher revs, can feel it through the handlebars and pegs. The features are good but I wish it had few more like bluetooth connectivity and all.The after sales service has been hit or miss so far. The guys at the dealership are helpful but the wait times for service can be quite long sometimes. Overall, I'm really happy with my Gixxer 250 and would definitely recommend it! ...Read More

I was here waiting for an ABS version of a 250 cc mo-bike from yamaha, the fz 25. I kbow it very well, having ridden it for 1 year but gave up because it did bit have ABS.NOW, again after waiting for nore than 6 months of its launch in India, it still has not arrived here in Kathmandu. Perhaps its local dealers wish to clear up the old stock, i do not know.the waiting got too much, and i booked a Suzuki gixxer 250 (naked, of course, and not the sf variant) during the auto show (still continuing during the time of writing), but i now suspect that the gixxer 250 naked does not have a central stand.!!!!!!!! I am shocked!!!! WHY????????? I need one (a central stand, that is) for regular maintenance at home, and also for cleaning purposes. Also, i need a central stand for packing and tying up luggage and saddle bags while on a tour...!!!!! I do not see a good logic for this omission on a naked bike, not one!!!!!!! So...... (??? )What do you say there???? (PS: I do not like pure sports, or faired variants; and i shall never buy any one of those. Also, 250 cc segment is where my heart belongs. I am 43, and I trust no other brands than Japanese manufacturers.) ...Read More
