Q. Which one is better Gixxer or Apache RTR 160 4V?
  • Hen it came down to choosing a fun 160cc motorcycle, the Suzuki Gixxer was our pick of the lot. It made a lot of sense for those who wanted to ride to the hills on Sunday and commute to work on a Monday. There's a new motorcycle in the segment now, the TVS Apache RTR 160 4v; one that promises this and a lot more. Will the reigning champion of the segment have cause to worry then? The Suzuki Gixxer is such a lively motorcycle that it's hard to ignore it. Its peppy motor, lightweight and flickable nature makes it a delight in the city and if that's the boundary that you are going to stick to, the Gixxer still makes a lot of sense. As much as we love the Gixxer, it is dethroned by the TVS Apache RTR 160 4v. It is equally well built, makes more power and handles better when you turn the wick up. And it does all of this in a calm manner. At Rs 95,237 OTR Mumbai, the Apache is priced a shade below the Gixxer SP (Rs 97,000) and that pretty much seals the deal in favour of the TVS, the new segment king!.
  • IF U NEED POWER AND MORE SPEED THEN CHOOSE 200 & U WANT BUGDET,MILAGE, SPEED BUT NOT MORE THEN 200 THEN CHOOSE 160,SIMPLE
  • For long term performance only suzuki brand

Q. Which is the best bike compared with Honda Hornet, TVS Apache RTR 160 4v, Yamaha FZ S 3.0 in mileage, pickup, comfort, price, service and spares?
  • If we compare Fi version of all bike then i think pickup of TVS Apache will be more, according to mileage 1st will be Hornet then Yamaha and then Apache but the difference will be only 4-5 kms.If we come to comfort i own Apache and i didnt find any problem with comfort, and for pricing you should contact dealers in the city.
  • Need comment on Suzuki introduer B6 vs Appache RTR160 4V for maintenance free spares avilable, comfort and safety. looking for my colleage going son. pl suggest
  • I will pick apache rtr 160 4v among these bikes because of its performance, comfort, mileage is average, and looks of this bike. Apache is surely one of the best looking bike in 160 cc segment and most powerful too. And also it is the most value for money purchase among these bikes.

Q. Which will be better between Apache RTR 160 4V or Fz-fi(3.0) in terms of build quality, mileage and performance?
  • Mileage is better in fz it comes upto 55 kmpl and has a very stable control where as Apache is not worth for ita price ... In today's time people prefer mileage over power yes fz is under power but not disappointing. So my choice will always be fz
  • Yes so very true. In today's world people prefer mileage and not power that is why more and more powerful bikes are getting produced and 100cc bike market is on a sharp decline..
  • Both bikes are made of fibre...and in both milage and performance apache is better

The driving public appreciate the compounded aspects of its smooth engine, great acceleration and agile handling, a performance standard that stirs racing emotions. Still lurking though, the few complained they found it uncomfortable for long rides and other enhancing measures, such as wind protection, for the cruising at high speed were what they also suggested.
