Buttons are sturdy, wires neatly managed, and there's a sense of precision in every detail. Comfort is not compromised either, as the seating posture and cushioning ensure long rides are fatigue-free. However, the Speed 400 isn't without its drawbacks. The dashboard has some minor issues, including difficulties with resetting the time and erratic fuel indicator behavior. Vibrations become noticeable after 7k rpm or at speeds exceeding 120 km/hr, albeit subtly. In heavy traffic, the bike tends to heat up, although it handles highway journeys without issue. There are signs of wear on the gear-shifting levers, causing occasional false neutrals, which I hope will be resolved after the first service. Additionally, there's a slight delay in throttle response, particularly in 2nd gear. Riders may also find themselves sliding towards the tank more often than desired, a situation that should improve with knee grip pads. The bike is prone to mud splashes, necessitating regular cleaning of the seat's lower end and the area near the rear suspension.
