The 2024 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is equipped with the new J-series engine, boasting a counterbalancer for enhanced refinement compared to its predecessor. While several aspects of the motorcycle have been modernised, it retains the iconic silhouette of the original Bullet, complete with the classic pea-shooter exhaust.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Price : The base Military Edition of the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 costs Rs 1,73,562, the Military Silver Edition is available at 1,79,000 whereas the Standard Maroon and Standard Black comes at Rs 1,97,436. The top-end version retails at Rs 2,15,801 (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Design : The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 has been cherished for its timeless retro styling, and the new 2024 Bullet 350 preserves the core design ethos. Although the rear fender appears slightly shorter and features a circular taillight instead of the previous rectangular one, the overall design elements, including the fuel tank shape, side panel design, and front fender, maintain a strong resemblance to its predecessor. All the variants except the base Military edition get hand-painted pinstripes.

Features of Royal Enfield Bullet 350 : One of the standout features is the inclusion of a semi-digital instrument cluster, mirroring the setup found in the Royal Enfield Classic 350. It combines an analog speedometer with tell-tale lights and a digital display showing fuel levels, trip meter, odometer readings, and an Eco indicator. The bike also adopts the same rotary switchgear as the Classic 350 and Meteor 350, featuring a USB port on the left switchgear. Additionally, it gets a range of accessory parts such as seats, windshields, and crash guards.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Engine : The heart of the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is its J-series 349cc BS6.2-compliant counterbalanced engine, delivering 20.2PS at 6100rpm and 27Nm at 4000rpm. In comparison, the previous 346cc UCE engine produced 19.36PS at 5250rpm and 28Nm at 4000rpm. This new engine pairs with a 5-speed transmission.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Suspension, Brakes & Other Details : The Bullet 350 is constructed on a double cradle frame, identical to the one used in the Royal Enfield Classic 350, and is coupled with a 41mm telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers. Notably, the J-series Bullet rolls on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels, fitted with 100-section and 120-section tubed tyres from Ceat respectively. Braking is handled by a 300mm front disc across all variants, with the base model featuring a rear drum and single-channel ABS. The mid-spec and top-end variants come equipped with a 270mm rear disc and dual-channel ABS. The bike features a 13-litre fuel tank and an 805mm tall single-piece contoured seat, with a decent ground clearance of 170mm.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Rivals : The 2024 Royal Enfield Bullet 350 faces competition from the Benelli Imperiale 400, Jawa, and Honda H’ness CB350. More budget-friendly retro alternatives include the Kawasaki W175 and Yamaha FZ-X.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Variants : Royal Enfield offers the 2024 Bullet 350 in three distinct variants. The base variant is available in Military Red or Military Black, featuring blacked-out body panels, a coloured tank, and a brushed metal finish on the powertrain and exhaust. It comes with a rear drum brake and single-channel ABS to maintain affordability. In contrast, the Military Silver Edition available in Military SilverBlack and Military SilverRed gets all the features as the base variant. Additionally, it comes with hand-painted pinstripes on the sides and on top of the fuel tank. It also gets pinstripes on the side panels. The Standard Maroon and Standard Black variant boasts premium colour schemes with hand-pinstriped fuel tanks, adorned with 3D chrome and gold badges. It also comes equipped with a rear disc and dual-channel ABS. The range-topping Black Gold variant showcases a combination of matte and gloss finishes on the fuel tank, along with blacked-out powertrain and exhaust, hand-painted golden pinstripes on the tank, 3D badging, and a headlight visor. This variant also includes a rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS as standard. Aside from differences in braking hardware and aesthetics, all variants share standard features.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 Expert Review

Overview

The Royal Enfield Bullet, with a history spanning nine decades, has been a cornerstone in solidifying the Enfield brand's reputation. Its enduring legacy is firmly rooted in its authoritative road presence, driven by an iconic engine known for its distinctive exhaust note. The Bullet undergoes a generational transformation, introducing a fresh chassis, engine, and an array of enhancements geared towards boosting its standing in the vintage roadster segment. Yet, the pivotal inquiry persists: has Royal Enfield effectively retained the core essence and allure of the Bullet amidst this evolutionary journey?

Design

Across generations, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 has consistently commanded the road with its robust presence. The latest rendition of the Bullet 350 keeps this unique charisma intact while introducing subtle enhancements. At first glance, the design might appear familiar, reminiscent of the UCE Bullet.

However, upon closer examination, notable updates come to the fore. The new chassis, a sleeker top part of the rear fender, a reimagined taillight section, and a unified seat contribute to a more fluid and rejuvenated look.

Furthermore, the exquisite paint job, accentuated by elegant pinstripes and the enduring Bullet insignias, elevates the bike's aesthetics to new heights.

Engine, Mileage & Performance

One of the most noteworthy upgrades in the new Bullet 350 is the 349cc air-cooled, counter-balanced single-cylinder J-series engine, boasting an output of 20.2PS and 27Nm. The refinement of this motor becomes evident within just a few minutes of riding.

This engine shines in delivering abundant low-end and mid-range torque, ensuring exceptional maneuverability at low speeds. Whether you're navigating the urban jungle or enjoying a leisurely cruise on the highway, the engine's performance injects a sense of excitement into your ride.

In comparison to its predecessor, the UCE Bullet 350, the new engine exhibits significantly reduced vibrations. These vibrations start to make their presence felt on the footpegs and handlebar around the 60kmph mark. It's worth noting, however, that these manageable vibrations contribute to the timeless appeal of the Bullet, enhancing its classic charm.

Furthermore, in terms of preserving its character, the exhaust note, while more refined, maintains that distinctive bassy thump and growl, particularly if you lend a keen ear.

Handling & Ride Quality

The brand-new chassis has significantly improved the balance and agility of the fresh Bullet 350, rendering it highly responsive to abrupt changes in direction across diverse road surfaces. This chassis design adeptly manages the bike's 195kg kerb weight, rendering it exceptionally nimble in traffic and instilling added confidence when navigating winding routes.

While the 300mm front disc brake impressively brings the bike to a halt, it could benefit from enhanced initial bite and feedback regarding the braking progression. Nevertheless, this minor point doesn't pose a major concern. In contrast, the 270mm rear disc brake delivers sharp and responsive braking, effectively communicating the evolution of brake pressure. The combination of this brake setup with dual-channel ABS harmonizes perfectly with the overall riding experience.

Comfort

The 41mm telescopic fork, offering 130mm of suspension travel, effectively soaks up road imperfections like bumps and potholes, allowing the front-end to remain stable and well-connected without excessive rebound. On the other hand, the twin rear shock absorbers, with a slightly firmer tuning, in conjunction with the sturdier single-piece seat, do transmit some of the road's irregularities and undulations to the rider's lower back. However, this remains within manageable bounds.

Features

Regarding its features, the Bullet 350 is outfitted with an analog speedometer complemented by an LCD inset, elevating overall user-friendliness. However, a minor disappointment surfaces concerning the layout surrounding the instrument console. To clarify, on the left side of the console, you'll encounter the keyhole. On the right side, a circular RE logo is positioned, devoid of any practical function—it essentially acts as a decorative filler. This design decision appears somewhat incongruent when juxtaposed with the otherwise well-considered design of the motorcycle.

Should you buy the Royal Enfield Bullet 350?

The incorporation of the new J-series platform, improved suspension, gearbox, and the addition of vintage paint choices showcase Royal Enfield's adeptness at preserving the iconic essence of the Bullet nameplate while aligning it with the modern era. These modifications have propelled the Bullet 350 to a stage where it retains its authoritative road presence while offering enhanced performance and improved ride comfort. It has not disappointed, and we are genuinely impressed by these transformative enhancements.

  • a package filled with excitement

My Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is a classic bike known for its timeless design, simple mechanics, and comfortable riding posture. It is a great choice for riders who enjoy riding and exploring, but might not be ideal for everyday commuting or highway riding due to its limitations. It genrally has a 349cc engine which provides much power for daily rides . However, the lack of standard ABS (on some variants) is still a concern for my family .However, the lack of standard ABS (on some variants)

The seat of this bike is wide and the seating position is very good and the braking of this bike is very good but the weight is heavy. • Timeless Charm and my pride

The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 may be a little bit pricier than the other models, but the model must still be able to attract many motorcycle fans due to its iconic and very characteristic design, as well as reliable performance. For customers, there are three main features to love: classic tailoring, string build, and satisfying rumble exuding from the engine. Riders greatly consider this bicycle’s relaxing features and ability to be changed according to their personal needs. Nonetheless, the few customers consume lack of routine service and ABS analogues as the main issues, which they affirm.

    Huge improvements

I am using the bullet 350 es since 2020.I have ridden nearly 20000 km so far. Some pros which i observed while using this bike for nearly 4 years are: 1)good low end torque, 2) carry heavy weight, 3) great sitting posture 4) infinitely customisable 5) great road presence 6) comfortable for long distance travelling both for rider as well as pillion 7) returns good mileage in proportion to its weight 8) old school bullet signature thump can be easily brought back with some modification in exhaust, Bend pipe etc(can lead to heavy challan but again it depends on where you live) 8)kickstart option is lifesaver specially in winter 9)cheaper to maintain compared to some other international brands specially if servicing is done locally 10) parts are available and is quite affordable. However there are some disadvantages which i felt while using this bike. These are 1)bike is heavy 2)weight distribution is disproportionate 3)heavy vibration 4)brakes are spongy 5) factory fitted tyres are thin and tube typed and is prone to frequent puncture 6) electrical wiring need huge improvements.Overall i am happy with my bike as it Service my purpose very well and planning to add more and more kms in time to come.

For riders appearing for a traditional rider experience, the Royal Enfield pellet 350 continues to be a popular option because of its dateless fineness and seeing supplication.

  • The Royal Enfield Bullet 350: A Classic Ride

The Bullet 350, manufactured by Royal Enfield, may be considered as a classic design that compliments its reliable performance. It is an older model, which shows itself in the appearance of the car and the basic construction, but still it is quite dependable in terms of performances while driving. Besides improving the performance, the clean and reliable engine with 350cc is a good addition for a leisure trip and for cruising around the city. Having a powerful yet simple heart like a thumping exhaust tone and and dovetailing old school records add more to its appeal, targeting riders who love their simpletons and are proud of their heritage.
