- Faced this question 5 years back while buying one for my self.Safari is good highway cruiser has good off road abilities bit not too good in city driving but doesn't have front facing 3rd row.Scorpio is also good on highway ( Safari is faster 154 bhp ) has good off-road capability excellent in city driving and has front facing 3rd row.So chosen Scorpio. You can decide on these criteria.

- Come, come Lakshya-ji - I am tempted to answer like Winston Churchill to the suffragette's question ('Winston, how many toes does a pig have'?) in Parliament 'Count your own, Maggie'! If you are serious, why don't you look it up on the net - such frivolous questions are also answered,
- 6+1
- 6 gears
- Yes
- EBD and airbag (ABS) DOES
- Yes it does
- Go For Mg Hector or Kia Seltos
- Always purchase safe car MG and kia is not safe buy Tata cars
- Harrier is the best
- 1400000
- Minimum 14 .
- Before answering the question I should mention that I am firmly in the RWD, body-on-chassis corner of the SUV segment. Having said that it is easier to answer the question. I believe the Scorpio is a much better option than the Hector - if one is looking for a durable, abuse-friendly SUV with massive all-India service & maintenance support. Though the M&M service back-up earns its share of brick-bats from owners like me.If one is looking for frills & and candy-floss (all the latest connectivity goodies!) on a large FWD hatch-on-stilts, then one can go for the Hector. But please remember that the MG A*S network in India is a largely unknown factor. And please don't call it an SUV. Our market today is crammed with clones of the Hector - largish FWD hatchbacks-on-stilts & steroids. But SUVs they are not.We (my wife & I and our two boxers) have used the Scorpio for 14+ years & have had a blast gallivanting around the country - from Uttaranchal to Coorg, Kolkata, Mumbai and places in between. And have loved every moment of it, knowing that our Bucephalus would never let us down far from home. It never did
- You can't compare an apple with an orange. Both are different segment machines.
- Scorpio is better
- Scorpio's lower variants has a good resale value (s4 s5 s7 and m2di). scorpio's higher variants has low resale value compared to the lower variants.
- Scorpio resale value is always high compare with XUV 500
- Scorpio for sure...
- It depends on your use. Both the cars have excellent performance in their segment. If you ask for my opinion I would like to buy the muscular Scorpio instead of Harrier. Scorpio has its own benefits: large boot space, stylish muscular looks etc whereas Harrier looks stylish but it does not have space like the Scorpio.
- As a scorpio and hector owner Go For Mg Hector or kia seltos if u are ok with 2wd otherwise scorpio
- Wiring of Scorpio is unsuccessful Lighting system is totally failure
- 4800
- Depends on vehicle confition . At this stage min cost 8000.
- 8000 to 12000 thousand depend on vehicle condition
- Yes. I m driving one since 5 year
- 7 seater
- No
- If you can extend your budget go for jeep compass. It hs decent 4×4.Scorpio's 4×4 is not good and therefore can't be used as hardcore offroader. If you are ok with 2×2 go for creta harrier or MG hector,it may be equipped with a decent 4×4 system.
- Safari storme 4x4 the original rival. If you can spend more then tata hexa 4x4.
- You can go for Isuzu D max looks strong and powerful
- The infotainment system is decent but the touch is not so responsive but it works.
- Yes the touch screen of Scorpio s11 is very good and responsive
- In very short yes
- The 9 seater has the last four seats in the boot section with 2 seats facing each other, and the 7 seater has the last two seats facing front. The older version gives you a mileage of 9 kms per ltr, and the newer versions give you an average of 14 kms per ltr.
- Always remember mileage is depending on your driving
- Maximum variant have 8 seating options
- I have owned a Scorpio for some time now, and am very confident of its performance on road. I missed a turn and was on the wrong road once, I turned around, when my wife asked me take the vehicle off road and take the shorter route to the main road. It was more like a dirt track, with small mounds and a ditch.in the track. The vehicle took the road with great ease, and in a short while I was on the highway.
- For Rough roads , for regular travel,Thar would be a better option. Scorpio is a family SUV , smooth and preferably for smoother roads and smotimes for fun of of roading.
- Very much suitable. With roads , bad roads and no roads. The beast will not stop.
- If u r considering resale value than go for Scorpio as I have seen trend safari is not having good resale value if compared with Scorpio even after some time the condition of safari become worst
- Scorpio by all means , zero maintenance, best after sales service, from Mahindras, compared to Storm and Tata Motors
- You can wait for upcoming safari. Or else go for scorpio . Best in all terms over storm.
- Based on your level nd It will depend on various factors like loan amount, monthly EMI, interest rate, maintenance cost of the car, etc. We would suggest you to visit the nearest dealership or the financing authority to get the exact information.
- Depending upon your running, it gives best milage of 10KM/L + EMI + Monthly maintenance between 6-8 K
- Mine is 30,000 per month but I'm single so it's fine for me😂
- Both the variants get the same 140 hp engine, however features are different. You can refer to the link below to see the actual difference hence consider checking the link for variants difference.https://www.mahindrascorpio.com/mahindra-scorpio-model.aspx?id=comparemodelsMahindra SYOUV team
- There is difference of accessories and few feature like cruise control, music system, auto head lights, rain sensing wipers, ajjar Waring and so on
- Engine and body same ...cosmetics yes and ofcourse how much you are wanting to spend
- Pathetic, back seat passengers goes for toss if vehicle is not fully occupied. It’s flip flop rather than jumping
- I have Scorpio 135000km had done no changes time 4 yrs completely only changes oils and oil filter 20.000km every
- Balanced
- Harrier is most powerful out of these and feature rich too most comfortable 7seater with some luggage space. Scorpio is driver's car, has good features. I have previous generation scorp so better to test drive all 3 with family on good and bad roads and then decide
- Scorpio is proper suv with 7 seats option and its success full in all ways like power, perfomance, mileage, and even looks, marazzo is MPV version and more comfortable then scorpio with low power then scorpio, Tata Harrier is updated with new goodies like music system and electronice features.but still scorpio is better option too.
- If u want to buy a trusted flagship product then go for Scorpio and if u want to do experiment than u can buy the the other two option, whish is urs
- Yes u can have captain seat in the top models of Scorpio s10 and s 11. But after it u will be unable to utilized the trunk space of Scorpio
- 30000
- Yes
- Yes for the driver. I m enjoying one for past 5 years. Others have to adjust as good amounts of body roll is there very less luggage space for a 8 seater. It has the same dna as the Thar but has better comfort than the Thar. Probably xuv will be the better one as a Family suv
- Yes brother im driving scorpio from last 10 years and in my thoughts its always on the top because of its ruggedness and power which it delivers
- Yes
- Mahindra Scorpio and Mahindra XUV500 ex-showroom price starts at Rs 10.0 Lakh for S3 (Diesel) and Rs 12.57 Lakh for W5 (Diesel). ... As far as mileage is concerned, the Scorpio has a mileage of 16.36 kmpl (Diesel top model) and the XUV500 has a mileage of 14.0 kmpl (Diesel top model). Scorpio is solid build at affordable price . It has an option of 140 BHP. Whereas XUV500 is more of luxurious and stylish. XUV is has caught more attention from people who drive sedans.
- Both have their own standards. It's upon you what you would like to have a luxurious vehicle or a stylish muscular beast. Scorpio is a stylish vehicle whereas XUV500 will have loads of features.
- Depends on your usage. If only on highway and city only then xuv it has good features and decent luggage space. For bad / no roads , highway , city drive scorp.
- That's coz u may 've shifted gears frequently or released the clutch harder n used AC on high for long times.Rest the beast (Scorpio) for 1 hour & keep idling for 4mins after checking oil coolant n etc all
- Get in touch with the nearest service center. They will explain you better.
- Go to authorized Scorpio workshop and check the turbo of Scorpio because the pick totally depends upon it
- No comparison between the two on comfort... obviously Innova as the base model has been updated with some cosmetic changes..
- Innova
- Innova
- Purchasing Scorpio weather manual or automatic depends upon your driving habbit and the condition where u drive, so before purchase consider these things the go for a purchase
- Everyone has there own preferences. Depending on where and what usage. Also take a test drive for both.
- But Scorpio doesn’t has AMT option
- You cannot retrofit Airbags
- Please don’t blame Scorpio
- 40 Thousand approximately.
- If you want to know the difference between S11 2WD and S11 4WD, the only difference is that 4WD comes with all(4) wheels drive but 2WD comes with only 2 wheels drive.
- What is Price difference between new mahindra scrpio s11 4dw Or s11 2 dw variant
- Difference can be specified if you can say with which vehicle to compare.but if it's only between all variants of Scorpio then u say it's the top-end in this category.
- Scorpio is a suv and xuv 300 is a hatchback dont compare like that if u like suv and have sufficient budget then go for suvs or else go for other options . Scorpio and xuv 300 is hell and heven different from each other . For suv Scorpio is a better option for hatchbacks creata xuv 300 brezza are good option s.
- According to me, it depends on what kind of vehicle you are searching for. Scorpio is a SUV in large SUV segment while XUV 300 is a compact-sub 4 metre SUV. If your priority is mileage with sporty drive than you should go with XUV 300 but if you need a powerful SUV with more space then you should have Scorpio. However I think, XUV 300 is more feature loaded vehicle then Scorpio in its segment and is worth its price.I personally suggest you for XUV 300 between the given options.
- Up to where I think both belongs to different categories. Scorpio is a SUV having big seating capacity and huge body whereas XUV 300 is a compact SUV which comes in 4 meter category. Both are totally different from each other where Scorpio is rough tough XUV 300look classy and there are lots of things which can be compared like mileage, boot capacity and many more features but the difference is that both belongs to different categories
- India ki koi bhi aisi car hamare engineer ne abhi tak to nahi banai jo rough road me use kare to hile nhi ya thodi si jump na kare mere samajh se to ye much luxurious hai.
- Scorpio is a luxurious but not much luxurious car comparing to other car but it is unique in under this price point . Bold SUV with some unique designs
- In its price segment it is a luxurious suv next to XUV 500 . Both of the suv prices are more or less same in which XUV 500 is more luxurious.
- Absolutely scorpio is better car for daily purpose then the bolero . Scorpio have some unique features like day tym running LED lights navigation and reverse parking camera cruse control etc In bolero these some features are missing. I think these are some key features a car should have
- Scorpio is best for family as its a suv you will get more mileage in smaller cars. its reliable for daily commute.
- Both car provide same mileage nominal differences between their mileage
- Yes it is available in 8 seater
- Yes S4 9 seater
- Yes
- 15 to 16 kmpl on high way and rest is depends upon your driving behaviour
- The milage is near about 12
- Mileage per km 16/19
- No s11 offer better feature
- S11
- Esy
- VARIANT & FEATURES
- Features mate!!!!
- Yeah. Definitely.
- Yes
- They have equal maintenance
- Both are same
- Both
- Conventional wheels with wheel caps
- Normal wheels with wheel cap. Alloy wheel only in s11.
- Normal...
- But mahindra show it in brochure
- Yes
- Yes
- Features vary from model to model so please specify the model.As per new update scorpio is now available in S3 , s5, s7 120 , s7 140 , s9 & s11.
- You can download the brochure. Scorpio has lots of features.
- Which model in scorpio????
- 5 gears in S3. S7 with 140 BHP comes with 6 speed gearbox
- 5 front and one reverse
- It has 5
- S11 is feature packed. Scorpio is known for its ability to handle off-roading scenes with aplomb. it is rugged and big on size. but it is not a comfortable car. maintenance cost is also on the higher side. so I'd suggest you to look for more urban SUV like the Harrier, newly launched Hector, hexa etc unless you are not looking for some serious off-roading
- Got a facelift and can opt for 4x4 which is totally useless by the way, so.. I prefer the S10 and kept the remaining money to my pocket... even to somehow customize it...
- S11 is the top most model in the new updates series of scorpio . It is equipped with all features like abs , rear wiper , de fogger , etc . But the engine remains the same 120 bhp m hawk engine offered by mahendra to rest of its models except s7 140 as it gets more powered engine .
- S9 can be a 2 wheel drive or a 4 wheel drive . Its based on ur choice . Every model features optional 4wd . So if u want you can go for it with a lump sum more ₹.
- S9 is available in two wheel driveif you want a four wheel drive Scorpio you have to go for s11
- All variants of Scorpio are 2 wheel drive except S11
- Zigwheels pe model compare karle bhai
- Features and comfort.
- The more you pay the more features you get
- Its good if u look to budget . You can customize when you have funds . It offers you all required features and others which is absent there you can install them.
- Depends on your requirements
- All scorpio is good
- Ask dealership
- There are no offers but there may be a price hike in January
- Yes
- No. Mahindra used to sell petrol scorpio a long time ago from 2002-2005 (Scorpio Glx petrol). Google it and you will find out. petrol version scorpio was a big flop. Not sure if they sold a petrol version in vlx model (2009-14
- Till now Scorpio doesn't come with a petrol variant but it is rumoured that petrol variant will launch Doon with the 2020 model next year.
- Scorpio comes in Diesel only with two power house m2DICR and mHawk .
- You have asked me a question which I have been asked on another forum recently! Because I had mentioned that the TUV300 plus was on top of my bucket list when we go in for another car. The obvious visual difference is in their looks. The Scorpio looks like the classic macho SUV and when it was launched it was a sensation and went on to become an icon & remains popular to this day. The 300 Plus is more angular and has been compared to a Toyota SJ Cruiser on another forum!! Tho' that is laughable as far as their abilities go, visually their is a distinct similarity between them, specially between the earlier TUV300 & the SJ.. Under the skin, the similarities between the current Scorpio and the 300 Plus are well known. Both have the same state-of-the-art hydro-formed body-on-chassis structure with identical wheel bases. For me, the biggest plus is that it has the 2.2 L M-Hawk engine that the Scorpio has, tho' in a slightly lower state of tune. Plus the fact that the 300 Plus is a good deal easier on the pocket - important for me as a retired senior citizen! Most importantly, the 300 Plus has a large boot (comparable to the Scorpio) which can accommodate our pets (we have two medium large hyper active boxers) who often accompany us on our jaunts. All the rest - the interior plastics, upholstery, UI screens, GPS, mobile connectivity etc - are just so much frills and candyfloss as far as we (my wife & I) are concerned. It is large enough to accommodate our pets, it has that near bullet proof M-Hawk 2.2 L, is rugged enough to take us on our frequent trips to Magonia (Naukuchiatal in Uttaranchal) and back! And that is good enough for us. So, God willing, our next road trip should be on the 300 Plus!
- TUV is new model which has many features shared from scorpio, though scorpio has its own personality and ruggedness. Its a proper SUV and you are going to enjoy it.
- 300 is nothing more than a down sized version of Scorpio for people who want a smaller suv with all the features of a larger suv and is lower on price
- Thanks Virendra, I understand your point of view but I have to admit that I have a slightly different take on the subject. I have been touring the length & breadth of Uttaranchal for the past 20+ years (I am 66+ !) & I have found fully laden FWD-ers often in difficulties on the steeper (1 in 3 or more) inclines with tight hairpins, specially if the surfacing was gravel or kaccha. They would be scrabbling for traction & the engine could be heard straining. I am talking about the larger FWD-ers, with WB-es over 2.4 mts (City, Ikon, Verna, or larger). The small hatchbacks on the other hand showed great agility and had no difficulty on the inclines. In contrast RWD-ers (Omni, Eeco, Bolero, Sumo, Tavera etc) displayed no drama at all but managed to trundle on in the lower gears. Needless to add, our Scorpio showed complete disdain for all inclines (so long as the approach & departure angles were alright). This leads me to conclude that RWD (or AWD) might be the preferred choice for me Regarding the structure (monocoque or otherwise) I have not made up my mind yet. As an engineer I feel that a monocoque would undoubtedly provide the rigidity (specially torsional rigidity) needed for agile handling & maneuverability. But my experience with the Scorpio leads me to feel that as far as ruggedness & durability is concerned, the older body-on-chassis structure suggests itself. There are other factors of course - the budget most importantly (I am retired now and financial planning is of vital importance!) and interior space is important too - we have pets, our pair of active and largish boxers, who have accompanied us frequently during our Uttaranchal sojourns So I am still undecided and am looking for feedback like yours and from others too.
- My reply was basically for an average person and I didn't know about your credentials and I am 42 years old guy who has done bit of off roading too. gypsy, mahindra mm440 so I do own a Scorpio and I never liked it one bit poor handling even worse suspension and that continuous movement on both sides the only reason it's selling is because there is no other vehicle is class by any other company. so what I am trying to say is don't judge the book by its cover. so now you want to know my choice it's definitely Renault capture. list of vehicles I have driven and owned till dateJeep (without di)Fiatambassador maruti gypsymaruti vanmaruti esteem Opel AstraFord ikonScorpioToyota livaand will be buying the Toyota yaris soon and I am a farmer by profession so I know all about mud and gravel roads I would like an awd vehicle that would be my choice for drive train.
- It depends on where you are planning to use it. I prefer RWD or AWD. Go online and you will find awd is better than fwd. In city driving and highway sprints monocoque is better. I will go for an awd as next change. As you had Scorpio you already know many things about SUVs. You may try long test drive by dealers or just try your preferred car on any car rental and go for long drive before concluding.
- S3 and S5 the major difference is S3 comes with m2DICR 4 cyl 2.5 L, 4 stroke, Turbo Charged, Direct Injection, Common Rail Diesel Engine and S5 comes with mHawk 4 cylinder Engine, Variable Geometry Turbocharger with Intercooler, 4 valves per cylinder, Common Rail Direct Injection TechnologyAlso Feature wise Follow me home headlamps, Bottle and cup holders, one touch lane indicator and Fabric seats. Safety wise ABS, Seat belt reminder and few more features....
- The difference is 55.3 kW (75 bhp) @ 3200 rpm for S3, 88 kW (120 bhp) @ 4000 rpm S5. Dual Airbags, Panic brake indication, ABS, and Seat belt warning lamp
- Difference between scorpio s5 2019 & 2020
- Yes they have improved a bit but still needs better suspension
- No currently there are no such reviews for such experience
- A bit because of its size but not like the previous one
- It can be done but the cost will be 3 times the price of a Scorpio and the engine will not be able to generate enough power it would need a 4.0 liter or a 5.0 liter engine with variable turbo charger or a super chargerbut it's possible
- Contact to the customisation team of Mahindra.
- Yes. It can be done. You need to check with customisation team of Mahindra. They are directly contact in Mumbai
- We owned the original Scorpio (bought in June/July 2004) and it was a revelation for me at the time. I found it an outstanding vehicle (we had the Tata Sierra before this -'96 to 2004 - and ran that one for 8 years despite all its shortcomings) and ran it happily for 14+years, and sold it reluctantly last December. Basically because of the clamour against Diesels more than 15 years old. We drove all over the country (Mumbai to Madikeri and back, Mumbai to Goa & back several times, Mumbai to Kolkata and back, and most of all, Mumbai to Lucknow to Naukuchiatal (our home from home) and back countless times. Most of these trips we made (my wife & I), we were accompanied by our extended family of boxers, first Darth & Daisy and later Kluso & Pearl. Daisy, incidentally, won the INKC championship in Mumbai in the BOB (boxers) category in 2004. Mileage & other statistics were the last thing on our minds at the time, though I remember she gave app.10 in the city and 12-14 on the highway. Now though, after retirement, mileage is very much back on the menu! - we have the Maruti Eeco currently, with the CNG option also fitted! Our Bucephalus was metallic black ('noble black' as per M&M's literature!) and naturally we found it irresistible.
- I got Scorpio 4+in white color, it's a good suv,Milages is 12 -14 and it's depends how u drive,I love black color but at that time it was much waiting so i choose white
- Diamond white or black
- For highway sprints creta. If 5 seater is ok then creta. If you need 7 or 8 seater than scorpio is the only choice. However City driving is also a fun with scorpio's perfect gear ratios. Driving one for past 5 years no problems yet...
- Both these cars are from different segments so the comparison won't be fair. All I can say is that the Creta is just a sedan engine in a body of an SUV. The scorpio on the other hand is a beast of a SUV
- I think only if you want to drive offroad than only scorpio is better else it cannot compete creta in terms of Comfort, smoothness, features, speed pickup and many more for eg I driven Creta at 190 speed , this is not even the top speed of scorpio
- Yes it's 1999 cc engine only for metro cities can be ordered by the dealer
- Yes it's 1999cc engine for metro cities
- No, scorpio starts from 2179 cc
- Depends on what variant you are going to purchase. If you are going to buy s3 or s5 then the maintenance will be cheap as compared to s11 variant which is costly but s11 is loaded with too many features along with 4x4 option as well.
- When compared to other SUVs in the same segment, Scorpio comes with the lowest maintenance cost of Rs. 0.49/Km over a running of 1 lac km – taking into account both labor and parts cost. Compared to Scorpio, the maintenance cost per km of Creta is Rs 0.96/Km, which is double that of Scorpio! So with Scorpio you actually save Rs. 47,000/- in maintenance cost over a 3-4 yr period.
- Very economical if you stick to the maintenance routine and replace the recommended parts at recommended times.
- Scoprio S7 comes with Music system. S5 currently does not comes with music system
- Power steering ke alaba nehi hota hai
- All Scorpio variants including the S5 is equipped with Hydraulic Power Steering.
- All variants in Scorpio comes with Hydraulic Power steering
- Temporary number shayad 6 months ke liye valid hota hai rest confirm with the dealer.
- That's only in case where registration is done at the dealership
- The dealer will not allow you to take the delivery of the car..
- Yes it have a gps connectivity because of which u can do navigation
- Yes
- Yes scorpio s11 has a gps
- Terrano as good suspension, it wont unsettle you on bad roads. The scorpio has a larger engine with more torque and power. And it can seat 6-7 people quite comfortably.
- Has extra seats, rugged body
- Terrano is 1500cc engine Scorpio is 2200 cc
- Mhawk Engine. M2di is known for mileage and low pick up. mHawk feels like real scorpio as compared to m2di.
- M hawk
- MHawk

- Hi, as you are already owner of a Scorpio there is not much anything which I have to explain to u. Some of new add on are touchscreen music system. Airbag , a the jump in old Scorpio are removed n n very less maintenance cost where as new safari is not that comfortable in driving n maintenance is also high. ahead is ur wish
- Scorpio's suspension is much more robust. Safari is getting outdated and heavy, but more luxirious
- I think the only reason not to buy the Scorpio would be its suspension. Its a tad high, soft and scary at high speeds when you approach a curve on the road. In every other aspect, it a complete VFM product that very well designed and robust.
- The only weakness I have observed in Scorpio is it's bouncey n lessleg room in middle row. It's pros are air bag, touch screen, comfortable driving, price, looks, plush interior and lot of more
- Rusting, bouncy ride, body roll,
- The New Scorpio in its most powerful avatar, with 140 hp Power and 320 Nm Torque. Its enhanced low-end torque ensures a pleasurable city drive & abundant mid-range torque delivers a pleasurable highway drive, while the New 6th generation Turbo Charger makes the drive peppy and responsive all through. Its New easy shift 6-Speed Transmission allows you to optimize performance, cruise on the highways in overdrive and save fuel aswell. Hence it is Super reliable as its true blue SUV with rear wheel drive power train which is the most suitable for hilly areas.
- Excellent, climbs with full load very easily even if ac is on. You can think of over taking also while on up hill climb
- Very much reliable
- As far as SUV's are concerned. Mahindra is King is manufacturing SUV's. They have SUV starting from KUV 100. And Iconic THAR. MArazzo is latest offerings from them. Explore options and choose the right one you will use for coming days.
- Scorpio should be your choice. It has a rugged suspension thats good for the kind of roads you have mentioned.
- In my personal opinion in this budget you should buy upcoming Mahindra Scorpio getway or D max both come in your budget n are a great offroader
- S7 hi Q nai kharid lete ? because the cost will be almost half of the difference between the two variants. Also you forgot the difference of the interior door pads ( in interior of s5, doors are like maruti van omni which have metal exposed in the interior ( if your scorpio is silver in colour, then in interior silver colour will be exposed above the door pad because its not fully covered ) and in s7 you will get fully covered door pad in beige colour which will actually make you feel like you are sitting inside s7 variant.)
- The front grill cost near about 3500. The cost of music system depends on choice of brand and these u can even install rear view mirror having screen of camera just like creta. Cost of Roof rails and spoiler is still unavailable to me
- Around 1lakh without alloy wheels
- Things which will be changed are gear oil, engine oil, air filter, oil filter and few things more which will be decided by the mechanic.it will cost around 8K to 12k
- After 50k km based on wear and tear service cost is between 8k to 15k
- About 12000-15000
- Yed
- Yes
- Yes. It's available with Electric Power Assisted with tilting steering
- The New All Powerful Scorpio looks even more imposing now with a New bold front grille, New muscular alloys, New skid plate and New ORVMs with integrated side turn indicators and chrome finished fog lamps. Its redesigned tail gate with New attractive red lens LED tail lamps add to its dominating presence. It's commanding seating position, dominating road presence and abundant power, you will continue to feel like the King of the Road. The Mileage is different for all variants. The mHawk 120 HP 2WD offers 15.00 kmpl. The mHawk 140 HP 2WD offers 15.01 kmpl and mHawk 140 HP 4WD offers 14.70 kmpl. For comfort the Scorpio offers New plush faux leather interiors, New leather wrapped steering wheel & gear lever. Its new refinements result in a quieter cabin. So yes its a great buy with great value considering the scorpio is loved by millions for combining muscular styling with chassis-based all-terrain capability.
- Scorpio is very good, rugged vehicle. Can run at 3 digit speeds all along the day ( 100 to 140 ). Due to height and suspension set up it has fair amount of body roll so be careful on curves. It is tremendous puller, it can climb steep inclines very easily and effortlessly. As it is very popular it get good resale value. Comfort is one's own criteria. It's not as comfy as an innova or a sedan. Frankly even if there are 8 seats only 5 are comfortable.
- Hi Aruna. See, it's entirely about your own attitude. If you are looking for a very luxurious vehicle, scorpoi is not the one and you should opt for xuv500. But if you are looking for a combo of reasonably comfortable vehicle with a bit of rugged feel, scorpoi is the best. You would actually feel to be ruling the road. Just don't get too aggressive. For price idea of secondhand machine, refer to www.orangebookvalue.com ...have safe fun. :)

- Very impressive
- Pta na
- In my opinion both are good. But Scorpio put up to its best limits any time.. But if you are in an area that um has puddle and more like and off rode shit. THen go ith the bolero opt. The other boleros suck in front of the bolero opt. But Scorpio wins. Has more power, and has cool features until the next-gen bolero comes out. Witch Mahindra has confirmed. It gonna come out in middle June. Not sure. But yeah Scorpio wins for now.
- Among the two mentioned, Scorpio is a better one but, if you wanna explore more into offroading, nothing beats a Thar.
- If u r in hilly area go for Scorpio getway or Scorpio 4*4
- For a family, I assume there are elders too. In such case, I recommend XUV500. Scorpio with it's long forks, is more of a room on four wheels...elders might not be too comfortable on bouncy roads or long journeys
- Yes sir we can consider it as a family SUV with 3rd row space but if the passenger are not adult. Because the leg room is less for adults but for children it is fine
- Yes definitely ,even i have observed that kids love to be in the back as lot of space to play with
- It depends on where do you live and how much off roading you do. If you live in a area where you often have to go on bad roads then yes you can go for 4*4 if you live in a city and drive maximum time on a highway then S11 normal is good
- Once sold it will be treated as second hand vehicle only. But as per your needs it is better to exchange
- I live in Srinagar ,if i change it to 4x4 coz in winters kashmir gets snowfall ,will it be gud in snowy conditions ,,and also let me know if Mahindra will accept my s11 n give me 4x4
- Sir all of the model give same average. If there is a variation it could be not more than a kilometer. S7and S11 comes will Intel hybrid which improves the mileage
- Maruti Alto actually - for mileage
- Scorpio s5
- S3 model.I guess It is 75 bhp and has low power as compared to s11 which has 140 bhp so more power but less mileage. S3 model gives mileage around 13-14 kmpl on highways.
- 14 on high way12 on city road
- 907****336
- S7
- Sir these features only come in S11 previously know as s10
- S11
- Maybe.. As per you needs.. If you are living in an Urban Area, not like ours.. No need to buy 4 x 4 of if you want to show it of... Most important is that, Ground Clearance. No need 4 x 4, Scorpio has the tendency to tackle if it has the superior Ground Clearance.. Also,4 x4 is good for showing off if you have the money to buy and maintain...
- Scorpios are worst. If everything goes well, then its all good. But, once a minor problem comes, problems would keep on coming.
- 907****336
- Making full payment doesn't make any difference to the agency because they get the payment even if you purchase it on loan. For getting benefits visit different showroom and discuss it with them. Best would be to purchase it in end of financial year
- They will lower the selling price
- Ask dealers
- Depends on the variant and engine you buy
- 140 BHP and 2179 cc
- 2600 cc
- These people are bloody nuisances and it is impossible to send them a request to cancel their harrasing e-mails which pop up ALL THE TIME !
- Mujhe v3 bike lena he
- Muja 220f lena ha
- There is no requirement to be online because the maps work automatically. So don't worry about the offline or online mode
- Yes you can have pre downloaded Google maps for offline navigation bit it won't show you traffic information
- Both are good,
- Scorpio
- Scorpio
- Top model almost 20 lakhs...!!! Not worth it now. Only those who goes for looks will prefer it. One thing I won't deny is that it's fun to drive a scorpio. But one can lose its control on it after it crosses 120+ kms. If you are a budget person and still want scorpio then you can opt for lower variants like s7 or s5.
- If you like it. Then fine otherwise due to height of the car fair amount of body roll is there ( atleast in earlier models ) which makes it difficult for second and third row passengers. But the ones in front seat enjoys like anything
- Scorpio do make you stand in croud and is definitely a very very good car as it's engine is fun to drive and has good road presence but now if you are looking for SUV you can't ignore Tata Harrier ( Land Rover platform)
- Very nice, even after 5 years it moves on slightest of hint from the right foot. People do respect and give way .
- Sir when I drive Scorpio I feel that I am driving suv which have a great domination on road and even while driving it is so comfortable which cannot be explained in words
- Depends on my mood
- Mai apna Scorpio S10 de Kar exchange karna hai S11 Scorpio me Kya price ayega
- Pl contract the dealer for more information
- The exchange offer is available in Mahindra Scorpion
- No till now there is no such option
- Yes
- Absolutely the best rough vehicle for Indian roads, you will have best of both worlds luxury on the highway and a beast off the beaten track
- Sure is. No doubt about it
- Yes
- Sir the basic difference is the power of 20 BHP
- Not muchOf nearly 1-2 kmph
- Yes you can add all the features of S-cross alpha like led headlights with DRLs, auto dimming IRVM etc but paying extra amount for them. It will be a costly affair but you can go for them if you want to.
- Scorpio is only available in Manual Transmission. Its New easy shift 6-Speed Manual Transmission allows you to optimize performance, cruise on the highways in overdrive and save fuel.
- Yeh Scorpio has a automatic gear transmission.2.2litre mHawk
- It is an accessory and can be installed in any variant. Some dealers may tell it is not available on the base variant but that is false. It means they are pushing you to buy a higher variant and spend more. The core interior setup is exactly the same in all variants apart from a few changes in the dashboard and maybe rear AC vents but that should be any problem for installing a 3rd row seat.
- Yes sir it have 3 row seat if you prefer Scorpio S10 but if u ask company they can provide it for you
- Good
- Yes it is good but most of the things are not automatic
- Good
- Its easy and comfortable and reaches higher speeds like 140-160 kmph but at higher speeds it feels scary to drive a scorpio as it has a good amount of body roll and its brakes are not bad but not that good plus it is heavy so if god forbid you lost the control it will either hit somewhere or topple. Unexperienced drivers should not cross above 80 kmph till they get used to it if you are not used to driving an suv and previously driving sedans or compact cars.
- YEs.. But due to our location ie. hilly and road conditions (many potholes in 1-5 metre interval at the least).. It is Okay.. Not easy. With a road like ours, nothing is easy even a Bugatti.. or even a Mercedes, Ford, Toyota, Mitsubishi, etc.... All the top variants
- Being a big suv it can be a little difficult on the hands. You cannot compare it with a sedan that's for sure. As for comfort I think it is pretty good
- Scorpio feels expensive for what it offers. S11 is top end variant at 19 lakhs on road price. S5 is the lowest variant with very basic interior with basic door panels like how omni has. It's on road price is 12-13 lakhs. Also there's a difference in their engine specs. If you need power not worried about mileage then go for s11 or else buy s5 or s7.Also mahindra is going to launch next generation Scorpio in 2021. Google it's pic.
- Scorpio has been the undisputed King of Indian roads for the last 16 years. One of the key aspects of Scorpio’s success has been its constant evolution to remain a great value proposition while retaining its core of Power, Driving Thrill and Adventure. - Not at all. I am 5'7". But you could adjust the seat. The factors is that whether your feet can reached the pedals or not.. SO test drive before buying
- Ofcourse you can by adjusting the seat, but for final confirmation, it's better to take a test drive.
- Mahindra scorpio comes wth a adjustable steering ..so it doesn't matter if your around 5ft
- Yes, all variants of Mahindra Scorpio come equipped with hydraulic Power steering and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
- Yes it does have both these features
- Yes

- Good
- Yes it's one of the best for 6 seater.
- 1st is the best sir
- Sir if u r looking used Scorpio go for a model of 2015
- It fits all of ur requirements
- Namaskaar Suresh ji its depend on your budget . I think many features is into s10 and 11 which is not into s3 . You should visit to see all model then decide which model will perfect for your requirement?
- Scorpio s3 is not the high end model of Scorpio. If u want to purchase high end model of Scorpio then go for S11
- S6is best
- Innova is comfortable and good handling car. And scorpio is good looking and low mentanence car
- Sir if you want something exiciting then go for a Scorpio and if you want a driver driven car than best option is innova
- I hate innova i hate santro i hate 5 seater car
- Alloy wheels are made of an alloy of Aluminum and magnesium, which makes them light and strong. Normal wheels are pressed from steel and may bend if it hits some undulation hard on the road. You can use tubeless tyres on mag alloy wheels, but on regular wheels you have to use tubed tyres. Both need balancing.
- Their is no technical difference between alloy and rim both share equal weight. In alloy or rim balancing and allingment are required the difference is only in the looks
- what do you mean by local MAP ? is it India Map. Basically i have to travel from one state to another being income tax officer for which whole indian MAP is required. Please clerify
- Yes it is called Mahindra navigator
- Yes in Scorpio S10 navigation system is given but u have to upload local maps in it in which dealer can help you
- Yes
- It has a crde technology rather than crdi
- Yes
