15 to 17 kmpl and 10 to 13 if you give it beans. Talking bout drawbacks , there are only a few of them like small alloys with big sidewalls that looks weird sometimes , no reverse parking camera. Low torque for smooth pickups which eventually lowers its speed.

Q. What are the problems with KUV

After sales service is the worst of mahindra. I am facing the trouble since the day i bought this car. there was a sound of Thak Thak in the car, Mahindra took two days to check this sound and what they found is was surprisingly shocking for me. Mahindra team revealed that the some packing material have not been removed while assembling the car parts in the factory and the strip therein was making this noise and sound. Next in the row, my horn stops working, i went to the service centre (Indraprastha Wazirpur) my whole day got wasted and somehow they managed to repair the horn, while driving back to home from service centre which approx 8 to 10 kms away from my home, my horn stops working again. then on my complaint the mahindra team asked me to bring the car back but i forced them to come to my home and get this sorted. how can one go again and again to their service centre for the same problem. I asked them to replace my horn as the car being into warranty but they again repaired the same horn. Now my power window has stopped working. i dnt know if i have bought a car or a bundle of problems.................................

Car is be good but service is worst for third free service we visited the dealer we had no complaints and went only for free service but they had stolen my battery,replaced it with old leached battery, engine mount assembly was replaced with old rusted one we made complaints to toll free No but again & again they ask us to describe from first but no use.We contacted through email no response don't know what to do.

If this is going to be your first car choose some other vehicle. Every thing looks good for six month after that issues will start from pickup, mileage, suspension, noisy room. Even though facelift was done in this car, it doesn't feels and looks like good one.

NXT K8 you hear the diesel and coming from fuel driven that take getting used to but not bad inside cab. wind noise worse than engin. then it is only 1.2 engine

If you buy a petrol version there will be a little bit of noise and the diesel version will have no noise
