Contrary to what TVS claims i have found that 9 to 10 litres fills up the tank almost up to the cap ( including about 1.75 litres in reserve.) Its never a good idea to fill more. The correct way to measure your mileage is to let it come to reserve, note the km. reading, fill whatever quantity you want, and finally note the km reading exactly when the next reserve comes up. This will give you your correct mileage if you divide the kms by the litres you have filled.

In general, 10-12 percent of the overall fuel capacity is the reserved capacity of the vehicle. The TVS Apache RTR 180 features a 12 liters fuel tank and the reserved fuel capacity would be around 1.2- 1.4 liters.

    Comfortable motorcycle

The tvs apache rtr 180 is a comfortable motorcycle for its class and city riding. It offers the rider a smooth experience. It offers a good balance of performance and fuel efficiency. It boasts a 180cc engine and delivers decent performance. The company claims it can give mileage of 40-45 kmpl. The suspension system is effective and successfully absorbs most of the bumps and potholes. It offers a fairly upright seating position and reduces the chances of back pain.Though there are some downsides too as the actual mileage may be lower than the claimed figure.Engine vibrations can be felt at higher speeds and the design may be outdated for some riders.Overall it's a great bike for city riding and offers almost everything you're looking in a bike.

  • Good performer

TVS Apache RTR 180 gives great pickup and is known for the high responsive but gives vibration. It is a really awosme bike and the ride quality is very good and comes with the modern features and the mileage is around 35 to 40 kmpl. Those buyers who want more power and pickup with high performance this bike is perfect for that and for city rides it is a great bike but the brakes need more improvment. The riding positon of this bike is very comfortable and the engine is a great performer with well made suspension setup.
