First of all congratulations to u, that u buy and 220f pulsar.unfortunately Bajaj give us only single channel ABSthat mean ABS only operating on the front wheel.so if u r fast u should apply 70% pressure on front wheel and 30 % on rear wheel.if u r driving fast or slow.that is the technical answer for u. but the fact is we the people applying 60% pressure on rear wheeland 30 % pressure on front wheel.if u r fast and there is slippery surface on the road or there is sand particles. so u need to control the bike with the help of down shifting the gear. that is come down to 5 to 4 and 4 to3rd gear. and simultaneously applying the breaksas I mentioned above. so u will not sleep with u r bike.it comes with experience.my suggestion is don't drive fast as u cannot control u r bike. .drive safe Buddy

That's the clearest of answer ..we apply rear brake more ...apply both simultaneously front withindex and middle finger ..apply engine break by downshifting the gear...enjoy the grand daddy of bikes ..pulsar 220f

The formula says, 30% rear break and 70% front brake. use both brakes together with the afore mentioned pressure ratio.

  • Great bikes

One of the great bikes by bajaj in the pulsar segment.During its launch it was a real sizzler however with new technology and market demand many segments and brands are way about it now however it would still give you a rich experience.I still remember bajaj as" buland bharat ki buland tasveer - hamara bajaj".

  • Long term vehicle : Bajaj Pulsar 220 F

Having owned the Bajaj Pulsar 220 F for over three years now, I have really gotten to know the ins and outs of this bike. It is powered by a 220 cc engine with 20 PS power and it really shows its performance on highways with its thrilling acceleration. The styling is aggressive and has a charm that still turns heads. On the downside, the Pulsar 220 F is on the heavier side weighing about 160 kg which makes it a bit cumbersome in urban traffic. The mileage is not impressive either, I get about 35-40 km/l, which is less than ideal for my daily commute.
