Hero HF Deluxe Latest Updates
The HF Deluxe is one of the cheapest Hero bikes in India. Design-wise, it looks slightly more modern than the Hero Splendor Plus while being substantially more affordable than it.
Hero HF Deluxe Design : The Hero HF Deluxe comes with a conservative design. That said, the design is still relatively more modern compared to the dated Hero Splendor, especially considering the sporty graphics. The bike gets a bikini fairing and a conventionally designed fuel tank with a nifty toolbox located below. The long single-piece seat is well-cushioned and the bike gets a single-piece grab rail for the pillion.
Features of Hero HF Deluxe : Hero has equipped the top-end variant of the HF Deluxe with an idle Stop Start System. This feature shuts off the engine when it is idling for a while in traffic. It then comes back to life as soon as the clutch lever is pulled. This feature can also be turned off with the help of a switch on the right handlebar. The motorcycle features an analogue instrument cluster housing a speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge. It also gets halogen lighting, optional USB charger and a toe guard.
Hero HF Deluxe Engine : The Hero HF Deluxe is powered by a 97.2cc single-cylinder OBD2-compliant engine that churns out 8.02PS at 8000rpm and 8.05Nm at 6000rpm. The engine is paired with a 4-speed gearbox. The 100cc Hero bike uses a double-cradle frame linked to a telescopic front fork and two-step preload adjustable twin rear shock absorbers. Braking is via 130mm drums at both ends with a combined braking system. The bike rolls on 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped with 2.75-section tyres at both ends. The bike weighs 110kg for the kick-start model and 112kg for the self-start version. It gets a 9.6-litre fuel tank, and an 805mm tall seat.
Hero HF Deluxe Rivals : The Hero HF Deluxe rivals include the Bajaj Platina 100 and Honda Shine 100.
Hero HF Deluxe Variants : Staying true to the name, the base kick start variant does not get the electric starter feature. The Self Start Gold Black version is basically the same as the regular variant with self start but gets a black and gold livery. The top-end variant comes with the i3S feature that helps in extracting better mileage.

Hero HF Deluxe Expert Review
Overview:
The HF Deluxe is one of the most affordable offerings from Hero MotorCorp and design wise the bike does look quite good and even more modern when compared to other more expensive offerings like the Hero Splendor Plus. Let’s take a look at the HF Deluxe and how good the bike is overall and if you should buy it.
Design:
The HF Deluxe features a simple commuter design and has halogen headlights and turn indicators/ There’s nothing that stands out in particular and the design overall is a practical one that meets commuter needs without much hassle.
Engine, Performance & Mileage:
The HF Deluxe has a 97.2cc engine that produces 8.02PS at 8,000rpm and 8.05Nm at 6,000rpm and is paired to a 4-speed gearbox. Which is decent performance and can meet daily commuting needs, but for anything beyond that the bike will feel underpowered.
Handling & Ride Quality:
The HF Deluxe uses a double cradle frame which makes weight distribution more even and the bike is easier to handle, with a kerb weight that reaches 110 kg on the kick-start version and 112 kg for the self-start model, The bike isn’t that heavy and can be easily flicked through city traffic.
When it comes to ride quality, the telescopic front fork and two-step preload adjustable twin rear shock absorbers can easily handle most potholes and bumps. The adjustability that the rear shocks offer will come in handy if the rider feels that the stock settings are not good enough.
The bike has a seat height of 805 mm which is higher than most models.
Comfort:
When it comes to comfort the bike gets a single-piece long seat that is well cushioned and provides both the rider and pillion with adequate level of comfort and the single-piece grab rail is good enough for the pillion to hold on.
Features:
Features wise, the HF Deluxe gets an analogue instrument cluster that has a speedometer, odometer and fuel gauge Then there’s the optional USB charging port that can be installed and a toe guard.
The top-end variant of the HF Deluxe gets an idle Stop Start System which shuts off the engine when it is idling in traffic; the rider can restart the engine by pulling the clutch. The feature can be turned off using a switch on the right handlebar.
Should You Buy The Hero HF Deluxe?
The HF Deluxe is a good choice if you’re looking for a commuter that does pack a few features while being affordable, but overall the bike isn’t anything impressive and doesn’t offer any major upgrades over the competition like the Bajaj Platina 100 and Honda Shine 100.

Cruising with Simplicity: Hero HF Deluxe
The Hero HF Deluxe, after all, occupies a “believer” and “budget friend” in the commuter motorcycle category. The steering-which is quite responsive to steering input-comes with good ground clearance and a 100cc efficient engine that delivers impressive mileage. The HF Deluxe is a highly durable bike with adequately definite ergonomics to serve both long-distance rides and regular commutations. If the traditional motorbike is not adorned with the alloy wheels and digital instrument cluster like many modern reinvention does, the simple appearance and low maintenance fee are what the masses of motorcyclists are enchanted with. To sum up, the HF Deluxe is really a smart and cost-effective option for those looking for a car that can provide daily transportation without them counting on their bank accounts.

Affordable Commuter Champion
The HF Deluxe, a wannabe's hero, has won many commuters' hearts with its dependable performance, especially at the budget end. Durability of the car is confirmed by the fuel-efficient engine, the smooth ride quality, and low maintenance fees turning it to a practical and appropriate vehicle for daily drive. In regard to the design, it is the solid structure, ergonomic seats and the handling that score the highest. On the other hand, some users complain saying that although it had good brakes, they wished it had had better in suspension and added comfort on bumpy roads.
