KTM 250 Duke

  • Looks Stunning Quickshifter is really smooth Exciting yet tractable engine

Suzuki V-Strom SX

  • Has loads of visual presence and looks like a big ADV bike. Handling is impressive by ADV standards. Relaxed riding ergonomics makes it a great tourer.

KTM 250 Duke

  • Can be cramped for taller riders Slightly dull at slow speeds Inconsistent fit and finish

Suzuki V-Strom SX

  • Stiff rear suspension means off-road performance is poor. Pricing is on the higher side. Flat spot in mid range means one has to work the engine for overtakes.

Recently Asked User Questions

Q. Which is better, Suzuki V-Strom SX or Royal Enfield Himalayan?
  • Both vehicles are great in their own forte. Suzuki V-Strom SX has loads of visual presence and looks like a big ADV bike. Handling is impressive by ADV standards. Relaxed riding ergonomics make it a great tourer. On the other hand, Royal Enfield’s Himalayan offers a more engaging riding experience, but you also end up saving quite a lot of money. Himalayan has great ergonomics for touring or stand-up riding, long-travel suspension aids in brilliant off-road riding, spoked rims, and tall ground clearance, switchable ABS helps to lock the rear wheel under off-road conditions. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your city and brand accordingly for dealership details.
  • I will definitely go for Himalayan because Royal Enfiled is offering a whopping 400cc engine at lower cost like around 2.7-2.89 lakhs where as V- strom is just a 250cc engine costing around 2.6 lakhs. The didn't like the looks though.

KTM 250 Duke: Street Performer with a Few Quirks

Having owned the KTM 250 Duke for several months now, I am impressed by its urban agility and sporty design. Its lightweight frame at just 169 kg, enhances its maneuverability makes it a lot of fun to ride. The bike's suspension system absorbs bumps well, ensuring a smooth ride on most urban surfaces. Additionally, the mileage around 30 to 35 km/l is reasonable for city commutes. I appreciate the sharp, responsive brakes but the absence of cornering ABS has been a slight concern on wet roads.

create a journey of your own

My KTM 250 Duke is a street bike known for its aggressive looks, sharp handling, and punchy performance in the 250cc class. It provides a new 248.8cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Its mileage which i experienced from months is 35 kmpl which is decent for everyday rides . The 250 Duke has a sportier riding posture compared to a regular commuter bikes its riding position is very uncomfortable for my family . It generally has higher price tag compared to some competitors

    Good bike for city use

It is a fun sporty bike and is a lighter bike and the seat height is very good but it gives high vibration and the engine refinement is not that good. It gives enough space and the suspension is good but not the best and on the bad road it is not very comfortable. The handling of this bike is decent and the braking performance is actually quite nice and is a very great bike for the city and the mileage is around 35 kmpl and thel look of this bike is really nice.

meeting your needs at superb speed

Ones which are specially built bikes have always amazed me and specially Suzuki V-Strom SX. Looking at the features and specialities this bike offers, I decided to buy this vehicle last year. It was available for an affordable price in exchange of a lot of modern features. The mileage is good as provided, clean and good ground clearance and powerful engine that it comes with. My favourite feature is the smooth and comfortable ventures with this vehicle. I would definitely put this on recommendation list for others. The colour ranges are aesthetic and many sets of variants are also available.

    Excellent features

This bike has excellent braking performance and is incredibly practical and the Suzuki V Strom SX has amazing features and technology, like dual-channel ABS, Bluetooth, USB charging, LED headlights, and much more. At highway speeds, it is incredibly comfortable because to its roomy and well padded design and is reasonable price but it provides good comfort during lengthy rides. This bike has a great style and excellent suspension, however spoke wheels are missing bt this is a Suzuki adventure touring bike with good performance.

    Proud owner

I am a proud owner of vstrom 250.I’ve writing after 11k km of bike usage.Looks are subjective but i love the way it looks. Not to underestimate its 250 cc engine.I never felt it’s under powered in almost all conditions. Can have a comfortable 100-110 cruising speed. It gave me a mileage of approximately 32 if i am at 110 in highways but also got 48 average in mountains.Extremely comfortable for long ride without any accessories.Rode from kaza to delhi non stop via shimla.Only felt strain on wrist to hold on acceleration and left fingers due constant change of gear in the mountains. But it could also be because of the cold.I am surprised why it’s not sold as much.Don’t go by its cc.Take a test ride and decide.Bikes are unique. It’s not one fit for all.It the right one for your personality.I wish they come up with a 400-500 cc adventure bike. Please hear us suzuki.

    Bit higher

I drove the suzuki v-strom sx 250 a couple of weeks ago.Initially i didn't like the front look.It looks completely weird.Although the sides look amazing. When i rode it, I felt like it's not worth buying. The suspension is on the stiffer side.By the look it says that it is is an adventure tourer but we don't even feel like we are riding an bike. The suspension is a bit on the stiffer side.It is like riding a scooty.I'm 5"4 inch height and i couldn't flat foot my both the feet. The seat is a bit higher.Being 250 cc engine the price could be little lower because royal enfield offers an adventure bike called himalyan around 2.6 lakhs with a bigger engine (400 cc) than the v strom.
