    • The 250 Duke is quicker off the line, and mid-range punch is particularly strong, with performance tapering off at the top of the rev range rather expectedly. Cross 4000rpm and the motor buzzes to life, accelerating hard. On the other hand the new engine sounds calmer, less loud and more mature than the 200’s raspy sound. We are yet to test the bike for performance, but the 250 Duke feels quicker than the 200 Duke by a fair margin. In-gear acceleration is quicker – a mere twist of the throttle is required to overtake at most times thanks to its close gear ratios, courtesy the bigger rear sprocket. KTM couldn’t confirm the difference but the 250’s sprocket is bigger than the 200’s. The engine feels refined, with just a hint of vibration from the footpegs which never really got distracting. The 250 Duke also felt more relaxed and comfortable cruising at triple digit speeds, as the higher torque output lets the engine spin at lower revs than the 200 Duke at speeds of 100-120kmph, which should make it a better tourer. The 250 Duke misses out on the 390’s ride-by-wire but throttle response is quick thanks to the quick-revving engine and corners exits thanks to the response and the torquey mill are quick.     • If u dont care about latest styling go for duke 200. If u want latest styling go for Duke 250. Mileage is almost same. Duke 250 cost ~35 k more.Duke 200 has single channel ABS rear wheel can lock on hard braking. Duke 250 has dual channel ABS so no worries of wheel getting locked on hard braking. Duke 250 is heavier in weight. I bought Duke 250.

The only grouse we have with the KTM 200 Duke is its super stiff ride quality and the fact that ABS isn’t offered even as an option.
    • Bro the answer to your question is two foldIf you want superb style with committed race ergonomics go for the rc but remember that a pillion on the rc is not too comfortable so if like me u take girls or as in my case a girlfriend on your bike daily the duke 250 is perfect for you as it has both an awesome design as well as comfortable ergonomics which girls do not complain a lot about .So long story short if u have an girlfriend go for the duke 250 trust me u will thank me later or if you are into racing and supermoto style definitely go for the rc 200 also the cooling is far better on the duke 250than on the rc 200 Good luck with your bike ride safe and wear a helmet

It gets modern styling, powerful motor and top-spec cycle parts but the lack of ABS even as an option is disappointing.
