    Better not. You will get better performance and better engine with 10w40 or if you ride 100-200km at a stretch you can use 10w50.. Keep the first number 10 anyhow. If you have time go to YouTube and learn about engine oil grade. It will help you. My recommendation Motul 7100 10w40 if you have ridden 2k km or else stick to yamalube.

    I really have ridden yamaha fzs-fi v3 for last 1.5 years long, The model is too good for daily ride when the journey is between 100km/day.Riding experience for long and city drive is similarly outstanding satisfaction and specially designed and built quality and most importantly the mileage is around 60-65 even on city or highways.

    I purchased yamaha fz fi v3 black it's is very good and excellent i loved the bike there is not a single problems in bike i really loved it when we ride we don't get any back pain it's very comfortable and when you ride in 70-80 speed its very calm and smooth and mileage is really awesome as they told service is very good in yamaha and they response immediately when we reach them so first there is no issue in bike there is no vibration in bike it actually runs smooth and sales representative explained all the details before delivering thank you yamaha
