About Ola
Latest Update On Ola Scooters:
Recently, Ola Electric launched the Ola S1 X range, and the company also launched the Ola S1 Pro Gen 2 in addition to revealing details of the MoveOS 4. More importantly, the company also unveiled not one but four Ola electric bike concepts: Roadster, Cruiser, Adventure, and Diamondhead supersport. You can check out all the highlights here.
Looking ahead, expect the production version of the first of these four electric motorcycles to debut by 2024-end. Furthermore, Ola intends to introduce multiple electric cars, with the first anticipated to hit the market in 2025.
Origin:
Over twenty years ago, Bhavish Aggarwal revolutionized the ride-hailing industry in our nation with Ola. Today, Ola Electric, an offshoot of the company, has made significant strides in the electric scooter sector. After buying Dutch electric mobility company Etergo, Ola Electric completely reengineered the Etergo AppScooter, giving it significantly more performance, range and features, creating the Ola S1 Pro. This, their maiden electric scooter, was introduced in India on August 15, 2019, and swiftly gained a substantial market share in the subsequent years.
Production Facilities/Dealership Network:
Ola Electric's manufacturing facility, named 'FutureFactory,' is an enormous production plant situated in Tamil Nadu. Occupying a sprawling 500-acre space, it boasts an impressive annual production capacity of one crore two-wheelers. Ola Electric’s Gigafactory in Tamil Nadu will also be manufacturing Li-ion battery cells from 2023. Additionally, Ola Electric is committed to establishing an extensive charging infrastructure across India. They plan to set up over 1 lakh charging points in more than 400 cities, each equipped with fast chargers claiming to provide a range of 75km in just 18 minutes. While the company initially sold its e-scooters only online, it then began establishing experience centers in several cities, wherein customers can take a test ride of Ola electric scooters, and also experience the e-scooters features physically.
Greatest Hits:
Ola started off with the S1 and S1 Pro, and the duo quickly went on to become the highest-selling premium electric scooter in India.

S1 X4.2250 reviewsExploring the City with My Ola S1 X
After owning the Ola S1 X for several weeks, I have got some mixed feelings. First off, I love the price point and the fact that it offers many of the features of its elder sibling, the S1 Pro like the same digital interface and comfortable seating. The range is decent at up to 141 km, and the top speed of 95 km/hr is more than enough for urban environments. The power feels a bit limited especially if you are used to more and the build quality does not feel as robust as it could be sometimes it feels a bit lightweight when taking on potholes.

S1 Air3200 reviewsThe Eco-Friendly Commuter
It has been a few months since I switched to the Ola S1 Air for my daily commutes, opting for a greener mode of transport. This electric scooter is quite a charmer with its sleek design and digital flair, featuring a 2.5 kWh battery that promises a range of up to 101 km on a single charge. The ride is smooth, quiet and surprisingly quick for city rides. The overall build quality feels a bit underwhelming and the storage space could be better utilized. Moreover, the charging time of approximately 4.5 hours for a full battery may not suit everyone's schedule.

S1 Pro3.7642 reviewsMy Honest Take on the Ola S1 Pro
I have been using the Ola S1 Pro for three months now and I must say, it has been quite the ride. This electric scooter really stands out with its top speed of 115 km/h and an impressive range of up to 181 km on a single charge perfect for my daily commutes and occasional long rides. The acceleration is really quick, thanks to its 8.5 kW motor, which can thrust you forward with surprising speed. However,The ride can feel a bit stiff on bumpy roads and I have experienced occasional delays with the customer service responsiveness.
