Ola Electric Announces Festive Season Offers For Its Electric Scooters

Ola Electric has revised the prices for the S1 X range in India, with discounts of up to Rs 10,000. The manufacturer is also providing an 8-year/80,000km extended battery warranty for all its models at no extra cost.
The electric scooter also gets a physical key now, making it the first and only scooter in the Ola lineup with a physical key. Here is the new variant-wise price list, compared to the old prices:

With the competitive starting price of Rs 69,999 (ex-showroom Bengaluru, including EMPS), the electric scooter is more affordable than ever. This pricing will surely catch the attention of those considering other electric scooters, as well as tempt those looking at petrol scooters. The deliveries for the Ola S1 X will begin next week, from April 22, 2024.
Available in three variants: 2kWh, 3kWh and 4kWh. The electric scooter is equipped with a 2.7kW hub motor that produces 6kW peak power. Available in three variants: 2kWh, 3kWh and 4kWh. The S1 X 2kWh variant is equipped with a 2kWh battery pack, providing a range of 95km in Indian Driving Conditions (IDC) and a top speed of 85kmph. The 3kWh variant features a 3kWh battery pack, offering an IDC range of 143km and a top speed of 90kmph. As for the top-of-the-line 4kWh variant, it comes with a 4kWh battery pack, delivering an impressive 190km IDC range and a top speed of 90kmph. The charging time from 0 to 100 percent for 2kWh, 3kWh and 4kWh variants are 5 hours, 7.4 hours, and 6.5 hours, respectively.

Moreover, the Ola S1 X+ has a 3kWh battery, an IDC range of 151km and a top speed of 90kmph, it charges in 7.4 hours. The S1 X+ is available at an introductory price of Rs 84,999 for a limited period which will be increased to Rs 89,999 later.
The Ola S1 X competes against other commuter-focused electric scooters like Hero Electric Optima, Okinawa PraisePro, Ampere Magnus EX, and Ather 450S. It also poses as an electric alternative to 100-110cc petrol-powered scooters.
