Q. Which bike is better, CT 110 or Splendor Plus?
  • Both the bikes are good in their forte. Bajaj has launched the rugged-looking CT110X at Rs 55,494, making it the top-most model in the CT lineup. It features bits like thicker crash guards, a rear luggage carrier, semi-knobby tyres and a raised front mudguard. The Bajaj CT110 BS6 is available in two variants - kick start and electric start. In terms of features, the CT110 gets a braced handlebar, tank pads, colour coded rim tapes and fork gaiters. It also gets and blacked out mechanicals and a new set of graphics which adds a touch of sportiness to the bike. The bike's seat come with better cushioning and premium stitching. Powering Bajaj's entry-level motorcycle is a single-cylinder engine sourced from the Platina 110. The new BS6 motor gets a carburettor. It’s expected to generate the same power output of 8.6PS at 7,000rpm and 9.81Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm. The motor comes mated to a 4-speed transmission. Whereas, The Splendor Plus is offered in three variants: kick start with alloy wheel, self-start with alloy wheel, and self-start with i3S. You also get a couple of new paint options which differentiate it from the BS4 model. The Splendor Plus is powered by the tried-and-tested 97.2cc single-cylinder engine. It puts out 8PS and 8.05Nm, 0.36PS less than the BS4 version. Being a basic commuter motorcycle, the Splendor isn’t exactly feature-rich. You get alloy wheels as standard and the option of an electric start system and Hero’s i3S stop-start system which helps keep the bike as economical as possible. A CBS system and a preload-adjustable rear suspension come standard. Like the rest of the bike, the analogue instrument cluster is also very basic. • Both the bikes are good in their forte. Both Bajaj CT110 and Platina 110 H Gear are powered by the same 115.45cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that's tuned to produce 8.6PS at 7000rpm and 9.81Nm at 5000rpm. However, the benefits from extra gear help in improved highway fuel efficiency and also helps the engine feel unstressed. Whereas, the CT110 comes mated to a 4-speed transmission. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. Click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

It is a daily comuter bike.

It is a daily comuter bike. One of the best mileage in bajaj bikes after platina. It has good control than platina and good for carrying goods at back as well.If you travel around 90km/hr it starts vibrating like the platina. So if you need mileage then this is the bike.

    Experiencing the Bajaj CT 110X

My journey with the Bajaj CT 110X began six months ago and it has been quite the rugged companion. What really stands out is its robust build and the large, comfortable seat that ensures ease during long hours of riding. On the flip side, I find the bike slightly heavy with weight of 118 kg which affects maneuverability in tight spots. The bike could also do better with fuel efficiency, I get about 60 kmpl which is decent but not the best among its rivals. It is well suited for rural and urban settings, though potential buyers should be prepared for a slightly bulkier ride.

    Loving the Ride

I recently got my hands on the Triumph Speed 400 and I must say, it has been quite exhilarating so far. The bike has a robust 400cc engine that promises thrilling rides and enough power for any road. It handles exceptionally well all thanks to its responsive steering and stable frame. On highways, it smoothly glides and accelerates without any hiccups makes for a delightful journey. However, from my experience there are a couple of drawbacks. Firstly, the mileage is not particularly impressive, specially when compared to other bikes in this segment.
