Q. Which one is best among Ola,simple one and Bajaj chethak EC?
  • Selecting between Ola Scooter, Bajaj Chetak and Simple One would depend on certain factors such as features, budget, battery performance, etc. Bajaj has ushered in a new era of electric mobility with the Chetak electric. Its timeless appeal is only matched by its elegant style and premium fit and finish levels. The Bajaj Chetak is powered by a 4080 W BLDC Motor. The Bajaj Chetak takes 5 Hours to get fully charged its 48 V, 60.3 Ah battery and has a claimed range of 85 km/charge. If we talk about the Ola scooter then the Ola S1 is powered by an 8500 W Mid-drive IPM Motor. The Ola S1 takes 6.30 Hours to get fully charged its 3.97 kWh battery and has a claimed range of 181 km/charge. On the other hand, the Simple One then it is powered by a 4500 W Motor. The Simple One takes 1 hour 5 minutes to get fully charged its 4.8 kWh battery and has a claimed range of 236 km/charge. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before taking any final decision. You can check the dealer details here.
  • Apart from budget and performance, think of customer service which is most important. Ola does not have dedicated service centres or dealership (in Coimbatore). All subcontractors who will not respond to any query. I got standard replies from customer care - sorry for the inconvenience, issue is escalated, wait for sometime, soon will be resolved (how soon - we can't guarantee). I struggled when the mechanic (subcontractor) ordered me to come to his workshop to fix number plate. I still struggling to get my RC from another subcontractor. Think of customer service which of more important than anything else.

Q. Which scooter is better S1 or 450X?
  • Both the scooters are good in their forte. In our experience, the Ola S1 Pro has proved to be a promising scooter that could combine practicality and performance. But, there is a “but.” Sure, while quality could be better, it isn’t a deal-breaker. The unexplained drop in performance dampened the riding experience and the more subtle issue of poor throttle calibration hampers the promise of practicality and is a potential safety concern. On the other hand, Ather 450X Warp mode works like nothing we've experienced before, Quick to turn in, Offers enough range for regular commutes. Balanced chassis with good weight distribution makes the scooter extremely flickable. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Meanwhile, the S1 Pro, in addition to a bigger battery and a claimed top speed of 115kmph, also gets additional features like voice assist, hill hold control, and additional riding mode. • Hey riders siddharth here i would like to share my experience with ola service team.On 5th feb 2022 i got my ola s1 pro delivered. But unfortunately on 6th feb me and my dad met with an accident with our s1 pro because my dad applied the brake too hard (because he was not use to the disc brakes) and we fell on road due to which we got hurt and our scooter was also scratched on several parts (side panel, Front panel, Upper headlight cover panel) i was quite upset about the myths that ola is a new company and the service would be not up to the mark.On the next morning i called my brand champion billal regarding this but he asked me to call the service support number then i called customer care where he registered my complaint and said that our service executive will call you shortly. After an hour the service executive called me and asked me to send images of damaged parts and insurance policy.I sent him all the things and then after half an hour he called me and asked me to bring the scooter or get the rsa (road side assistance) but i preferred taking my scooter to the sanathal service centre.I approached them at sanathal and they collected the required documents and asked me to wait till the scooter is ready. On 12th feb they called me and said that your scooter is ready and you can take your scooter back.I was not excepting that my scooter will come within a week but it happened and the process was very smooth and fast each and every staff of service team was very professional and helpful at any point of time.I got my scooter and it was up to mark as expected. At last i would thank ola service team(sanket and akshay) and my brand champion(bilal) to co-operate and making the process flawless.

  • Ola s1 is game changer- ola electric has change the entire game by future rich technology they provide with these two newer version of scooter. In metro city there might be a bit problem of charging because of high rise and flat system but hyper charge stations comes first to them only.S1 pro promises the riding range of about 180 km on paper. As average daily commute of 22 kms for full 7 days considering we may require only max once in a week or more charging.

  • Ola s1 impressive features- ola s1 has a lot of features which includes an all-led lighting system, A massive 36-litre under-seat storage. I am worried about the build quality of the scooter. I hope it does not disappoint.
