Renault KWID Latest Updates

Renault gave the Kwid a minor set of changes in its variants and equipment list as part of the 2022 update. While the variants list has been slightly revamped (RXE, RXT 0.8L, and RXL AMT axed), the changes to the equipment list includes a new set of 14-inch dual-tone flex wheels, two new dual-tone shades (Metal Mustard and Ice cool White), two new monotone shades (Moonlight Silver and Zanskar Blue) and white accents which replace the orange accents for the top-spec Climber trim. Safety features like seat belt pretensioners and load limiter are now offered as standard.

Renault KWID Engine

Renault offers the Kwid with two petrol engine options: a 54PS/72Nm 0.8-litre engine and a 68PS/91Nm 1.0-litre unit, both paired to a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. The 1.0-litre unit also gets the option of a 5-speed AMT.

Renault KWID Variants

The Renault Kwid can be had in four broad variants: RXL, RXL (O), RXT and Climber. The 0.8-litre engine option is offered in all the variants, except the top-spec Climber. The bigger 1.0-litre unit is available with the RXL, RXT, and Climber variants along with the optional AMT gearbox.

Renault KWID Features

The hatchback features an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital instrument display with a multi-info display, manual air conditioner, front power windows, 12V charger, remote locking, and LED DRLs. Safety is covered by dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and rear parking sensors with camera.
