Skoda India to enter The Sub-4 Metre SUV Segment

Skoda India could soon make its entry in the Sub-4 Metre segment, details about which are likely to be announced on February 27. It will be based on the shortened version of the MQB-A0 IN platform. For more about the SUV, head over to our story on the same.

Mahindra Thar to get better stopping power

Scorpio N gets a new variant 

Mahindra launches the new Scorpio N Z8 Select (Read as: Z8 S), which is the entry point in the Z8 lineup and will be offered exclusively in the new Midnight Black. Punch EV to be the official vehicle for WPL

Tata Punch EV has been named as the official vehicle for the 2024 Women’s Premier League. Over the years, we have seen Tata showcase their vehicles (Harrier, Altroz and Nexon) in both IPL and WPL, this time it's the newly launched, feature loaded EV that we'll get to see in the WPL. Toyota has recalled the LC300 in India

Toyota has recalled the Land Cruiser 300 that were manufactured between February 12, 2021 and February 01, 2023. The Japanese carmaker has recalled 269 units of its flagship luxury SUV in order to reprogram its automatic transmission. Click here to know more about the recall. 

New-gen 2025 Renault Kwid has been unveiled globally as the Dacia Spring EV

Volvo cars to get new names   

Volvo has updated its naming system for the EV and plug-in hybrid models. The XC40 Recharge will now be known as the EX40, meanwhile the C40 Recharge is now called the EC40. The new names have not been introduced in India yet. To know more details on the same, click here.

Mitsubishi makes a comeback in India

‘Scorpio X’ trademarked 

Mahindra has trademarked the ‘Scorpio X’ name, this name is most likely to be used for the upcoming pickup truck based on the Scorpio N. The pickup truck concept was revealed in Cape Town in 2023.
