This week was quite interesting, and we got a good glimpse into what all upcoming bikes and scooters could be coming thanks to spy shots. We also saw some interesting launches and concepts being unveiled by big players in the two-wheeler sector. In this wrapup we have compiled a list of all the important news we saw:

The KTM E-Duke has been in the works for a while, but now we have finally managed to get a glimpse of the bike. Before this we had mostly seen renders of the bike and how it might look. The bike was spotted at the KTM Museum in Austria, and a video of the same was shared by stunt rider Rok Bagoros. The bike looks great, with the same aggressive design language that we’ve seen on the KTM Duke lineup. Performance wise it might not meet the usual KTM Duke standards, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Kawasaki India has launched the updated Ninja 300, and this time the bike has received some much needed changes. The design has now been refreshed, and the bike now takes some inspiration from Kawasaki's higher capacity offerings. Along with this, the bike now also gets a new colour scheme which looks really nice. But even with these changes, the bike’s price remains unchanged, and the Ninja 300 is the most affordable fully-faired parallel-twin bike in India.

A new variant of the TVS Jupiter 125 was launched this week, and it is called the DT SXC variant. This variant is placed below the top-end SmartXonnect variant and is priced at Rs 88,943 (ex-showroom Delhi).
It gets 2 new colours and a colour LCD console, which looks great. The two new colours feature dual tone shades, and gives the scooter a classy look. But for us, the new console is the main highlight. Compared to the split TFT setup on the SmartXonnect variant, one offered on the new variant looks much more premium.

Another interesting model we encountered this week was the Hero XPulse 160. The bike was spotted testing and, judging by the spyshots we got a decent idea of what the bike will have to offer. It has a similar design as the Hero XPulse 200 4V, with the same dual-sport styling. It will most likely be powered by the same 160cc engine as the Hero Xtreme 160R. It could mean that the brand is most probably going to discontinue the XPulse 200 4V, and here’s why we think so.

Honda India has launched the 50th Anniversary Edition of the Gold Wing, priced at Rs 39.90 lakh (ex-showroom Gurugram). This special edition of the bike is available in one single variant and is offered in one colour scheme. The Gold Wing has always been the go-to touring bike for those who wanted something that can provide unmatched comfort and good performance. The bike has some interesting features which you won’t find on any other motorcycles, here’s everything you need to know.
