It’s no secret that the new Honda two-wheelers are going to launch in India soon. The launch timelines of the bikes and the scooters were leaked a while back. Since the first vehicle of the new lineup is expected to launch in November, Honda's premium Big Wing dealerships in Pune, Mumbai and Delhi have begun taking unofficial bookings. A refundable amount of Rs 5,000 is being accepted for each of the XR 300L, XR 300 Rally and the ADV160 maxi-scooter.
Unofficial bookings are a common practice in the Indian two-wheeler market. If you've followed Indian auto launches, you know these unofficial bookings generally begin right before the official ones begin. The fact that multiple Big Wing outlets have begun unofficial bookings at the same time signals a planned rollout. For a relatively small token amount of Rs 5,000, you can now get in the queue for the three upcoming models.

Both the XR 300L and the XR 300 Rally are expected to be priced at around Rs 1.8 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price, Honda would create a direct and compelling alternative to the Hero Xpulse 210; anyone considering the Hero Xpulse 210 will want to watch this space closely. While we know that these bikes will be powered by the same engine as the (now discontinued) CB300F, full specifications for the India-spec models are yet to be confirmed.

The ADV160 scooter is expected to be priced at around Rs 1.7 lakh (ex-showroom). This means that the ADV160 will significantly sit above its key rivals, the Yamaha Aerox 155 and the Hero Xoom 160. All said and done, this scooter will be the first one in India to be E85 petrol-compatible. Just like the XR twins, its launch is expected in November 2026.
