KTM 390 Duke FAQs
390 Duke Key Highlights
Price: The 350cc KTM 390 Duke is priced at Rs 2,77,268 (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it Rs 61,733 more affordable than the 398cc version, which is now called the 390 Duke R. This price drop comes thanks to revised GST norms, allowing KTM to benefit from lower taxation on sub-350cc bikes.
Design: In terms of design, the 350cc KTM 390 Duke retains the aggressive streetfighter styling of its bigger sibling (390 Duke R), with sharp tank extensions, exposed trellis frame, and a compact tail section. The bike is offered in three colours: Electronic Orange, Atlantic Blue, and Gun Metal Grey.
Features: The 350cc KTM 390 Duke is equipped with a 5-inch TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call/SMS alerts. It also gets multiple ride modes (Street, Rain, and Track), cornering ABS, cruise control, bidirectional quickshifter, switchable traction control and dual-channel ABS (both cornering).
Engine: This Duke is powered by a 349cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which puts out 41.5PS at 8,600rpm and 33.5Nm at 7,000rpm, paired to a six-speed gearbox. While power and torque have gone down by 4.5PS and 5.5Nm respectively compared to the 398cc version (390 Duke R), the engine is expected to offer slightly improved mileage.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The Duke continues with a 43mm WP Apex USD fork and monoshock, both fully adjustable. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends, has a kerb weight of 168.3kg, ground clearance of 183mm, and fuel tank capacity of 15 litres. Braking duties are handled by a 320mm front and 240mm rear disc.
Rivals: The 350cc KTM 390 Duke rivals bikes like the TVS Apache RTR 310, Keeway K300 SF, and Yamaha MT-03. Of these, only the Yamaha bike is a twin-cylinder one.
