Same underpinnings, but the new shades make them look way sportier than before!

Kawasaki 650 and Z900 SE

The Kawasaki Z range gets a fresh update for the year 2027 in the international market. The Z650, Z900, and Z900 SE now get new colour schemes. However, other than that, the bikes remain mechanically unchanged:

Kawasaki Z650 S

The Pearl Blizzard White / Candy Lime Green is the most eye-catching shade of the three. The white bodywork keeps the bike clean and understated, while the green chassis and front fender add a bright contrast that makes the bike stand out.

The Candy Persimmon Red / Metallic Carbon Gray is one of the boldest colours, adding to the sportiness of the bike. Those who want a bold colour that makes the bike stand out can go with this shade.

The Ebony / Metallic Carbon Gray is the stealthiest-looking shade of the three. The glossy finish gives the bike a cool look, making it a good choice for those who want a sporty yet understated motorcycle.

Kawasaki Z650

The Z650 S is powered by a 649cc engine which produces 68 PS and 64 Nm. It gets a 4.3-inch TFT display and connectivity features like Bluetooth, andcall/SMS alerts. On the safety front the bike gets dual-channel ABS and traction control.

The Z900 also gets the same new colour shades as the Z650 S; it comes in Pearl Blizzard White / Candy Lime Green, Candy Persimmon Red / Metallic Carbon Gray, and Ebony / Metallic Carbon Gray. However, the top-spec Z900 SE comes in a distinctive colour combination and is sold internationally, but it is not sold in India.

The colour combination includes Metallic Matte Graphenesteel Gray, Metallic Matte Carbon Gray, and Golden Blazed Green. The golden-coloured fork adds a sporty touch to the bike. The SE variant retains premium hardware, including Brembo front brakes and a fully adjustable Öhlins suspension setup at both ends. The Z900 SE is currently sold in international markets but is not available in India.

Kawasaki Z650

Underpinning-wise, both the Z900 and Z900 SE are powered by the same 946cc inline-four engine, and it produces 124 PS and 97.4 Nm. It also gets features such as a TFT display, call and SMS alerts, turn-by-turn navigation, ABS, and traction control for added safety.

ZigSays

The Z650 S, Z900 and Z900 SE model year 2027 updates are limited to colour changes alone. The Z650 S and Z900 SE are currently sold in international markets but are not available in India. All said and done, we do hope Kawasaki brings the higher variants of both bikes in India, as they will give customers more options and allow them to choose a bike with more features and better suspension.
