The upcoming Bajaj adventure motorcycle, expected to be named the Teckker, has been spotted testing again. This time, the spy shots have revealed some new key highlights about its equipment and design. The test mule confirms key details: modern electronics and proper off-road credentials. It looks ready for touring right from the showroom.

Console and connectivity

The bike was seen with a full-colour TFT console which appears to be similar to the unit on the recently launched Pulsar N160 SS. This suggests the ADV will get some important additional features including Bluetooth for call and SMS alerts, music controls, and document storage. If you've been waiting for a more premium console in this segment, this is it. For touring, the system may also offer turn-by-turn navigation, with a Google Maps mirroring feature especially useful on long journeys. The bike will also include multiple riding modes, dual-channel ABS, and switchable traction control.

Off-Road Centric Design And Hardware

The spy shots show a design heavily inspired by enduro motorcycles. It gets a high-mounted front fender, a wide handlebar for better leverage, a single-piece seat, and an upright riding posture that supports both long-distance comfort and off-road control. If you're eyeing a bike for serious touring, those mounting points are a big win. The motorcycle also has plenty of ground clearance. A large top box was fitted to the test bike, indicating a dedicated luggage rack and mounting points for panniers will likely be offered. The bike rides on spoke wheels, appearing to be a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear setup. The test mule wore Pirelli MT 60 dual-sport tyres. Engine and core specs

An air and oil-cooled engine, similar to the one used in the Bajaj Pulsar N250 and N160 SS, powers the upcoming ADV. If you're familiar with the Pulsar N250, you'll recognize the engine's character. The bike uses an all-new platform, including a long-travel telescopic fork and a rear monoshock. Discs at both ends handle braking. Final power and torque figures for this engine are yet to be confirmed by Bajaj.

India launch and pricing

Bajaj plans to launch the Teckker ADV in India in early 2027. According to an estimate from BikeDekho, it could be priced at around Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom). Spec it next to the Hero Xpulse 210 and the value proposition becomes clear. Hints suggest the bike could debut in Brazil first, with a Bajaj executive there suggesting a potential "Christmas gift" launch. Once on sale in India, the Teckker will compete directly with rivals like the Hero Xpulse 210 and the upcoming Honda XR300L and XR300 Rally. At Rs 2 lakh, this is a strong play in the segment.
