    i own this jawa 

    i own this jawa perak and whenever i take it for a spin everyone just stares at it and asks about this bike. Amazing looks! The only problem i had with this bike is that its body always has some problems with nutshells and khatar sounds, apart from this everything is perfect. Mileage is good. Happy with it.

Jawa Motorcycles has had an eventful history in India as its bikes were sold in the country in the 1970s-80s. Not surprisingly, the brand commands a phenomenal nostalgic value in India. Classic Legends, a subsidiary of Mahindra and Mahindra, tapped into the potential of the brand by resurrecting it. In November 2018, it entered the Indian market with two bikes: a classic Jawa and a neo-retro Jawa Forty Two. In the following year, the brand launched the Perak bobber, which is the only one of its kind in the segment. While the Jawa Perak bobber is already BS6 compliant, Jawa has also launched the BS6-compliant versions of the standard Jawa and the Jawa Forty Two.
