  • Q. Recently I have purchased Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 cc bike engine and silencer was early heating condition and what is the solution?

    Hi, I recently bought the Himalayan bike. Just like you, I do noticed that the bike gets heated a lot Initially. This thing continues for about 25-30 kms and then it starts cooling down. Those initial 25-30 kms is hard to ride if we are wearing slippers or shorts. But once the first service is done, I don't see a lot of heat compared to earlier condition.

    Free flowing exhaust like PoweRage may help, check the valve clearances and oil level. It’s air cooled engine and shouldn’t be left for any time running and not riding as the air needs to pass over the engine and oil cooler to keep it cool. Check with your local Enfield garage as it may need adjusting.

    The gearshift is very good and can easily crusie this bike on the 100 to 120 kmph of speed without any problem and get very comfortable seating position. I can go with bike for many hours and is comes with dual disc and dual channel ABS and the brakes are good. On the road it feels very very stable but off the road the suspension feels stiffer side and is very stable and off road it performs fantastic and the mileage is around 25 to 30 which is very good with this heavy and powerful bike.
