The Him bs6 is a different bike than the earlier model version, it’s still a heavily bike but very well balanced. The Enfield has traditionally timed service regimen ( too often for some, but it’s a great bike) the Husqvarna is a totally different beast to the Enfield. The Enfield is a long stroke 4 stroke engine. Check the resale values in your area of the world would be my advice. I bought the Himalayan Scram and love it but it isn’t a fast bike! If a 650cc model comes out that might be faster? The 450cc water cooled RE that’s in development is supposed to be close to 50bhp which is nearer to the rest of the mid sized bikes on the market. We can only hope it’s closer to 150kg dry weight as the Himalayan is 185kg.

I have a question for you before i can answer. What is the purpose of your purchase?A- if you are planning For long distance touring and off-roading and looking for a versatile machine and not a daily commuter or streetfighter then nothing beats the Himmy in this regard. If you are looking for scrambling and bit of off roading and leisure rides or flat tracking then the Husqi is for you.
