    It is recommended to get the Himalayan serviced at 500km or in 45 days only (whichever is earlier).

    500km as the cam needs to be bedded in as well as the rest of the engine. RE probably puts in “running in oil” the service will put in 15w/50 semi synthetic oil for riding.
