Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying FZ 25
- The mileage of Yamaha FZ 25 is 50.33 kmpl. This is the claimed ARAI mileage for all the variants of FZ 25.
- The max power of Yamaha FZ 25 is 20.8 PS.
- If you are planning to buy a new bike on finance, then generally, 10 to 30 percent down payment is required on the on-road price of a bike. However, exact confirmation regarding EMI, down payment, interest, loan period and its procedure will be discussed by the bank only, as it depends upon individual eligibility. We would suggest you to get in touch with the nearest dealership to get exact information. You may click on the given link and select your city accordingly for dealership details.
- Both have their pros and cons. I faced the same confusion. I booked ns 200 then canceled it and bought Fz25. The main reason was the look. When you sit on it, it feels very premium. And also because it is made by yamaha. No one can beat yamaha in terms of engine refinement and durability of a bike. Speaking of NS 200, it has a liquid cooled engine and abs option as well. Which FZ25 Misses out. So i suggest have a test drive and then decide.I personally choose FZ25 and have really enjoyed the experience & the power of this bike.
- FZ25 Buddy... Anytimeit is more practical, better torque, better fuel efficiency, better handling, better built quality, more reliable, less vibration, more refined enginewhat else do you needtop speed - 135fuel economy - 38-44
- See if you are looking for speed and low time rides, go for NS 200. But if you are looking for that extra power and want to tour on weekends also and use the bike for extensive city riding as well, go for FZ25
- Yamaha FZ 25 is powered by a 249 cc engine. This FZ 25 engine generates a power of 20.8 PS @ 8000 rpm and a torque of 20.1 Nm @ 6000 rpm. The new motorcycle gets an LED headlamp and tail lamp. The bike’s negative LCD display shows the real-time mileage apart from the regular trove of information. Another new feature in the BS6 model is the side-stand engine cutoff function. The FZ25 BS6’s premium variant, the FZS 25, gets knuckle guards, a longer windscreen, alloy wheels in the gold finish, and more premium color options. On the other hand, The updates as expected have made the new MT-15 a better bike. It looks more premium, handles better and the addition of a few new features is welcome. But the dullness of the engine is disappointing and the lack of dual-channel ABS is just beyond any reasoning with this performance on tap. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- For the availability and the waiting period, we would suggest you to please connect with the nearest authorized dealer in your city as it depends on their stock book. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- Minimum 2 months. The dealer in Nashik says company will begin production only after January.
- As per your requirements, we'd suggest you to go with the Dominar 250. Apart from its accessible price tag, the Dominar 250 does one thing right -- it is fit to purpose. The 250cc motor may feel boring on the KTM, but it works beautifully on the Dominar especially when you combine it with its comfortable touring ergonomics. The seating stance is nearly upright with only a slight forward slant, the 800mm seat height makes for an easy reach, the wide handlebars are set fairly high and even the footpegs aren’t too rear set, making for a comfortable riding position. Moreover, you get a value for money product with Bajaj's aggressive pricing. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of performance and comfort. - There are ample options available i.e. Hero Splendor Plus, Honda Shine, TVS Raider, Bajaj Pulsar 150, Revolt RV400, Yamaha FZS-FI V3, Suzuki Gixxer, etc. Choosing one will depend on several factors such as budget, fuel type, brand preference, seating comfort, specific feature requirements, etc. Click on the given link and apply filters in order to check out [new bikes@https://www.zigwheels.com/new_bike_search.html?sortfield=popularity
- As per your requirement, we would suggest you go for TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. In the city, the RTR is just as frugal as before, however, it does burn a bit more fuel out on the highway. That’s probably because we maintained slightly higher speeds out on the highway since the motor felt more at ease, leading to it being a little less efficient. The extra performance does have a ripple effect on the refinement level, but it’s nothing alarming. If anything, the mild vibes kicking in while wringing the throttle make the bike feel more alive, which brings back memories from the older carb model -- a bike that was revered by almost everyone who rode it. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.

- The FZ25 should be good fun for weekend rides, and experienced riders will appreciate the bike’s dynamic abilities as a fast, fun-to-ride quarter-liter naked. The ride quality is supple too, and soaks up bumps and undulations well, and adds to its credentials as an able city slicker. But it lacks the underpinnings for an off-roader and would not be a suitable option for off-roading. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. The FZ25 BS6’s premium variant, the FZS 25, gets knuckle guards, a longer windscreen, alloy wheels in the gold finish, and more premium color options. On the other hand, Yamaha FZ-X is powered by a 149 cc engine. This FZ-X engine generates a power of 12.4 PS @ 7250 rpm and a torque of 13.3 Nm @ 5500 rpm. The FZ-X’s full-LCD instrument cluster is compatible with the Yamaha Y-Connect app. It gives access to SMS alerts, mileage details, last parked location, and malfunction alerts. Other notable features include a USB charging port and a side-stand engine cut-off switch. Yamaha also offers LED indicators, an engine guard, seat cover, tank grips, and chromed-out rearview mirrors as optional accessories. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.

- As of now, we have not encountered any such issue. Moreover, you would not face rust if you timely service your bike and take proper care while storing.

- Yes, Yamaha FZ 25 is anchored at both ends by disc brakes (282mm front and 220mm rear) with dual-channel ABS. FZ25 delivers 20.8PS and 20.1Nm, which is 0.1PS less and 0.1Nm more than the existing BS4 FZ 25. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork and a mono-shock.

- The riding position is similar to the FZ16 - sporty yet comfortable enough for long rides. Both rider and pillion seats are wide and offer the right amount of cushioning. They are quite comfortable and you should be able to ride 100 kilometers at a stretch without discomfort. For a better understanding of compatibility and riding comfort, we would suggest you to take a test ride. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.
- It would not be possible to fit the instrument cluster of Yamaha YZF R15 V3 on Yamaha FZ 25.
- Yamaha FZ 25 is powered by an 249cc air cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, BS6-compliant engine.
- Fz25 is designed with air & oil cooled engine. It is built with radiator to cool the oil since the engine specification doesn't need a liquid cooling.
- Yamaha FZ 25 is available in 2 different colours - Racing Blue, Metallic Black. However, in order to check its availability, we would suggest you to exchange your words with authorized dealership. Check out authorised dealership details.
- Kind of the look like that but it is a sports tourer
- Not sure about that
- Yamaha FZ 25 comes with a 5-speed gearbox. You are required to down-shift the gear lever in order to engage first gear, while the rest engages when you upshift. For more details, you may refer to the user manual of your vehicle.
- 1 down and the rest is up 1 down 4up

- Generally, the reserve fuel capacity of bikes stands at 10-12 percent of the overall fuel tank capacity. The Yamaha FZ 25 features an fuel tank of 14-liters.
- 1.5l
- Selecting between the Yamaha FZS 25 and Yamaha FZS-FI V3 would depend on certain factors such as your budget, preference of the segment, features required, usage of the bike, etc. If you are looking for a bike with smooth engine, comfortable ergonomics and good handling traits then you may opt for the FZS-FI V3. However, in nearly every aspect, except maybe ergonomics and braking, the Yamaha FZS-FI v3.0 fails to impress. While its motor offers better fuel efficiency compared to the previous-gen model, it lacks grunt. On the other hand, the FZS 25 serves as a good upgrade for those looking to trade up from their 150-180cc machines with its added dose of style and practicality and unintimidating performance. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.Read More: - Yamaha FZS FI V3 vs Yamaha FZS 25

- Yamaha FZ 250 new wiring price
- I do not think its possible because the displacement of the engines have a difference of 100cc. However you can contact the workshop for confirmation.
- No bro
- No you can wrap the bike as you like
- No

- YES
- Yamaha FZ 2 5 Stand Stand Pitting Can Not Stand With Any Cart
- It is avalible now go to showroom first
- Its available in mumbai
- Firstly you have to checkout is that screws and fitting of the headlight panel are same as fz25 bs4 version. if the panel is same then you can. But personaly i feel by changing headlight may differ the fit and finish of the bike, it may get lose or may be you will experience vibration on headlight..
- Yes you can my dealer told it will cost around 20000 inr as whole lamp, relay, wiring change.
- Can we fix fz25 bs4 headlights in fz v3?
- I had taken many long rides on my fz25 with a partner and its quite comfortable for both. pillion seat is good enough in size.whereas for weekend rides just put on the trottle and go👍👍
- Yes Mrinal,BS6 FZ25 is comfortable for riding as well as pillion sit..u love so much with great company..
- Yes..its pretty much good actually..but the prob starts at rainy seasonpillions back side will get dusty
- When will they announce you think?
- Yes, it is launched
- Only for bs6 complaint the engine have been tunned, apart that nothing have been changed
- Yes, changes are being made in the engine and some cosmetic modification.
- Yes it gets negative display
- Is there any changes in instrument console of upcoming FZ 25 BS6 motorcycle?
- Yes but not much
- No
- Yes.but there's a lot of brilliant aftermarket headlights for fz25 better than that of mt15
- Nope
- Can you share?
- Using FZ25..Its good for daily commute and trips( cruise speed approx 100).u can check gixer 250 too its better
- I have done a 1500 kms round trip on this bike, surprised by the performance of this bike.Though the horses and torque is less when compared to other bikes in this segment, the bike holds up very smooth at cruising speeds up to 115, didn't feel any vibrations. The breaking was best in class. With Good Mileage of 35kmpl at cruising speeds, well places handlebar and comfortable seat. This machine is a good buddy for touring distance at this price point. If you don't want to spend too much money, and still need a good simple bike for all your purpose go for it. If you're looking for high end torque and high pickup, and aggressive seating this might not be the right option. But still this it's a very good bike for touring.happy riding😊
- No
- Depends on your choice. I will suggest to go with Matte Black or Dark Matte Blue.
- Depends on your outlook...blue is Yamaha.. dark matte is superb
- Thats your preference
- It has a digital speedometer already. The 6 speed hearbox is doubtful tbough. The enbgine is extremely tractable and you will not notice the need for a 6th gear.
- It wont hav any changes in the gearbox. only exhaust system.
- I don't think so brother.
- Everything is possible but it will not be successful so let it be on self start only because a lot of changes has to be done in ignition and starter motor.
- Frankly, It is needed to have a Kick Start pedal. May be to cut down the cost Company did it. Incidentally Company did give at extra cost to FZS. For FZ25 it is not possible
- Frankly, It is needed to have a Kick Start pedal. May be to cut down the cost Company did it. Incidentally Company did give at extra cost to FZS. For FZ25 it is not possible
- BS6 would be compulsory starting April 2020.If you're willing to cough up the price difference, then wait for BS6. Otherwise go for BS4
- Is that possible please change Gearbox and including 6 gearbox , than see your YAMAHA fz 25 market ( full hawa ) in 2020 and 2021
- Please update in Yamaha fz250 BS4 change into BS6 and changes in speedometer and 6-gearbox
- Yes bro it is avalible now you can go to the showroom near by your location
- Yes FZ 25 is now available in BS6 norms.
- When it will be available
- A vehicle color in RC book is supposed to be the same. We are not supposed to change it. But if we need to change it in legal manner, first we need to show the bike to RTO and get the Alterations permission. And then change only color, once completed you have to take the bike for fitness check at the RTO again. And also have to put in a application for change of color in RC book. Once the RTO check the vehicle and says ok, you are good to go and you will receive the new RC book by mail in a month.
- I m not sure abt that ...But if ordered in the showroom I think the can ..!!
- No sir
- Interceptor 650 will be best decision and most comfortable because other bikes you have mentioned doesn't have a good sitting posture except Duke 390.. It may affect your back during long rides.
- Better go for interceptor 650 one of the best touring bike in planet
- Long drives and no tension of payload, go for RE Interceptor 650.
- Very very cool... At first I regret why I brought fz 250.. Because I was planned of ktm250 but due to my dad's decision I end up with fz25.. But once I went to munnar trip I just loved it.. Untill now I can feel the crazy...We all went with RE350 classic and two RC 200.But everyone keep a eye on my fz250 comparing to other bike this even used less petrol.. Even at fourth gear I drew it like crazy... Just amazing.. But untill now iam having hard gear shifting issues but I used to it
- This is perfect touring bike and I recently finished riding 2600 kms in 9 days. Has good durability and performance in hill areas, decent revs and good grip in highways. My bike is BS4 standard version and i feel I don't even require ABS. Planning to upgrade my bike with top rack, saddle setup and custom crash guard. Only draw back is I am 6 feet tall and not comfortable for tall riders.
- I went to leh with it and didn't face any problems with it. The only problem is that the ground clearence in a bit low, and generally tends to hit the breakers if you aren't slow.
- I own FZ25 2017, it is very good motorcycle, i have been to Kullu twice and did about 14 long trips on it other than daily riding. It is fantastic bike for daily riding as well as touring. Mileage varies from 32kmpl to 52kmpl. To get 52kmpl, you will not enjoy this bike. I like its quick pick up and powerful sound, maximum i have driven it is at 135 kmph. It is good bike to enjoy life.
- If you need power + handling + daily commuting go for Dominor. If you are mileage concern go for FZ25 but it's less power than Dominor .
- If it is 1.65 I suggest to go for dominor , it has more features and it almost beats fz25 in all aspects except mileage.
- For daily commute I suggest to go for fz 25 it is easy to handle low maintenance. The power and torque it delivers is more than enough for a daily commute
- Fz25 is the best easy to menure it In traffic if want more weight to handle then go for 350x
- FZ25
- Yes its worth buying bike you get a very good bike in very good price. Performance power comfort build quality, everything is very good in this bike and a Good mileage of 35-42kmpl. go for it its a wonderful machine.
- Yes ofcourse it's worth buying. You cant compare a 150/160 cc bike with 250 cc. 250 cc bikes will have more power and torque which makes your ride enthusiastic.
- Yes you can.coz fz 25 bs6 has improved riding, engine optimization and also it's good for long range riding specially pillion comfort it's better than other verient
- If your budget is 2lakhs than you have a lot of options like Yamaha FZ-25 Duke 200, 250, Bajaj Dominar, RE Thunderbird 350X and many more and Dont listen to what people say listen to what you want, If you choose Yamaha FZ25 you get a good bike in a very good price, the build quality is superb, suspension are very good, performance power is also very good looks are amazing, riding comfort on short ride as well as long rides its very good in every condition and a very good mileage of 35-40kmpl similarly Thunderbird 350X os also a very good choice. Take a test ride and decide which is good for you. Hope you make a better choice don't listen to anyone who says bad about any bike, no bike is bad every bike is good. A bike or a car is like a family member.
- If your budget is 2 lakh I suggest to go for a royal Enfield if you are a RE fan. Else you can go with fz25/dominor. Go for dominor you will love the ride
- Bro if not fz25 then go for dominar 400 but in my opinion fz25 is best bike under 2L for daily commute and occasionally touring
- Yes bro powertronic is offering ECU and quick shifter for fz25 ECU cost's 18k and quick shifter is 13k if you get powertronic only you can install quick shifter not in stock
- Yes ofcourse you can install quick shifters in FZ 25
- The matte black colour look good but needs a little more care than other colours. Matte colour need a special polish don't use the normal bike polish on Matte colour. And when the bike is dirty in mud it look really bad.. but when you wash it it will look more beautiful than other colours.
- From 10 months i am using.. gixxer 250 naked is the best alternative for that u can go for..but as you know the market value of fz are more higher than gixxer if you want to sell the bike in future fz can give you a good resale value whether gixxer not..gixxer 250 naked is a nice bike..
- As you asked about the matte colour..there is no difference in the colour after the bike gets old.. when you will wash the bike and polish it..it looks like new one there is no issue on colour whether the bike is how many years old..
- Check the engine oil bro if its need top up it Yamaha service center won't do it correctly so you ask to local mechanic if needed top up it try to hit the rev limiter for each gear I got my bike on may 23 now I have completed second service my bike is smooth as butter and I have clocked 6250kms on my bike first the same problem was there in my bike also don't worry try its once which I say it will be helpful
- Please check the settings of the RPM s***w and Use the recommended grade engine oil but of a good company like Motul and chain timer settings are disturbed in you bike so take your bike to a trusted mechanic and tell him to check the things i mentioned
- It sound rarely … you need to consult this issue with Yamaha authorised service centre
- There is no variant is Fz25 only colors
- The Dual channel ABS ONE.
- Always go for abs
- If you compare the price, I do not feel Gixxer to be better than FZ 25. If any day I would be looking for a bike of Gixxers price I would go for a Dominar 400 or a KTM 250 DUKE(slightly higher price than Gixxer) or a Himalayan. Gixxer should have been priced to compete with FZ 25. We need to compare between bikes of same rates. Gixxer doesn't offer so much more than FZ 25 to be priced so high according to me. Rest it depends on the buyer
- I have Yamaha FZ25, i like it for its stability braking efficiency and speed. It 2017 model. Now the upgraded model with ABS and improved head lamp is available. I like Yamaha FZ 25. I connot write about Gixxer as i have not driven it.
- Yamaha FZ 25 is definitely superior bike . Blue core engine is an added feather in the cap. Yamaha has more service centers compared to Suzuki. Provided it is low maintenance bike...
- Cornering is very good in this bike and control of this bike is very good. As compared with NS200 and Duke 250 its better than NS200 but not as good as Duke 250.
- Not that nice
- Its possible but kot worth it because, many changes have to be made in bike like the whole gear box will be changed timer chain has to be made according to the gear box and the space in the design is of only 5 gears so that will be affected. I will not recommended you to do any changes in the bike.
- The FZ-25 engine is best suited with a 5 speed gearbox. If you want to increase your top speed without having the 6th gear is ti change the sprocket size. Many guides are available on internet you can refer those.
- It is possible but not recommended to do and waste time
- Yamaha FZ25 comes with dual channel ABS as standard
- Abs feature is now available in the market.
- No bro you can't install
- One year. Lasts till about 3 years
- Depends on manufacturer
- Extended warranty is always better.
- Better only
- No, it will not go with the design and moreover the bolts and placement are not the same
- Yes it's is possible but you have do alterations reqierd
- You should contact the service centre or an expert Bike garage
- Everything except the tires
- Engine are covered under the part of warranty in fz 25 for 5 years
- Not sure
- I used Pulser for 8 years, bought Yamaha 3 years back. Yamaha is definitely far better. Pickup is beyond comparison. I was astonished, it superseded all bikes.
- Both you can test drive and check which suits you and go for it
- Ofcourse Yamaha FZ25 is very good for long use..
- The rear seat of FZ25 is removable, you can remove it with your bike's key and also the front seat. after that you will have to purchase a single seat with length of double seating from accessories shop for particular bike.
- No sir that's not possible
- Thats not possible
- Yes its very reliable buke but I would suggest you to go for Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 which is more reliable and durable for long tides and comfortable rides.
- Ask about Yamaha brand in out and they will say that it's is the only brand with reliable brand in the world
- For long i will only recommend royal Enfield. they are the best.
- Yes you can say that its a street fighter but best is not sure because every day there are many new bikes launched in market. but yes if you opt for a Bike then do take care of it property and ride safe, the bike will give you its best performance.
- No sry its rival Duke 250 is the best street fighter till now in 250cc range
- Brother if you want Such bike you can go with the Jawa bikes because on sports bike it will not be comfortable for women to sit. iF seating is not a problem on high seats than there are many options like FZ25R15 v3 CBRDuke 250
- Go for fz25 bro. As it also gets enough mileage and tourque. If you fix a ladies footrest you can make ladies behind comfortable. I get nearly 1000/1500 for maintenance
- No fz 25 is not good choice as pillion seat is not comfortable to sit for old lady with both legs on 1 side. i would rater ask you to go for fzs v 3.0 best machine as well and good for pillion riders
- 1.lack of the 6th gear but in city you don't know that if your in highway it will be frustrating 2.tappet noise3.no 4 valve engine 4.no liquid cooling
- It has only 5 gears. So its only good to ride in cities and on highway around 85-90. After that you ll start feeling vibrations. So if you want to chose it for daily commute, then its best option. But for long rides and touring, not the best option.
- Low top end. Motorcycle loses steam after 120km/hr.For touring, the is a lot of wind blast as it's a naked bike
- That completely depends on you. I chose FZ 25 above NS200 just because of its headlight & muscular look.
- Very good.
- It is good under the cc of 250 and best mileage😊😊
- If these 40 kms are in traffic then not recommended. You will face engine heating issues in heavy traffic. If its on an highway, you can still choose. As fz 25 will give you around 34-35 kmpl average on highways.
- Best option is FZ25 with Yamaha branch and service network you will love to travel on it. Very comfortable on long drives too
- FZ25 will be perfect for you its a wonderful machine and can use it for every purpose. Mileage is good 35-43kmpl and power and performance is also very good with impressive build quality.
- Oil cooled engine hai , engine response kafi aacha hai or aap is bike ko daily use and touring dono k liye use kar sakte hai, bike bahot hi comfortable hai or iske price range me ye best 250 cc bike hai
- I have the non abs model purchased last year. Its a air cooled engine. And works perfectly fine in traffic. I havent faced heating problems till yet.
- Tu chutiya hai kya
- Honestly, with your height, it would be difficult in a city traffic, when you stop. The bike is a little heavy but if you are a die hard fan of FZ25, I would say, go for it. After all, if you can control it, no need to worry.
- Height is a very minimal issue when it comes to riding. I have seen 5ft people riding the Himalayan and the triumph tiger. Confidence is all you need to have and you can ride any bike. And I am around 5.4ft and FZ 25 feels great.
- Nope it will not be too comfy for you.i am 6.1 ft and its comfortable for me.below 5.7 you will feel strain, pls choose different bike.
- Close your eyes and go for fz25,because maintanance, mileage and maneuvering is easy in traffic.i got 46kmpl in highways.minimum mileage i got is 32kmpl in rash rides. Now,i had done 43k in 1.5 years no problems is there in my bike.but, riyal enfield have lot issues like ignition, overheating and battery, etc.low end pickup is excellent in fz25,mid range is good, top end lacks.royal enfield doesn't have low end punch.
- Yamaha Will be better choice for you . Even maintenance and handling. RE will be good but have some maintenance issues after 10K to 15 K drive. Go for FZ if you need young look ever..
- For rides go for royal enfield Yamaha is best for it quality but if your buying royal enfield you must correctly maintain it it will give you good result
- You can install
- Fz25
- Dominar is never an option if your looking for daily 20 25 kms run. Go for FZ25. If these 20-25 kms are on highway it should give you almost 36kmpl average and in traffic around 28-30 kmpl average.
- Fz25 as it costs less also if you need to do daily commute or even weekend rides then also fz25 is good.
- Rideing around 50-100
- I have been riding this bike for almost a year. Havent faced sholder pain. But palm pain yes. While riding in traffic, when continuosly holding and releasing clutch you will face this issue. I changed the rubber on the handle. Started using a soft one. The one with yamaha written on it, is really hard and you most likely to keep getting the palm issue.
- Go and consult a good ortho doctor
- Yeah i know about the pain .use cloves , get break in-between
- It's all ready there bro go for it
- It's already released
- It's in the market
- FZ 25 is any day better in terms of mileage and maintainance compared to any RE. City mileage is between 27kmpl to 29kmpl. Highway mileage is somewhere around 32kmpl to 35kmpl.Been riding FZ 25 almost a year. Its amazing and gives you a premium feel.
- Yamaha Fz 25 is getting around 38 km/L in the city, I hope it more than 38 in high way.If you prefer sportiness it is better than classic.classic is another level and maintenance is little bit expensive.
- In city itd 35-38 and on Highiiys 39-42 KmplMileage of both bike is same but both the bike are of different platforms.
- Go to Yamaha service and shout that my speedo is not working 😂😂😂😂
- The speedometer wiring might be loose or there might be some sensor problem. Please get your bike checked at the showroom
- You can simply visit nearby service centre. And get it checked
- Fz25 max mileage is 32kmpl and with time it will become 25kmpl. i just complete my fz25 10000 km and now my mileage is just 25 kmpl no matter how you drive it always gives you the same mileage and never ever touch 127km per hr speed .... its the most worst bike i ever owned ...thanks yamaha for this kind of experience
- Don't ride very hard gentle on throttle always ride in city in 3rd or 4th gear and at 3000rpm
- Maximum mileage is 35 KMPL
- According to me, Fz 25 is a better option for city as well as long commutes. The Looks are also decent and its a smoother bike to ride as compared to RE.
- Surely go for fz25 because Iam a college student and I stay 25/30 kms away from my college. Still I get 40 avg mileage and it's gives you no feel of a lazy drive. FZ gives you always a feel of riding with complete enthusiasm.
- Yamaha FZ25 is better than Elactra but as both the bikes are of different platforms So, if you want Royal Enfield you can go for Standard 350 or Calssic 350 but please don't buy Electra.
- Pankaj Yes my I have an FZ 25 its performance it very good never faced any problem with the bike. I take care of my bike very much. If you treat your bike well it will return you best performance and mileage is between 35-42
- I ride a FZ 25 myself. It has no problems what so ever. But it is always good to wait and then buy. If suzuki can offer something better, you can go for it or else you can buy a FZ25.
- Performance of FZ25 is very good and mileage is 35-42kmpl but please if you buy any bike keep it up to date and dont do rash riding
- Actually there is no problem with fz25 instrument cluster. It has things that a basic bike needs. Only thing that I face is that time cannot be seen along with km done or live mileage. Other things are worth the money.
- It cannot be fitted in FZ25 because the design is totally different.
- No way it's not possible
- Right now u can visit the nearest showroom of yamaha u'll get it.
- It is now available in showroom.
- ABS version is available now
- It can be upgraded at garages that customise the bike. Full gearbox timers chain many things will be changed in this and will cost you a lot of money approx 20K .
- The engine can have an extra gear, however the company has not provided the same, as when I drive I feel that the 6th gear would have been a good thing..
- Till now no update about this but in future they will do I think
- Its pillion seat is good for girls but not for women who use to sit keeping both legs at one side because its Little bit Higher. you can go for RE bikes
- Daniel I had my co worker traveling with me to work and she has not found any problems. She is quite comfortable.
- It's also good for women in pillion seatbecause the 56 year old of my mother sit as well as one side ...
- I was in same confusion, although ns200 have 6 gears but it still have more vibration than fz25, yamaha fz25 is very smooth with 5 speed gears. look wise yamaha fz25 is more muscular and beautiful, exhaust sound is great. more mileage than ns 200. fz is very powerful and very good pickup. suspension is great, it's very comfortable. fz is a real value for money bike.. it's fun to ride...
- If want more performance then close your eyes and go for ns200 but lack of the 6th gear in fz25 is a problem
- FZ 25 will be the best option for you.
- Yes..But any modifications can degrade the reliability of the bike.
- It can be fitted but there will be little bit modification in that but its not worth speedometer and display of FZ25 is already very good
- No
- 5 speed transmission
- There are only 5 gears in it but still very smooth without vibration
- 5 gears
- Black is universal color in bikes
- Black
- Go for white colour and it's not matte finish
- Fz 250 best bike provide best feelable torque... So go ahead fr fz 25 ..shift of gear as much as flexible and ride quality of the bike is more stable and the brakes of yamaha are so belivable and now with more confident abs safety braking system
- I will say fz 25 is a wish choose, it has a comfortable cruiser alingment that help in long ride without back ache, good torque without any heating issue makes it a good companion in city daily rides...
- Go with Fz25 it beat for city riding as well as highway cruising
- My high is 5.8 feet and I can't step down whole leg's part means only toe is using to stand over this bike. I think you should face slight problem to stand this bike on your both legs. If you will use one side leg than it should be better.
- Yes i m 5-3 ft and it isnt that height .... But still comfortable
- Not that comfy.better mt15 better
- Jawa42 is not yet available for sell it has a long waiting list but re n fz25 both r bikes with almost same milege and usage but it depends on your preference of vintage selection or modern machinery...
- You should go for yamaha fz25 without any 2nd thought, i am using it for almost 7 months. it's a real value for money, it's transformar look is a real head turner..go for it, it's an all-rounder bike..
- Fz is totally different to RE or java. If your looking for commute on daily basis so fz is the best.
- Before Taking about the speed I'm am drove enough to answer crushing speed Yes I guess. I have done continues long rides 400km Theni to Bangalore, Bangalore to chikmagalur hills (335km) multiple times, hill riders Kodaikanal and more. So the comfortable curing speed according to me 105 to 112kmph obviously mileage 32.5kmph 90 to 100 you will have vibrations but once you start crushing above 105 engine is very refined I didn't feel much of vibration. And importantly I'm using Motul 300v 100% synthetic engine oil
- Before Taking about the cruising speed. Have I driven enough to answer cruising speed Yes I guess. I have done continuous long rides 400km Theni to Bangalore, Bangalore to chikmagalur hills (335km) multiple times, hill riders Kodaikanal and more. So the comfortable curing speed according to me is 105 to 112kmph obviously mileage will be 32.5kmph cause of speed. 98 to 105 you will have vibrations but once you start cruising above 105 engine is very refined I didn't feel much of vibrations. And importantly I'm using Motul 300v 100% synthetic engine oil. If you want mileage cruise at 80 to 90kmph you will get 40km/L
- If it's about FZ 25, cruising steadily at 60-90 kmph is very normal for the bike. You can ride for hours at that speed. Yamaha doesn't market the bike as tourer, but it's a good tourer. Positively.
- Yes FZ 25 is a very comfortable for city commutes.I also travel daily 25-30 kms up down. I have not felt any back pain till now.In rains it is good overall but only if you are in your certain speed limits.I had an road accident coz of overspeeding.Have a safe journey brother.
- Yes it is good bike , maintenance cost is high for this bike like for the 1st service i paid around 1300 rs. You can take this bike everywhere in india not in just mumbai.. though I am also mumbai residence it's a good bike for mumbai traffic.
- Great Choice sir, congratulation for choosing Yamaha. Absolutely it is amazing bike, the maintenance costs is low and the performance of the bike is very impressive also grip is spectacular.
- All Suzuki bikes follow speed and comfort along with good brakes. But yamaha only focus on speed and looks.. comfort is actually big 0
- Suzuki bikes focus on Comfort ,engine, brakes. But yamaha focus on mainly looks and speed ..no comfort
- We will talk about that when gixxer arrives in the indian market.
- First of all You have a wong assumption about mileage, FZ25 provides you a mileage of 35kmpl-40kmpl in cities whereas FZfi V3 cn provide gou a mileage of 50+kmplIf you want aggressive riding go for FZ25, if you want Decent and more comfortable riding go for FZfi V3Note: Gear shifting is little bit harder in FZ25 which may mak you uncomfortable during heavy traffics
- 150cc engine are not that good for long rides...if you are buying for city rides buy FZ Fi V3 for touring and city rides buy FZ 25
- Depends on your preference, both can be used for city ride, but fz25 is always good for a highway mile munching
- My height is 5'6 ft and I can't plant my feet flat while seating on my Fz25. You may feel Uncomfortable. So, you better go for lower seat height motorcycles, there are many options...Bajaj Avenger, Bajaj Vikrant, Yamaha Fz fi and fzs, Honda Hornet160, Suzuki Gixxer..etc.
- It is comfortable
- You may face some problems. But I suggest you to go and take a test ride.
- Yes go for it or rather for x pulse
- It's perfect for a 6 Feet human
- Just fine.
- Hello Remmy, if you are a highway rider i would suggest NS200 but you'll have to compromise with quality and the plus point will be the low price of NS200 it'll provide good power but i wouldn't recommend it for city ride as it has a 6speed gear box it'll face too many problems like heating and some problems with chainset... On the other hand i would recommend MT15 and Yamaha R15 or Duke200 but Duke is not as much comfortable... Otherwise if you want an all rounder competitor go for FZ25
- Go for FZ25 without any hesitation if you aren't a highway rider... This bike is best for city rides and it's best mileage provider(40kmpl).
- Thanks Rihaan. I have to ride on highway also . so in case of highway also what you would suggest?
- For me it's about 1140
- It's not costly
- 2000
- FZ25 goes upto 142 kmph and duke goes upto 152-153kmph
- I have touched 140 kmph, my FZ 25, 2017 model
- Duke 250 is 150kmph fz25 is 144
- Pour motul 7100 10w 40 oil runs butter smooth
- No
- No Vibration till 110Km/Hr
- Am an user of both classic 350 and fz25 royal Enfield have a different charm but fz25 is quite muscline
- What's Ur criteria to buy, the main purpose, touring ? Daily commute, speed
- This bike is also better fz25 is a good bike
- If you need dual channel abs+ little bit more power+ pillion comfort then fz25 or if these things doesn't bother you much then of course mt15 is an overall better package .Do not go for Bajaj bikes as they are known for very less reliability and sudden problems on road (even with proper maintenance)
- Thunderbird 350 for Durability, Performance MT -15, both performance n riding comfort FZ 25
- I would suggest fz25 due to it's price and features with maintenance charges and after sale service, thunderbird is a high maintenance bike but it is of different segment.
- Engine oil should be changed around 2500 to 3000 kms if you are using mineral oil and if you use semi synthetic then 4500 to 5500 kms and if fully synthetic you should change after 7000kms
- If you have money then go for it it will cost you around 1300 per litre
- Pls refer to service manual
- Yes go for it
- You will get used to it no worries.
- Yes.
- Fz25 = refined engine , low maintenance but under powered. ktm duke 200 = performance machine so maintenance is also high. apache 200 = if you want to follow the crowd go for it. Now its upto your requirements.
- Fz25
- Have gear shift indicator on instrument console of FZ25?
- Per year around 1500rs
- 1500 average
- I have done 1st service till date it's charge rs 1300
- Both are different platform bikes both are very good bikes I would suggest you to go for a test ride of both and than decide.if you are a family guy I would suggest you to go for classic 350 because on FZ 25 its not easy for our parents to sit comfortably on the back seat.
- If you like retro style with fully metal body go for Classic or you like sporty look, advanced features then go with FZ250 (note mileage per litter both bikes gives same 35 to 40)
- In order to get classy look go for enfield..rest fz has better mileage better stability better refinemnent and handling and so on and on when compared to classic 350
- FZ25 is initially fast... RS200 can't even touch FZ25 untill it reaches it's topspeed but after that RS200 starts to lead.
- Pulsar rs200
- Pulsar RS 200 is faster than fz 25 but acceleration speed is very good in fz 25
- I'm 6.1. its comfortable for me. For long rides slight knee joint pain will be there. Depends. Seating is good. Won't face any back pain.
- Yes it will be perfect and comfortable
- Yes you can for it
- Go for classic 350
- Both bikes are different type , maintenance wise fz25 is best milega wise best 36kmpl
- Ofcourse fz25 bro...aeowsm performance
- Comfort is much better in 350 as the seating position of FZ is inspired by street fighter bikes. In figures torque is better in 350 but due its weight you can't feel that torque whereas in FZ you can feel it. Anyways after some time of usage you find yourself comfortable on FZ. And power is better in FZ.
- Two bikes r so comfortable but bullet 350 is more torque & power bater than fz 25 because engine is 100cc more than fz 25
- Its very comfortable.
- City 32kmpl highway 38-40kmll
- 45 in 50-70kmph speed
- It is a street fighter bike with 250 cc engine .it gives around 35 to 40 kmpl milege
- I'm myself 5.3ft and my bike is MT 15 and before Mt its RC 200 and Pulsar NS200. You just need confidence and daring and how to control.
- Yeah bro go for it
- Little bit bike is taller than 5'5 ride... But not an issue to ride and control
- Go for FZ25 it provides excellent initial acceleration than Duke 200 coz FZ25 generate 20NM of torque and Duke200 generates less torque i.e 19.2NMFZ25 provides you a topspeed of 145KMPHDuke200 provides you a topspeed of 135KMPHComparing mileage Duke200 gives you 30-35KMPL and FZ25 gives you 35-40KMPLFZ25 is best for cities coz it has 5 speed gear box which makes it easy to handle in cities but gear shifting in FZ25 is little bit harderDuke 200 have an advantage of lesser wieghtFZ25 doesn't heats Duke200 heats too muchRepairs & maintenance is veey costly in KTMs compares to Yamahas The best choice for you will be FZ25
- If you are looking for comfort and city riding then go for fz25 but if you are looking for just raw power then Duke is more suitable
- When comes to safety fz25 is better because It has dual channel abs duke 200 only has single channel abs
Only problem is lack of 6th gear.
- Yes it is, but you need to get an additional set of aux lights and if you have more luggage, go for the saddle stay and the bags
- Yes...as good as any good cruise bike you can maintain 90 to 95 speed at highways without any vibrations.
- FZ 25 is a better option
- Fz25
- No doubt Fz 25 the new abs variant is everything we need.
- Fz25
- Of course fz 250.but no abs., but breaking system very good.
- Go with fz250, it's more fun, more torque, you'll love it..
- I have done a 1500 kms round trip on this bike, surprised by the performance of this bike.Though the horses and torque is less when compared to other bikes in this segment, the bike holds up very smooth at cruising speeds up to 115, didn't feel any vibrations. If you're looking for high end torque and high pickup, and aggressive seating this might not be the right option. But still this it's a very good bike for touring and can hit speed upto 150kmph.happy riding😊
- Nice bike for long ride but lack is 6th gear
- Yes, its the best option as the sitting posture is very comfortable and it can go upto 134 km per hour top speed.
- Well both the bikes have come from a promising brand, so differentiating them on the build quality won't be wise. The only thing i can say is that the fz25 is much more comfortable than the apache in the city as well as on the highway. And as we go onto the specs the fz offers a better torque and a lot better pickup and braking as compared to the apache. So i would recommend the fz25 over the apache 200 4v
- TVS has upped the ante in the 200cc motorcycle segment by launching the new Apache RTR 200 4V with a bunch of segment-first features. The Hosur-based two-wheeler giant has many more surprises in store for us bikers as it has just filed a trademark for the name ‘Raider,So I prefer as more value to the money with optimum performance & mileage in city
- Both of the bike's are best in their segment you are looking to good value for money bike of pure indian brand, the rtr 200 rv is better choice otherwise the fz25 is good one for you
- Do change your spark plug and air filter first through Yamaha service centre only. Because genuine Yamaha parts are really effective. Braking issue can be solved by changing your rear or both tires, as the MRF’s provide low grip but longer lifetime. If you want better grip go for Michelin’s or Pirelli’s according to your budget. Finally, no this is not possible to equip a non-ABS model with ABS.
- No bro sorry you can't able to retro fit the abs
- I own fz 25 in march 1, now milage is 38 km per leter. First time milage 27. After Third service milage will be increase.
- No doubt FZ 25. Its has the power and top required for long rides. As well the new version FZ 25 comes with dual channel ABS. While FZ S Fi comes with only single channel ABS.
- No doubt FZ 25 wider seat much more comfortable but just remember one thing get the seat a bit more recushioned.
- Fz25 bro
- No comparison...both belong to different segments as far as torque, displacement and power is concerned... fz25 is a far more torquy and powerful bike meant for regular commuting and weekend long tours....engine refinement is the best bait and mileage and the price tag is the best in quarter litre class...
- I dont really know about Gixxer but I prefer always FZ 25 or any Yamaha Bike. I have been fond of Yamaha bikes due to its comfort, pick up and looks. We dont have to only judge by looks but all other features of the bike and company is very important.
- At present gixer 250 looks good on paper
- RS 200 gives you 197 CC engine at Rs. 1,70,00, Fz25 gives you 249cc Blue Core engine at 1,40,00. Weight both 140 kgs. Fz25 engine is much quicker compared to RS200I am not downgrading Bajaj Technology but look at the brighter side, lesser money better bigger engine!
- Both bikes have almost similar performance except RS wins in the top end.... RS is a bit heavy at 164 kg but we'll planted at high speeds...Very cheap service coast ...Compare to other 200 cc bikes....Nice and easy riding position and it has a easy cruising speed of 90-- 120 which will be a stressed riding in FZ
- You can definitely go with Yamaha, I have had no problem as long as I remember. I have had the bike when it was launched in 2017. I have the Non Abs model.
- Now it's there go for it
- Its already in market
- IT IS ALREADY ON ROADS. CHECK WITH YAMAHA DEALER
- Close ur eyes and go for fz25.Highway mileage 46kmplCity mileage 32+kmphTop speed 139kmph.Best built quality ever, yamaha is smooth, reliable.Fz25 posture is excellent for touring.According to bajaj pulsar rs200,it's good for racing in highway.but it sucks alot with 6 speed gearbox we need to always change gears in city ,but fz25 have 5spped gearbox ,we can go 40kmph in 5th gear.
- Speaking of daily commuting-I would go with FZ25, mainly bcz it has better mileage compared to RS200, as well a very refined engine built by yamaha. Comparing the top speed-In this segment RS200 is far better and faster than FZ25. RS200 can speed up to 150 kmpl and FZ25 around 123 Kmpl. So if your person who travels daily in the city from ofc to home and go out on long drives once in a week or month. So FZ25 is the best option. Because our first piroity is daily commuting.
- If you want value you should go for FZ25 it's a long lasting bike... While RS200 provides you a better longrides due to 6speed gear box but the life of RS200 is not good as a Yamaha machine you'll face many technical problems in RS200 after sometime but FZ25 will not disappoint you... Further FZ25 provides more initial power while RS200 doesn't. So, the choice is yours. All the best
- Since this bike was made for daily commuting, say you can easily drive at a speed of 90- 100 with just a little vibrations around the gear. Once you cross 100 thats when you ll really start feeling the bike has started to give up. And this may well be because it misses on the 6th gear.
- In 130kmph it will be in vibration but the crusing speed of the bike is 90kmph but slightly buzz
- Max speed 115kmpl no vibrations.
- I'm a 6'2' person and i tell you that i covered 700 kms on this bike in a single day without getting any problems with the performance or the comfort the bike offers.
- If you want comfort + Power + Mileage. Definitely go for FZ25. If mileage is not your concern Comfort + Power then go for Dominor 400.
- The bike sitting position is extermely comfortable, no complaints on that. My height is 6.2. When i bought it i was concerned with the same issue. But i am glad i mad the right choice.
- Any bike which is kept up to the mark with regular service visits and the repairs from time to time would be better for the long run
- According to realbilty go for fz25 just you need a toy bike you can prefer apache 200 4v
- Fz 250.. Iam having both bike. Anyway apache is my friends.. Anyway fz is perfect
- Only self start
- No kick start
- No FZ25 does not have a kick, self start only
- I am also 5.3" im riding honda unicorn 150similar weight and height of Fz25 its really not a problem for me unless in traffic conditions with a pillion.fz 25 has better ergonomics than honda unicorn. Take a test ride with a pillion and buy it.iam also planning to buy a FZ 25.
- I would suggest you to please take a test ride of the bike and than decide if you are comfortable and can control bike easily than you can go for it. because safety comes first.
- Yeah u can ride it comfortably but the issue will be while standing still I am 5.9 5.10 It is good for me but at your height your feet wont touch ground I mean both of them.
- If you do commuting mostly and also long rides then better go for FZ 25. I'm also a college student and have purchased FZ 25 a couple of months back and my experience with the bike is really great. Coming to the service, it purely depends on which service centre you choose. Enquire about the best service centre in your city and give it there.
- If you are the one thats looking for a thrill and do more topend riding then go for fz25 as it has more pickup and topspeed and a new design. If you are only looking for mileage then go for fzs. (not so fun to ride as fz v1) Fz 25 also does justice for commuting as it gives you a mileage of 38 kmpl approx (best mileage in 250cc segment).
- FZ S --- 149 CCFZ s costs around 10500 , mileage 50 to 55 KMPLengine oil change 3000 KMsFZ 25 - 249 CC costs around 150000 , mileage 52 KMPL ( practical mileage after 1st service )engine oil change 5000 KMsgood in maintenance I suggest FZ 25 for for long term use
- Bro in scooter only we have to look for the speed below 40kmph but bike is different it has transmission in it so it comes in with RPM of the bike.we have to ride below 4000rpm in every gear but you can also hit above 100kmph but you have to gradually do it.you should not suddenly take of the bike or should not hit the top speed so you should take your bike as new born baby after 1st service we ride as we want or we also hit the top speed
- Company suggest that any vehicle should not run the bike above 50kmph till 1200-1500kms. The age of the vehicle depends upon how it runs at the beginning of purchase. So slowly exceed the speeds. When the motor is 1500km old. You can run how you wish to.
- Ride at whatever Speed you want but below 80-90. It is Important to not accelerate too hard before 1st service. The squeak sound from brakes is fine.
- It is an Oil Cooled engine assisted by Air Cooling. If you ride continuously for 200kms then the engine will definitely get heated up but not so much that it'll affect your riding (Provided that the break-in period is over).
- Nothing be happen I have ridden continusly till 500kms non stop ride Coimbatore to Chennai do't worry go for it
- Karizma rv2 stables for 300km long drive
- Which bike will be perfect for me Daily City ride Two time touring in year Main point it should live long with me at least 6 years. My choices are FZ25 & APACHE RTR 200 4V. April 2019 when Yamaha have to provide abs will they make some changes like 6th gear or something.
- If you want a bike for highway riding only then I'd suggest you to go for NS 200 as a good highway rider has the 6th gear and also optional ABS. Consider FZ 25 as a second choice as it misses on a 6th gear and it's good for city riding actually.
- Go for gixxer 250
- Recommended 150+cc but if you do get a 150 and ride with a pillion uphill through tight turns, curves and narrow roads then you will notice the lack.you cannot keep throttling uphill on first or second gear for too long on a small cc you have to rev it hard if you want to go above 55-60 while overtaking they don't have ample torque for 3rd, 4th gear etc. you cannot use these gears unless your motorcycle has adapted to the conditions given.so go for bikes like Apache rtr 200,duke 200,fz250,220f ,180 or higher displacement. it has enough torque to carry load and run without hesitation.
- Iam not sure about this thing but it will be good idea to do this
- As far as i understand , it is not possible to fit in a RC200 rear sprocket, even if you manage to fit it in , it won't help much.
- There is no monthly service cost if you maintain your bike properly. Also by time, few of your parts stops working and you need to replace. The bike comes with 2 years warranty. But servicing parts like oil filter, O ring, Air filter and engine oil dont cost much. On an average the monthly maintenance cost is limited withing a range of 400/-.
- Not in month but every 6months it will come around 1100 or 1140
- Rs. 500 / month
- It's a single cylinder bike so the performance is very balanced in nature, you can easily do 90-100 all day. I have covered long distances on this, without much of a hussle. If you want you can get the seat modified so to get more comfort. Mileage, coming to that, it has a 14 liter tank so Ona full tank you can easily get 450-500 range. Depending upon your driving. I get 34-35 in the city and on the highway 40 or better sometimes.
- Mileage you will be getting in between 35-40. It depends on the speed you drive. The pick up is flawless and ofcourse it's a yamaha bike. So the long run, build quality and service wouldn't be a problem for you
- Performance is excellent i mean the low end and mid range it kinda loosens up in the end but on Indian roads I guess 135 will be good. 😂 And yeah mileage It gives me around 35 and I mostly drive at around speeda of 100-110 so its actually pretty good.
- It all depends on the your braking. If done the correct way that is engine braking with normal braking you will never feel like abs is needed. If your the person going over the limit, braking the last second then it is always dangerous
- Not at all, try to apply both the brakes at the same time and not just one, and apply the brakes with a pause do not try to jam it. Resale would not be a problem without the Abs. Just try to maintain the bike
- Decent breaking without abs. But emergency braking is not that reliable. High chances of accident.
- City mileage is no less than 32km/L in any way. You need to check with your local dealer for on road price at Chennai. There is no vibration even at a speed of 100 km/h but beyond 100 you feel little vibration.
- City mileage is 32-35kmpl and there are no vibration in the bike. its a worth buying bike
- Yes sir it's there but if your motul 7100 10w 40 mess means I will run smooth as butter
- Yes it is good for 5.7' person fz25 is excellent bike but the main disadvantage is yamaha is not proving the bike with abs while others are provide with abs . There is no problem with driving . There are no vibrating problems while driving at speed of 90kmph .I will give 4 out of 5 rating
- As it has a low height rider seat and kerb weight is 148kg it can be handled by any person even with lean health.
- Yes its suitable, go for it.
- No bro sry not sure about that Yamaha makes the cheapest 250 cc when compared to its rival so to cost cut they din't give liquid cooled I think
- No idea as of now about the 6th gear and liquid probably it won't be upgraded. But it'll get ABS by April 2019
- It may never
- On a budget of Rs 1.5L, FZ 25 is the most suitable option available in the market fulfilling your requirement.
- Go for FZ 25
- Go for ns200
- Commuting purpose I guess FZ 25 comes first because of it's better torque and also it's a good tourer and it also looks hot🔥. If you're badly concerned about safety then go for ABS variant in RTR 200 4V Race Edition it's also a good city bike after FZ 25. My suggestion is not to go for FZ S unless budget matters to you.
- @krish_katta - will FZ25 face any problem due to non-availability of ABS? RTR 200 have two color in ABS version- White-red and Black-Red. Seeing the durability of color and look which should be preferred?
- According to your requirement FZ25 is the most suitable option. Its been awarded as the best designed bike.
- Yamaha's Breaking is excellent, coming to FZ its awesome
- Nice better than duke 250
- Breaking is ok but not perfect. There is always a chance of skid as it is not equipped with ABS.
- Now it's available bro but better go for Duke 250
- FZ25 is cheaper with almost same power as Duke 250. You can Opt for Duke 250 if spending a little bucks is not a problem for you.
- You r a speed lover you can take 250
- Zigwheel how come there is drastic decrease from city mileage of 45kmpl to highway mileage of just 31kmpl. It is believed that the mileage gets better on highway. First time I am hearing something like this.
- City mileage is around 35 but highway mileage is above 40. Engine performance is good on descent speed but produces a lots of heat on slow or very high speed.
- City mileage is not less than 35 with a normal traffic.
- Not adequate
- Not that great, in my vehicle I installed a pair of fog lights
- Light is not adequate. Still its okay to ride while its full dark.
- You ride it in 3000rpm in all the Gear and you will get the best results
- Drive your bike on constant speed, drive slow in traffic, and do not change gears instantly.
- Ask workshop manager to clean your bike's injector and take a health card from them
- Fz headlight is really dull. Pillion comfort is good for 80kms stretch. Power is less than pulser 200ns but acceleration and handling is supreme. No problem in riding and handling at 130 kmph. Better handling than other bikes. Acceleration is at par with Duke 250. Mileage is bad. If u r concerned about milege u won't be Happy. Will give 22-25kmph.
- The pillion comfort is not that good. Due higher tail and less distance between the the rear seat and rear foot pegs, it makes the pillion uncomfortable after riding 20mins only. I have never face any problem due to the headlight, it is quit good.
- Coming to headlight, when you r riding at streets you can't keep looking well, but when you r going on Highways the light is simply superb, if you r looking for mileage go for Pulsar 150
- Don't worry about the exhaust in 2019 they have rectified the problem and it as been solved you can go for it
- Where did you get this information?
- Thanks mate, so it means it is removable, right?
- Bro. I've owned this bike for around 2 years now. The bike is great and everything. Its good a good and peppy engine. Great milage considering the power it has. Extremely comfortable seats. The main downside i came across was the weak headlight unit. You could very well get an aftermarket LED fitted on it or go for fog lamps. 6th gear is a problem only when the bike is pushed hard. In normal city driving and highway runs you won't need a 6th gear. The service and maintenance cost of the bike is very less as with all Yamaha bikes. Also it is ultra reliable and won't need too many services
- Hello. The 2019 model gets dual channel Abs.
- Pros- Good pickup, Nice accelerating, Good for both city and highway driving. mileage in best with 250 cc segment and it's almost low budget bike in 250 cc also. service center available everywhere cons- Air cooled Bike, little problem in engine hitting specially on long drive and on summer season. Old and 1st model don't have ABS that's a badluck. silencer got rusted with more heat power from engine and even after repeated paint by the showroom still its again looks like iron parts. but still overall it's amazing bike
- Air and oil cooled are the same system bro fz25 has oil cooling in it
- It has a better option than the liquid cooling system visit nearby showroom
- Oil and air cooling are same
- 3 free service's. And nothing will happen to any bike unless you don't take care of it. It's a 250cc so it's easier to reach your destination that's all.
- Nothing happens do change the lubricants for every 10000 KMS
- 4 free service is available for fz25
- First, the answer is simple to give you because of the Yamaha's reliability and engine refinement. this two reasons you must have to go to long ride for any bike This is what Yamaha has achieved.the mileage in the mixed conditions is 37in highway 90 to 100 kmph you will get around 35kmpl, in city you get 39 to 40kmpl.seating comfort is decent not good you will have to do some modifications in the seat and handlebar
- As per my rides, i went long drive banglore to vijayawada via chennai non stop ride, when comes to mileage if we're riding of speed 95K KMPH it gives 30 KMPL, if we ride more than 105 the mileage based on riders using throttle, as of me at the speed of 110 i got 25 KMPL
- The bike is good for long rides but one lack is 6th gear if it's it will be very good for touring.mileage in city is 32 in highway it will be around 38.pillion seat is big and comfortable but it's like rock if your buying this add a foam seat
- The bike weighs roughly 148-150 kilograms so when you stand on it, it will almost half that amount. Now coming to your question this bike FZN250 gives about 20.9 bhp so it won't give you any difficulty trying to keep you elevated on the bike if you're going on slow speed's. But at the end it all depends on the experience of the rider. It is very light when you're riding. Therefore according to me I find the bike easy to handle.
- Yeah it's good bro go for it
- Very very good
- Yeah sir Yamaha have worked a alot in exhaust system if fz25 it is way more better than its rival
- Very good sound
- I love the sound
- Yeah bro it's there by hdt customs.for more details go and search in YouTube as hdt customs
- Yes it come with the bike when I purchased. Cheers
- Yes
- Yes its a good bike for off-road but not for extreme off-road. FZ25 is good for every purpose even off-roading also but to an extent and can also tackle extreme offroad but without a pillion.
- Its not a off road bike but it does good on offroad. but this bike does best in city and even on long tours
- Yeah but the ground clearance is the problem but it's OK
- Dominar is feature loaded if you compare it with FZ25, But if we talk about price than it can make a huge difference. Both bikes are pretty decent for city as well as long rides. And always remember one thing yamaha is far more reliable than bajaj.
- Yeah decent bike .
- Yes
- Don't ask any one better go for gixxer 250
- Pulsar 150 is good for ur budget and it has low maintenance.
- Absolutely you can go for fz25
- Hey Bishal! To answer you question, Im 5'5" tall yet ride the bike comforatbly. If you are shorter then me then yeah then it would be difficult for you as for ns200.
- Yeah fz25 has Better seat height
- Go for a test ride
- Mileage is about 31-35 KMPL (depends upon your way you drive). Until the first service the bike goes bit hard with the gears, upon completing the first service the bike goes smooth and sailing. You will love the drive. If you buy the bike, take the bike to highway most of the time in forst 1000Kms which avoids continuous gear shift and good mileage.
- Fz250 is a very good bike with better performance bike in its range with adecent mileage of 33-35KMPL (based on your driving). The bike goes bit hard as the gear shifting is hard until first service. Post that its awesome. One suggestion: If you are planing
- One suggestion : If you are planning to buy this bike, make sure you complete most of the first 1000kms on a highway for lower gear shift, with which you can expect a mileage greater then 35KMPL.
- Yes very much you can drive, with one halt. Do not stretch yourself for 500 kms. FZ can make it...
- Yes you can but don't over speed your bike
- Yes it is very comfortable for long rides
