Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Apache RTR 160
- The price which is shown on the website from different cities give an approximate idea but they do not include dealer handling charges, logistic charges, accessories charges or third party insurance. So, the final quote will be shared by the authorized dealership. We here at ZigWheels, try to get close to the on-road price by including all the basic charges like RTO, standard insurance, etc so that one can make a road map before buying a vehicle.
- In order to improve the mileage, we would suggest you ride slower. Riding fast can reduce your fuel efficiency by up to 33% if you are traveling above 60kmph. It is best to change gears appropriately and match the gear and the RPM carefully. Moreover, the figures may vary depending on your riding style, riding conditions, tyre pressure management, timely service management, etc.

- While TVS has done well in reviving the Apache RTR 160 2V with a fuel-injected motor, it could have done better by offering it new bodywork and additional features, something it has done with the Apache RTR 160 4V. On the other hand, while the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 BS6 might not have many tangible features to justify the price hike due to BS6 norms, it more than makes up for it with raw performance. In fact, it is the most powerful motorcycle in its segment, making it ideal for enthusiasts who prioritize performance over anything else. Moreover, we'd suggest you to go for Bajaj NS 160 for its raw powerful engine and capable perimeter frame. For better understanding, we would suggest you to take a test ride and then take a final decision. You can find dealers here.

- The brakes feel quite spongy, especially when riding hard on the track. The RTR’s brakes have always been weak in terms of feel and bite, and this hasn’t changed in its BS6 version. It took 42.6 metres to come at 0kmph from 80kmph. But these aspects should be perfectly acceptable on regular roads (as they have been so far), where this bike really shines. Do take a test ride in order to get better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.

- Among the two, if you are looking for a calm and comfortable bike with a reliable and refined engine, then the Honda Unicorn would be a good option. Unicorn has always been the go-to bike if you were planning to buy a 150cc commuter and with the BS6 update, the Unicorn now gets a larger 163cc fuel-injected, air-cooled engine. With the old-school styling, it still remains a well-rounded motorcycle. On the other hand, if you are looking for sporty motorcycle with bits of modern elements, then you may opt for the TVS Apache RTR 160. Given the RTR 160 2V BS6’s low pricing, it is a viable and relevant stepping stone into the 160cc segment. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. The GTT automatically increases the torque when you want to ride the bike at low speeds in city traffic. Moreover, it gets a new paint scheme Gloss Red among other options. The bike is powered by a 159.7cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which to our surprise, produces more power than before. - Apache in itself is a very comfortable bike. If you are exactly 5ft. only your toes will touch the ground but still it will be easy to maneuver. You can completely go for it. If you are newbie then you may find problem at incline but eventually you will learn to handle it.
- Height s never an issue my friend. It's same like how we learn to ride a bicycle when our foot didn't reach the ground. But if you insist then it isn't very comfortable. you must plan ahead and lean wherever you stop.

- If you drive with overspeed and try to break emergency than you can have the problem of skidding. but if you drive gentally there will be no problem.
- Yes,it skids on gravel, sand, wet muddy roads,to avoid skidding you can get better tyres or improve your braking skills
- Yes am facing in the rear tyre and tvs officials itself don't know to solve
- Well I m not as much tall as you brother,I m just 5 feet 5 inch tall and feel myself very comfortable in it.I just love to ride my Apache.I would suggest you to have test ride prior to have any final decision.
- It won't be comfortable for you on long rides. You should take a test drive first. I think pulsar is more comfortable for long heighted persons.
- Yes you would but you may also need to push back in order to get some knee at the sides of the tank area but may be a problem for the pillion
- Not much bit a little but of performance loss will be there
- Ha hoga lekin zyada nahin, mileage zyada milegi
- Yes because mileage increase hoga isi liya
- My own vehicle is completed 70k in odo and still it runs like a brand new vehicle at 4000rpm it goes at 55kmph
- Depends on how you maintain your bike.Mine is 9+ year with 0 engine maintenance.
- Depends how you handle
- IT was an good bike to use it. but i would like to give some kind of advice to protect or avoid these problems. 1) Just see all Apache bike silencer, it will be full corrode within 4 years.2) Most of the front visor panel will be fully fadeed with in 3 years.3) There will be an excessive vibration in the handle bar and visor panel during 45-55 Km/h.You just ask your friend who ever using these bikes
- Wouldn't recommend because there are newer model which are better in performance and have abs which makes your riding experience better and safe.
- Yes bro it is best bike in 160 segment i purchase this bike a few days ago
- I think they will be same then what you can do after changing it are you talking about 160-4v
- Yes but have to change the inner grill also
- No Man....
- As you are almost 5 feet yes you can gain control well and you need to lean front a bit if your hands are not long enough to reach the handles
- Its comfortable...i am license rider for apache rtr 310 so i rided all bikes of apache serie....be relax and take decision
- Yes comfortable but tip Toeing will be needed
- Pulsar 220 is totally different from Apache 160.Pulsar pickup is much higher than Apache but Apache give you good mileage with comfort n handling. Pickup is also good in its category. Both r different bikes. so u have to decide what u want.220 is performers bike with high maintenance but once u drive ull getlll big smile.Ride both of them.
- Both bikes are good at their segmentApache is 160cc and pulsar is 220Huge difference in power and mileage. For daily commute Apache is better
- Apache 160 always best dan pulsar for riding, daily commuting purpose as well as most stable.
- I want to exchange Honda hornet 160,and I want to buy new Apache 310rr
- Go the nearest dealer point and ask them....
- Contact near tvs branch
- In order to advice you appropriately, you will have to determine few things here. Such as your budget, commuting purpose like daily office usage or weekend joy rising/cruising, Bike CC segment etc.
- Just tell your needs brother. I will try to suggest a best bike at your needs.1) CC category.2) Type of bike you prefer (sport, cruiser, adventure, etc..).3) Budget.
- Go to your preferred dealership and ask for any exchange programs.
- Yes agree with abhishek. tvs is a good bike.. maintain it n it wl do wonders for u. m using it for past last 9yrs
- Yes brother vibration can be decreases by using a good quality engine oil rather than tvs oil.
- No....but it depends on ur maintaining d bike
- Both the bikes have different characteristics older model is more aggressive both in terms of riding posture and power delivery i am not saying that newer model is less powerful but my intesion is to tell you that it is more refined and linear in power delivery and newer model has wide handlebars and older model have clipons and rest is based on your preference like which bike's looks appeal you more and what is your budget as older model is considerably cheaper you can get any of them as i have used rtr 160 for 1 year and i have tested my friends new rtr 160 4v and found that newer model is considerably more refined but it misses on raw aggression of older model so chaos for your new bike you can't go wrong with any of them but beware of vibes on rtr 160
- Yes it is....as i m 6.1 Ft and i have licensed rider for tvs
- Yes, it suits a person above height of 6 ft
- Buy apache 1604v sporty experience and also good mileage around 50 to 57kmpl on highway 45 to 50kmpl in urban traffics
- Once try for bullet 350 a very good looking and good resale value
- Pulsar 150 is good for mileage and looking alsooo.
- Never bro since 6years i never got any problem and dis bikes has really less maintenance cost.
- Apache 160 and 200 are handling problemBecause this bike turning is not good.
- Yes it does have vibration problem
- Apache RTR 160 4V is the upgraded version of RTR 160 and RTR 160 4V have new looks, better power then RTR 160.
- Go for apache fuel injector version. Compare it with all types of available bikes in india. You'll definitely find that Apache is unbeatable.More that 50+ millage with 16+ bhp power is only possible with apache.
- If you really need sports bike then Apache is better than pulser. But for market value bullet is best. Second choice is Apache
- I m paying Rs.800 for every service interval of 3500 km for 2010 model. Rtr 160 4v will come almost similar to that bt beware of roadside mechanics as they don't have complete knowledge of repairs. Time is changing so go for latest model. About mileage regular rtr160 will give you more mileage near 45-50 kmpl while 160 4V give you around 35 kmpl. Take a test drive.
- 160 is best on lowest maintenance and machanically performance
- Same maintenance cost
- If you want to spend more than 1 lakh go with R15,fz,pulsar 220,dont purchase apache because spare parts also 2 much cost and every year i spent 6 to 8k for repair worst bike starting 1 to 2 yrs it will be normal after that it starts repairs
- Even in sierra leone there is no spare parts and the available ones are so expensive. Worse bike in the market
- For mileage go for 160, 160 4v won't give you more mileage than normal 160
- Visit showroom and testdrive the vehicles based on your budget so that you can get an idea about the particular vehicle which you want to buy and post a question so that we can give our views about that particular bike....all the best for your new vehicle....
- Various to know visit nearby showroom
- Apache 160 4v
- You can buy Apache RTR 160. It's good for ride. you will enjoy Apache RTR 160
- Don't vest your money Plz go in purchasing Honda shine in good milege
- Go for bullet a very good resale value and better looking
- Contact near tvs branch
- Go to showroom
- Don't know
- Yes it is perfect choice.
- Yes
- Yes best in its segment
- The TVS Apache 160 variant has a top speed of about 120 km/hr at about 9000 rpm producing peak performance. Anything beyond that is just revving and destabilises the vehicle.
- I recorded it as 115km/hr
- 117kmph in normal run and 134kmph while tuning done but it is waste of fuel and it also impacts vehicals life.
- I want to exchange.my Rtr 160 just new only 1000km run red in Bule
- Yes exchange offer hota hai contact to the nearest TV's agency
- Yes I want to exchange.my Rtr 160 just new only 3000km run red in colour
- Apachee 160
- Pulsar 150
- Rtr
- Haa ho to jayega lekin ye galat h....aap 3 mahine ya usse jyada din tak bhi nhi denge to koi prob nhi h...bt aisa nhi karni chaiye
- Ye apne jis showroom se purchse kiya hai.. Wo apko better tarike se bta skte hai
- Wo to finance company pe depend krta hai ke woh kab se lega.
- Bro Apache have rough and tough like feel but pulsar for comfort but Apache 160 is good at performance
- Yes Sure, the seating position is suitable for short people also.please you go to take some test drive.
- Yes it is one of my friend is of same height and he owns apache rtr 160
- It may give you a little bit problem in long drives but if you not go for long drives you can consider it
- No
- No
- Which one is better for Daily use RTR 160 4v & RTR 160 2 V Any one Please Reply me
- Apache RTR 160 4v is the best in terms of performance and maintenance and weight is around 137kgs and pulsar weight is 145kgs
- New Apache is different. both r good bt riding dynamics r different. mileage is also similar.
- Engine checking, tuning, proper fuel, riding with proper gear ratio
- Clean the carb and maintain the bike in good condition if still you are facing an issue then go to showroom and let them fix it
- 50
- 5.I am using very roughly also with k&n filter.I am getting 48 in city and 55 on highway.
- 1 up 4 down
- 5 gears
- Apache is cheap and best beast on which you can rely...I will say there is no problem in long rides handling is perfect ..the only con is dat pilion will not be comfortable for long rides to avoid dat u can alter cushion ..n ya engine produce decent power so u will enjoy ride....the only thing u need to worry is chain sprocket after 4to5 k KM's u have to change I hope this satisfies your questions...atlast m riding Apache since 9yrs no issues the engine is still now good I have done each service in time
- No, it is good for long drive you don't have any problems in long drive. It's good in handling
- No, it is good for long drive you don't have any problems in long drive. It's good in handling.
- Definitely bro, i travelled 350 km in one day.bus aapko non stop chalane ke baad rest dena padega bike ko vrna hota yeh hai ki aap non stop chalane ke baad aap jab bhi bike chalaoge to aeisa feel hoga jaise bhadke huye sand ke uper baith gye ho.200km ke baad kmsekam one night or half day ka rest jaroori hai uske baad to bike as always makkhan ki tarah chalegi.kyuki rest nhi doge to bike ki awaaj hi change ho jayegi or rest dene ke baad normal ho jaati hai
- No. It is air cooled engine. You cannot cruise. Engine will be affected. Mileage will also affect. I did 350 km once, mileage dropped like anything. If you are looking for very long drives check out oil cooled engines and cruiser bikes like avenger, which has relaxed sitting position.
- And i travel 110 km daily .or meri bike sahi salamat hai aavi bhi
- Dual disc
- All r good depends on ur affordability. My suggestion wait for 6 months n u'll get best Apache.
- Brother life is more important opposite of money so plz buy a abs veriant
- Its comfortable for all persons irrespective of their heights
- May be. I am 5.7 ft and I find its height as too low for me. Better have a test drive. Otherwise you may feel uncomfortable later like me
- Yes it is , you will look handsome on it
- Can do but it will be strainus
- Sure the beast is capable of run dat distance ...it's upon u how u really riding posture n skills are...
- When i want to jaipur i ride 250 km nonstop i love My Apache 160
- It is upto you that which bikes connects with you and which suits you better
- I would suggest you to buy rtr160 it's complete package...if u don't consider vibration a bit At 65+kmph services are affordable both milage and sporty
- No doubt it’s yamaha fz..suitable for u..
- There are so many rival bikes in this segment for pulsar but if you want overall performance and trustworthy bike then go for any series of pulsar....(Neon, single disc or twin disc) easy to maintain also....
- Apache rtr160 not 4v because 4v has a split seat styling that looks good but not as comfortable as the Seat of RTR 160 it's mileage is also good
- Check Xtreme 160R . Its all LED. Light weight, very good pickup. Good mileage about 48-50 KM/Ltr.
- First of all, check that the air in your tires is fine or not, then maintain a speed, use Kilich brake less, then you will get the mileage you are looking for and the weight should be less, with you the bag weight should not be too much.
- I have 160 since last 8 year it’s milage near about 55-59 without any issue nd also vary on ur driving skills..
- No u can expect maximum 55 if u maintain ur bike properly
- According to my 160rtr it has 58 to 59 kmpl nd 180 rtr has 32 to 35 kmpl. Also depends on road conditions nd driving skills.
- RTR 160 gives 45 to 50 and RTR 180 is 40 to 45. Mileage is mostly depended on your driving style
- 160
- Don't do non stop stretch of 600 Kms with a 160cc engine maximum you can do non stop stretch of 150kms by cruising in between 80 to 100. As it is a air cooled engine you should give a minimum of half an hour break after cruising 150kms non stop or else you can choose higher models like RR 310 then you can easily cruise at 120kmph non stop.
- Speed can variate depending upon the roads but you can go for 600 km , if you have the stamina to drive in continuity, I have done 210 km without stopping..and speed max driven was 132 with gears but cruising speed good will be approximate 80-100..
- I did almost 350 km non stop ride. bike had no problem with that but definitely it was pain for me for last stretch
- You are not mention cc but100 cc Hero splender+ ,125cc honda shine160 rtr
- Honda bikes nd yamha r best for yur search
- I found tvs bikes requires low maintainence and low maintainence cost comparison to other bikes available in the market.
- You feel shoulder pain only when you keep your elbows straight for so much time...the older Apache has sporty riding position same as r15 so you need to bend elbows a little bit then you will not feel any shoulder pain and if you want a sitting position same as pulsars then you can go for new Apache RTR 160-4v first do a test ride then you can understand this easily.... happy riding
- The shoulder pain is observed when either the posture or the handle of bike is improper, basically a bit tilted handle.
- It's due to pressure on any one side of Handel........on any side
- The power and torque have been reduced in the BS 6 version. The look has been facelifted and gives more premium feel to the machine. Headlight is upgraded from halogen to full LED which has better luminance. There is no carburetor variant in BS6 as Fi is kept standard. Price for dual disc variant has got up by around 8000. Exhaust has been made more crispier which resembles to KTM. The electric start mechanism has improved, you hear almost no motor noise on pressing the start button. The engine is more tuned to race and RTFi (race tuned fuel injection) has been added. Overall BS6 variant is 30-40% better
- It don't have any more change in bs4 you get blackish light in speedometer and now you will get the blue light the major change in the bike is it's bs6 engine and some little amount of cut and sketch to give the more sporty look to the bike and no more.
- BsVI models launched after April ,2020. Changes like carburettor get replace by fuel injector catalic converter to reduce smoke . Abs is mandatory for all bikes.I have this model already.
- Apache RTR160 4v is a fabulous machine.. the most refined in its category and also more powerful than most of its competitors comfortable and also very good bike for daily commute and fast commutes😜
- Ofcourse apache rtr 160 is comfortable in all conditions
- What's your budget.Then i will suggest you.
- Dame sure the short hide rider also Love this bike and very comfortable rideing for us...Thank you so much TVS Company and such a good opportunity for the rider...
- Yes
- Yes
- Yes u can drive it smoothly and comfortably
- Yes no problem
- Yes you can.
- Yes it ll suit you be confident and this bike ll enhance your personality.
- As you said you are heavy then you can go for RTR 160 4v without any second thought,it looks better and also value for money.
- Off course brother because my weight is also 92 kg.
- Apache will give you value for money, reliable engine and low maintenance cost all other bikes are upgraded on looks this is my opinion you can choose wisely.... according to your requirements
- Rtr 160
- Noo need to thnk for single second,, ill choose TVS Apache RTR 160,
- If you want a full faired bike but not concerned about mileage then you can go for pulsar 180f but if you want a mileage and reliable engine and n***d sports then you can go for RTR 160-4v or a simply superb old Apache also make you feel better.....
- Rtr 160 is the best always
- Rtr
- There are vibrations in Apache RTR 160(not talking about 160 4v). But that is signature of Apache franchise
- Still it have vibration on bs4 but much better than bs3 i suggest you you try (mos2 liquimoly oiladiative)
- Yes. Company itself don't know y this bike is vibrating.
- As you said while riding pulsar you will get back problem same as that while riding Apache also you will get back problem because Apache has a sporty riding position only thing is you need to do is get habituated to it then you can overcome back pain and also with Apache you can simply twist the bike in traffic without any complaints.
- Apache filters nicely through traffic but the sporty riding posture is not really recommended for those having back problem.
- Mileage is good enough, you will get around 55-57kmpl in highway, and around 46-48kmpl in city. Vibration mainly occur between 50-65km/h. After that when you rev more. then you will be knowing the actual power of your RTR. And vibration disappear a little bit. And yes it is good for family use. May be you are already knowing, that it is a commuter bike.
- My apche gives me about 43 in city use and in highway it gives me about 50 vibration do occurs after 7600 rpm or u can say 75 plus speed on 5 th gear .yes it is good with family use my grandmother do not have any problem traveling with me
- The mileage will be around 45 and the vibrations occur at 5 to 6 rpm and after that not much vibration we can tolerate and this data is for old model not for new better go for old model this is my opinion....
- You can go for Apache abs version then you can ride safely for years with less maintenance
- I have drive pulsar 150 old modle and apache rtr160 .i will prefer apache rtr160
- RTR 160 is the best in white..
- Apache is best suitable for shorter guys!!! (i am 6" 1' !!! still no big issue while riding but sitting in pillion can clearly understand the ride is better for shorter guys) So, go for it!!!
- Yes ... no problem .... the front seat has a lower height
- Its ok you can have it
- Go for Apache RTR 160 with Rear Disc. maintenance cost is reasonable. and mileage is also good as compare to Pulsar. I Am owning my apache from since 2014. around 5 years is getting. and still my apache never disappointed me. 😂😂😂😂
- I'd say you get the APACHE. It has better handling because of the better weight distribution. And the RTR also sounds better than the PULSAR.
- Apache RTR 160 because it's handle is more closer than pulsar that give perfect balance in high speed or when you use break suddenly.
- YA
- You can use but you need to remove chain guard and mileage will get impact
- TVs Apache RTR 160 bike is road king
- If your budget is 1.25 lakhs then you should compare RTR 200 4v and r15v3 and coming to RTR 160-4v then it is better when you look for mileage, decent speed and looks...make a better choice based on your budget.
- R15 but there is so much vary in price 84000/- for apache and 125000 for r15 there is no comparision between both bikes, so if you are comparing 2 thing there must be equal in some aspects.
- In speed and looks no one better then R15 v3 in this segment.but in terms of milage RTR 160 4V is good.
- Rtr
- If you love Apache you can go for it but if you want a fi engine then you can go for fz
- Both or good in own way. but in terms of power and looks rtr 160 is better.
- FZ Fi : 1. Better comfort. LED headlight. Reliable Yamaha performance. Wider rear tyreApache 160 4v:1. Better power and torque figures. Dominant dual barrel exhaust. More detailed instrument cluster. Petal disc brake. Comes in both carb and Fi variant(BS 6 has no carb variant)
- Both r good. Difference is between mileage n maintenance cost. Apache is good in terms of maintenance.
- If Power Needed Than Go For FZ GIValue For Money Is Apache
- My RTR 160 ... Had run 60k+ still it giving me 58+ kmpl... Based on petrol quality.... Maximum I got 64.. no problem in engine, and parts...
- Only in terms of milage pulsar 150 is best.Apache milage around 40 kmpl and pulsar milage around 45+ kmpl
- Apache
- A re bhai mast gaari hai... Kum petrol me itti achi performance.. Sporty looks & engine sound.. Comfortable riding posture & handling... No heating issues.... So go for it... But meri ek suggestion hai bike lo toh abs wali hi loI think if want the same looks then u should go for apache 180 rtr with dual channel ABS 😊
- Best in 160 category.
- Apache 160 RTR is best. Sporty look, Nice Ride, great pickup, head turner, long lasting without complaints.
- There is all special in digital cluster meter 1) time2) trip A and B3) Highest Speed you drawn 4) 0 - 60 in how much sec 5) service reminder light6) and low fuel7) mileage is out standing8) suspension is best amongst all
- Probably the ABS variant
- Decent looks with decent mileage
- YES ...!! Because bs3 variant model has been discontinued. All bike are coming with BS4
- RTR 160 IS NOT BS4 BUT RTR 160 4V AND AFTER THAT ALL VARIENT IS BS4
- He is asking about BS6 and everyone is telling about BS4
- My apache 160 is 10 years old. But I have maintained it in best way. Still it got no problem. I fixed new battety, new shockers, new seat n all. Now I'm nearing middle age, I d like to exchange it with TVS Ntorq.
- My apachi is 5 year old but it's maintened new tyre , new soccers it's totaly looking new bike , colour is white and my and my problem is colour so I exchange this bike and buy new met blue apachi rtr 160
- Why are you questioning here about exchange offer? Are we the dealership of TVS? Go your nearest TVS dealership and ask them about your query.
- Bs4
- Present Apache RTR 160 Bike is BS4..
- Is it available RTR 160 in BS6?
- 50000
- Apache rtr 160 cc singl dis white colour in price Delhi
- Visit nearest dealership
- Its 3 piece sport handle , though it is racing bike and have all racing style in it
- In old model Apache it will not get uplift but in RTR 4v it will get uplift
- No due to it's split handle
- It's perfect for 6 ft and above
- Yes it is
- Yes
- Use rust coating and it looks as new
- See if you want to remove rust then have iron card scracth it and colour it .. it will be as new look
- Yes 3m coating is there for protecting rust
- Hero HF dawn is very light weight it’s not comfort in breaker and only one sitting position. While apache RTR is heavy and you can change sitting position by sitting strate same time you Lin like racer. It’s very less maintanace bike. Of course it’s price is high but when ever you ride RTR 160 you enjoy the ride and forget all these issue back pain and all that because I am also feeling so and almost every day I am riding 100km in RTR160.
- Hi , I used Apache RTR 180cc for 8 long years , yes it is racing bike , good engine..... but Milage is only 38-40 , maintenance also expensive, you will get back pain, shoulder pain for long drive, I got Backpain as Gift from Apache, now iam planning to buy new bike I test drive Unicorn 150 , XBlade, Apache RTR 4V, Pulsar 150 but my Choice is wil be Unicorn 150 in my opinion you choose bike considering your age, height, Milage, Maintanence
- I have using this bike from it's launche.i found better mileage than others 160 150 cc bikes.. I think New Apache 160 4v have better mono suspension than others.....which may be able comfortable for your back pain than your other choices bikes.... Avenger. Unicorn. And others....so according your daily use and also having waist pain.. I'll suggest you go for this...
- Yes the TVS Apache RTR 160 has 4 variants and 2 of them have a single channel ABS. Better to Google them before buying.
- Yes rtr 160 have 4 variants rtr 160 STD, RTR160 ABS, RTR 160 4V carburetor with abs, RTR 160 4V FUEL INJECTION ABS
- Which byke is best RTR 160 4V or RTR 160 2V for daily use
- Yes it's second model has dual disc brake
- Yes it is available
- Ya ofcourse
- The mileage will be in city if you use clutch and breaks very less then you will get 45 to 50 kmpl and on highways you will get more than 50 kmpl, this is as per my experience with the bike
- No 40 ki milege de de vhe bhut badi bat hai
- 65kmpl is not possible but 50-52kmpl can be achieved by minimum use of clutch and by maintaining speed 40-45km
- Actually if you think why they said U'll get the answer. New model 160 4v is upgraded version of 160 Rtr and it is little costly also. But new model is also good according to power and performance with racing clutch assembly . Most of showrooms stopped selling old versions. Take a ride.
- You cannot get it on special demand. You can get it if a dealer has it on stock. Last ki jo bachi hain purani wali.
- Old model is available with some dealers
- 156cm n above anyone can easily ride this beast.
- Ya perfect
- Yes tvs has upgrade old model to new model but look not better then old model
- Apache RTR 160 4v is the best for value for money but if you want fairing then you can go for fazer and fz for cosmetic looks
- Apache 160 4v will be a all rounder package. GO for it.
- 4V engine best for mileage
- Engine around won't change... Otherwise you won't service it properly.... You should change engine oil at regular intervals....
- No it will not change at all engine sound will change only if there is a fault inside like timing chain issue and so on
- Sound does not change in shorter kms. Sound is depend on tuning. so check your carburettor.
- I am from jamshedpur jharkhand can i get apache 160 rtr old model from showroom
- Same as well as old model white bike I need it so if available plz let me know
- Yes you should contact the dealer
- Just visit your nearest TVS dealer, instead of searching here. Why i say this is because, you would get a detailed information about the discounts available.❤
- You need to contact your nearest TVS Dealerships to avail discounts and offers for a new purchase and it varies from city to city.
- Cheak in your near dealer showroom
- This is most important part of your bike. Tvs prefers its own true4 oil but that will loose it's viscosity till 2500 kms. Now tvs has new full senthetic oil in Rs.500 which is good or you can use oil of 20w50.
- Go for Castrol fully synthetic oils they are best it reduces the vibration and you will feel the difference immediately after replacing your engine oil with Castrol fully synthetic oil
- Best engine oil for this bike go to the nearest showroom for servicing your bike they provides the tvs oil which is good enough.
- The older generation, that is the TVS Apache RTR 160 delivers better fuel efficiency than the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. The reason being the number of valves in the newer one. The more the valves the more fuel is burnt, delivering better compression ratio and hence increasing the power output (better performance).
- Apache RTR 160 comes equipped with 2 valve engine that is the fuel inlet is done by 2 valves which generates lesser power and torque figures. On the other hand RTR 4v comes with 4 valve engine that produces highest power and torque in 150-160 cc segment and hence mileage gets bit lowered in the 4v version
- I have buy 160 4v dual disc on cash 149,650 but not gave me special edition and sales man make bill of 139,650 after it i say him you make bill of 139,650 i have gave you cash 149650 he say it not includes insurance fees also mention the special edition and its price on insurance but i have not get special edition from showroom what the real price of 160 4v dual disc price in uttrakhand showroom
- If you want to experience signature Apache wild and beast engine, go for Apache 160 (engine vibrations gives a raw feel to rider). If you want a more refined engine like that of Yamaha and Honda, go for 160 4v. There is not any significant difference in mileage.
- The 4v variant is better than the older version because it has all the new aesthetics of the 200 4v including the console which is superb and looks awesome than any other available 160cc displacement vehicle in our country.
- Both bikes are best at their own places but vibration issue is still there in RTR 160 whereas 4V is smoother to ride. So 4V is the pick
- New edition
- White
- White
- Don't know
- 10% off
- Yes
- It all depends on which type of a motorcycle you like. If you travel long distances, over rough roads and still want a fuel economic vehicle go for the Honda CB Unicorn 150. It is a tall bike with a refined engine, a comfortable sitting position and has a mind boggling fuel economy. It can carry you comfortably over long distances with absolute royalty. Where as, the TVS Apache RTR 160 is a muscular bike. It is light, fast and also economical but not as much as the Unicorn. The Apache is styled well, has an insane performance for the size of its engine and is an absolute delight to ride. But the sitting position is aggressive and over long distances may cause your neck and spine to hurt a bit. So choose wise.
- If you are looking decent style, mileage and refined engines go with unicorn. Other two bikes has aggressive looks and comes with latest techs and designs. My friends has got both Apache and pulsar they told me durability of the parts is not up to the level, in case of Honda it has better durability and engine side very smooth and refined but other two brands doesn't. If you are looking Honda bike I would suggest CB unicorn, CB Hornet and X blade. If you are looking for a latest design and technology try hornet or X Blade.
- If you want a daily commute bike, choose Unicorn (refined honda engine with average performance and styling and good mileage). If you want to experience biking, go for Apache (mileage is lower than unicorn) but very high on performance aspect.
- Its 47 to 50 for me and i am riding almost 70 to 100 everyday.
- Hi I am planning to go for 160 2v with Abs , your opinion boss
- 45 to 50 in city and 50 above on highways
- Recently they launched with ABS
- Contact stores
- Contact stores
- Yeah! Now newly launched in BS6 variant.❤
- S 2014
- Yes
- I would suggest you not to buy in down-payment..buy it in net cash u will b in profit.. nothing to hurry!Take ur time ..Bdw u can pay atleast 25k to get ur bike with t&c
- Don't know
- Yes
- Mileage at 40to50 it show approximately 45to50,,,,,,,,then when you cross 60 the milage is deceased
- I am using last five years and avg mileage 45KM/Litre if maintain the speed 45 to 55 KM and maintenance is around 1k to 1.5 K with in 3 years/2.5K KM above that 2k to 3.5k/2.5k KM
- Very costly
- Worst product 😓😓😓 handlebar very hard and vibration my money wasted
- I don't know more
- Tiptok
- According to me pulser 150 is best bike as compared to tvs apache RTR 160 pulser gives best milage around 50 kmpl low maintenance cost stylish look for daily commuter. coming to Apache RTR 160 sporty bike best for long rider as well as daily commuting RTR gives milage around 45 kmpl , better braking system and its comes with single channel ABS pulser still did not get ABS in 150 segment but it will expect in April. Finally choose bike which is best suit to you according yo your hight and wieght and my final suggestions is test drive bike before you purchase it.
- TVS and Bajaj fans have always been like the two sides of a coin none accepting the other. The Bajaj Pulsar 150 is built for the people who want a great bike for daily commute. It has the essence of a sporty looking and feeling bike and does the job easily, carrying you around town or on the highway. While the TVS Apache RTR 160 is more sturdy, fast, agile, aggressive, but maintaining practicality. Both the bikes are good but on my vote, I would the RTR.
- If you are a family man, and if you prefer good comfort, go for pulsar 150. Incase, if you can compromise in comfort and if you want to experience the thrill and raw power, go for Apache RTR160.
- If you ride it very carefully, i.e, not accelerating hard, not speeding or riding in lower gears at high speeds then you can get from 50kmpl to 60kmpl.If you're riding the bike hard i.e speeding, changing gears very often and revving the bike very much then maximum upto 45kmpl.THIS IS MY PERSONAL OBSERVATION FROM MT OWNERSHIP OF RTR 160 FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS.
- It depends on various conditions like roads, traffic, whether you are driving in city or highway 😉 my apache gives 35kmpl on avg.on full throttle and if you drive it in the economy range then it would be till 41..and if you talk about highway then max.till 47kmpl...(personal experience).
- 40-45 km/ltr, it depends on road conditions, driving ability, conditions of the bike. So it is not possible to say real milage.
- Very Easy maintenance. It depends on the owners usage as well. Service once in 6 months, average service cost 300+. Spares will always wear out based on the usage.
- Yes. Quite easy to maintain. Regular service cost (after approximately every 3000 km) is around 700.
- If you don't change any parts just rechange mobile than up to 500 to 600 hundred.
- Both r good.Drive hornet n ull feel nice bt once you ride Apache 160 than u will be uncomfortable with hornet. In every terms Apache beating hornet. Take test drive nd know the difference.
- Both are equally better in their own special ways. The best way to choose one among this is, go and test drive both the bikes snd choose what you love the most. Have a happy snd safe ride buddy🤝❤
- Both bikes are good the riding position on both are a bit differenthornet has a touring type riding positionApache has a more sporty seating positionboth has fully digital display Apache's display has a bit more spec than the hornetit is best to decide your ride after a test ride on both bikes
- Yes
- Not that much but at higher rpm ys it does
- Not at all you can simply ignore them
- Go for R15, if you can't afford that this is best in 160cc category.Power, pick up n mileage you love it. Funny part is this bike don't like to stop 😂so you have to learn breaking system. Rest is all good.
- This is a simple bike and no costly parts involved in it.. i almost rode more than 1.2 Lakh Km in 6years. have done re-bore of engine and it cost me 8K. I never spent much on my bike except chain sproket 2 times and disc break 2times in 1 Lakh Km which cost me thousand each.. value for money with power and style.
- All is good about this bike.bad thing is not about bike but when you are going for servicing go to the best service center. It's mileage is 45km/L overall
- Mileage is based on u how u ride and maintain the bike, if u maintain the bike properly with time to time services and ride under economic speed every bike will give good mileage, based on the cc of the bike. As per my knowledge I prefer hf deluxe only bcz the service cost is less, maintenance charges r low, and I get a mileage around 69kms at present iwon this bike past 2yrs, still no compromise.
- Today Honda cbr250 is the best in under two lakh. In under best for now pulsar is the best handling, mileage , spare part available every second shop of market .
- Depending what kind of mileage bike you want. People want good mileage in a sport bike but that doesn't work. If you need mileage you got to compromise with power.
