- KTM 200 Duke is powered by a BS6-compliant 199cc motor, which now makes 25PS at 10,000rpm and 19.3Nm (down by 0.2Nm) at 8000rpm. The motor continues to use a six-speed transmission on the other KTM RC 200powered by a 199.5cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that churns out 25PS and 19.2Nm. KTM fans will be happy to hear that despite meeting the stringent BS6 emission norms, the new RC 200 maintenance the same power output as its predecessor. It continues to feature a 6-speed gearbox. The KTM RC 200 has a top speed of around 140km/h whereas for 200 Duke there is no official update from the brand's end. Furthermore, the RC 200 has the advantage of sporty aerodynamics and may reach a higher top-speed.

This is is bike and good performance compare to other bike.But one thing in ktm duke 200 engine is very hot other bike compare.

Really worth the price . The ride quality and its performance is just awesome. The mileage is good in respect to a 200cc motorcycle. I really loved it. It has a high seat which causes trouble for short riders like me, I am 5.5 ft tall and mostly struggles while taking you turns and at traffic signal stops otherwise every thing is fine. Further I could lower the seat height by adjusting suspension setup but the service center told me not to do it as the KTM company has set it by keeping balanced setup any changes in it can make it worse and reasult in a accident. I kept it as it is though I am struggling but as time passes I will get accustomed with it and learn the tricks and techniques to control the bike smoothly. I will recommend any below 5.5ft height should avoid choosing KTM bikes. Though below 5.5 ft height guys can drive the bike but its very difficult to cope up. I got a mileage of 40 kmpl on my daily commuits.The bike itself is a Beast. I love what ever i have got from ktm at the price point neglecting the height factor. Performance is superb, styling is superb, mileage is okay I have got 32 kmpl on duke 200 in city. My city is not so crowded but on highways when I was constantly driving above 130 km/hr average was between 22-28 kmpl. Duke 200 gets heated in number to bumper traffic that’s a con of this bike. Moreover comfort is also okay not a comfortable seat on this bike to ride for long hours. I drove about 950 kms in a day and my backbone was fine no problems but seat is a bit stiff. The cushion is stiff but that’s not a major issues seat can be replaced too. Ktm duke 200 still thrills me every time I accelerate and I love this bike it’s my first bike. It’s best for single passenger. The bike is so responsive that if you give sudden acceleration then it can scare the pillion rider.If a rider wants to enjoy riding alone go for this bike. It has the best power to weight ratio.
The best performance bike of all time so far in the 200 Cc segment. This bike is meant to perform and will keep you hooked due to its power delivery when you need it. Seating is aggressive but not as much as the RC version. You can zip through traffic with ease. If you are a first time rider then this can b**w your mind with its power delivery. Be responsible while in traffic and rev it only on empty roads with proper biking gear to enjoy its power without harming your self or putting public at risk. You can expect 25-28kmpl mileage. This can be a commuter and for trips 100-200 kms range without causing back pain. Go for this of you want a daily commute with power when you need it.
Excellent value for money motorcycle. This bike is an all rounder for any occasion , be it track days or touring or daily commutes ; this bike carries all the tasks with ease and tonnes of excitement when you twist your wrist. Maintenance is decent, it can feel expensive but the time intervals are at least 10000 Kms or Yearly wise. Cost can go up incase you crash the bike but parts are not too expensive or too cheap , they are always available at the SVCs. A wonderful package still and will not disappoint you if you're considering to get one.
Duke 200 bs6 pickup is not the same as it was in the bs6 version, The most important thing that you'll regret after buying duke 200 is it's ground clearance.The ground clearance is just 155 mm, It will hit in every speed breaker especially when you have a pillion rider with you.After spending a total sum of 2 lakhs, It doesn't satisfy me, Ns has a better ground clearance, I am very disappointed with ktm.If i have to talk about exhaust there is actually no sound at all, In the next version i hope that you'll improve the ground clearance.
