Honda XBlade BS4 has been discontinued and is not available for sale in the market. Moreover, you may go for a big sized tyre but upsizing the size of a tyre is increasingly becoming an obsession with people to create an added visual appeal to their bike. Moreover, It is advisable to go for an upgrade anywhere between the 3% margin for better performance and handling, increased grip and creating a visual appeal. Do take note that upsizing the wheels and tyres may decrease the fuel efficiency of the bike and may result in a speedometer error on the bike if upsizing is not correct.

Q. I ride TVS Apache RTR 160 dual disk. Can I replace 90/90/17 front tyre to 100/80/17? Will it impact on controlling, mileage and engine power?

You may have a bigger tyre installed in the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V. However, you might notice a slight drop in performance and mileage. Q. What is service cost of xblade?

Why u need to maintain ur bike per month ? I am using motul 7100 10w40 engine oil & i changed it around 4000km,so no need to change engine oil per month. Coming to the 2nd thing Bike service- u don't need to servicing ur bike every month,n thr is a service indicator also in X blade. Just whenever u r going to wash ur bike maintain the chain kit like chain cleaning n chain lube. That's all. So maintenance cost is very low per month.

Don't do unnecessary servicing....your service cost must be minimized...after completing free service I have spent my money in changing engine oil and air filter only...service Center don't do anything for solving gear shifting problem ....from the very beginning they said it will be solved after 10000 km... Worst solution...after 15000 km the problem is still persist.

Q. Why there is settings symbol displayed in speedo meter - XBlade?

Answer

Setting symbol on speedometer means a servicing symbol.If your bike cross more km than the service specified km then that symbol start blinking.Also, if your oil level goes down or any gear have issue including clutch then also this symbol start blinking.If you have serviced your bike and still the symol blink then dont get panic.Just ask your mechanic to fix the blinking.He then attach a computer to your bike and fix blinking for specified km range.

Q. You guys says service period is 6000 km for Honda Xblade. Can we use the engine oil for 6000 km without replacing.

Ofcourse not.Engine oil should be changed within 2000 to 2500km (within 3months) if you run bike above 80kmph.Below 80kmph average speed, it should be changed between 2000 to 3000km.And if bike stays idle for weeks then the oil can be replaced within 4-5months (distance does not matter for idle conditions).If you dont change oil till 6000km then your engine pistons may lose the strength and bike start knocking.This can be a major issue in future too as it affect the whole gear mechanism.So, dont be so lazy to change oil at good intervals.And yes, servicing is a different thing.It is not only changing the oil and washing the bike.Servicing means the complete care including washing,oil change,lube change,tightening the drive chain,adjusting brakes and levers,mentaining electronics and much more.(Please dont show this mail to dealer service centre.They get angry on me..Haha)

Honda recommends 10/30, which is thin, less viscous, This is meant for increased efficiency only which is good only for short city riding. for better option go for Motul 7100 10/40 fully synthetic which will do around 3 to 3.5k kms.Do not go for 50 grades, your bike will struggle and vibration will incerease. stay with 40, which is good.

Simple funda....is ..if anyone ride within 40-60 km/h speed..then change the engine oil after 3000 km running...and if anyone rides above 80 km/h speed then change the oil after 2500 km....if he or she loves the bike..g

Many Times This Problem Happens To My Xblade Also The Speedometer Will Blank Only White Backlight Turns On, This Is Not A Speedometer Issue The Battery Of Bike Is Low And If Unplug Cables From Battery Then Plug It Again It Will Turn Your Speedometer On, Or Charge Or Replace Your Battery It Will Work 100%, There Is Not A Issue With Speedometer If Battery Volt Is Low The Speedometer Turn Blank..

No its a 100% speedometer problm. many xbadle bike owner facing this problem. and I am facing this prblm last 3 years. its a failed model..if you change the speedometer. next year same problem will start . better live with this or change overall head to other bike sppedometer.

Q. I am planning to go for Honda XBlade. Can you please share your experience with the bike especially about mileage performance and maintenance cost.

Better to buy Honda shine in place of X-Blade bike in view of comfort,convenience and satisfaction. Go for Bajaj bike in stead Honda bike. Never expect that with a bike more than its capacity. It may not be a car or a plane. This is my conclusion after long experience of a series of bikes so far.

Honda xblade is not a good bike, why bzc it's having power controller problem and fuses will always going to fail, mainly it's having problems in digital meter (i.e digital meter will going to dead/year and never available to buy, non going to repair it). So my suggestion is not go for HONDA XBLADE

Actually, X Blade do not need ABS.The reason is size of disc used in front fork.ABS is provided just because of Govt. regulations else X Blade is a perfect without ABS.I used non ABS and ABS versions of X blade.It seems not much difference until I open engine above 100kmph.After 100kmph, ABS is always good.

Q. In gear shifting from 3 to 4 is there any problem - XBlade?

I am office going person for 5 days in a week. I am 58. So, I use it only 10 kms per day.When I am free from all work & have some leisure & my pocket allows me to go anywhere, I intend to go on long trip. I don't share or lend my vehicle to any other person. I often use third gear or 4th gear on the roads of city on account of safety measures. Otherwise, it runs too fast to carry me to a distant place. But I avoid to do such whimsical act. That is all.

Yes...i face problem in my X Blade bike 4th to 5th gear shift..but most of the bike models its a common issue..so don't worry about it...just take it easy..and enjoy the ride

Not a problem, sometimes when we 1st to 2nd gear suddenly changing, it makes one sound, but that is not a problrm on ride,that sound only irritated
