Recently Asked User Questions
- Ather offers its electric scooter in two trims: 450X and 450 Plus. The 450 Plus, while new, arrives in the same tune as the old 450. Peak power is restricted to 5.4kW, while the claimed true range is 70km. It does 0-40kmph in 3.9 seconds. Torque is bumped up to 22Nm on the Plus. The 450X is for the more performance-oriented buyer. You get extra power, more torque and the Warp riding mode, which spools up the electric motor enough to scare you silly. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride for a better understanding of comfort and compatibility. You may click on the link and select your desired city for dealership details.
- Sir how to fill the date of birth
- These are entirely different types of bikes - Cruiser and Semi ADV. Secondly Versys is more expensive and it isn’t available for Rs 6.5 Lac (assuming you are not buying a used one). I paid Rs 7.08 Lac for Vulcan itself (Bengaluru). Both are big bikes. Versys is a little more gigantic/bulky than Vulcan making it difficult to be a daily commuter. Vulcan May be slightly better on this aspect, but it has a pathetic 130 mm ground clearance which makes it somewhat difficult to ride over speed bumps and potholes in Cities. But Versys is a better All-rounder compared to Vulcan since it has some off-roading capability. If you are ok with the might/bulk of Versys and its higher Price, Versys May be a better choice.( I wanted Cruiser, so I chose Vulcan ).However, if your rides are a good combination of daily commute and touring, Z650 and Ninja650 are better options compared to Versys and Vulcan.
- Yes.. You can either install an Aftermarket exhaust or get ‘fork raisers’ installed.. Since I live in Bengaluru where cops seem to be very strict about aftermarket exhausts ( and also due to these exhausts being very expensive ), I got ‘fork raisers’ installed which raise the frame by a couple of inches thereby increasing the ground clearance by about an inch..Note that these fork raisers are not some standard accessories you can buy.. These were fabricated and installed at a workshop owned by a member of one of the riding clubs, so you need to check if such fabrication and installation can be done by someone in your city..
- Hi,I would suggest you to decide priority and need first .Every segmented bike have different purpose .Versys meant to be for off touring purpose including some off road capabilities.Vulcun is good for city ride and for daily commuting but sometimes it will create problem as ground clearance is not so good.Ninja 650 is a good sports tourer with comfortably adjusted upright clip on handlebar also you can enjoy weekend rides in city as well as on highway.Decide what you want take test ride of all the bikes and choose accordingly
- Kawasaki's engines and technology are more refined and advanced than Harley's. I picked a Vulcan instead of Street.

450XAther 450X: An Urban Commuter's Dream
I have been riding my Ather 450X for several months now and it has largely been a joyride. This electric scooter is an upgrade over the 450S with a more powerful motor and better battery life and it shows. The 450X features a 6 kW motor and can goes up to 80 km/h, which feels surprisingly quick in urban environments. With a range of 85 km in Eco mode, it comfortably covers my daily commute with some juice left to spare. The Ather 450X stands out with its warp mode the acceleration is fun and can outpace most vehicles at traffic lights.

Vulcan SVery comfortable, reliable
Very comfortable, Reliable and plenty of power to cruise at highway speeds.I've put 5000miles on mine in the first year just chain maintenance and oil changes and the bike will run forever. It has lots of low end torque so off the line this bike moves but if you cruising at 70 mph mostly any other parallel twin naked bike will leave you in the dust. But that fine with me this bake checks all the boxes and it looks good as well for the price.

Vulcan S4.2Reliable cruiser
Most reliable cruiser.Solid, High quality frame and parts as expected from kawasaki.Having a forward placed parallel twin engine, There is minimum heat felt around the thighs giving it more advantage over the popular v twin engine cruisers. Also parallel twin reduces the vibration of the vehicle, Elongating the life of all the parts.Engine mapping could have been improved as it is still sporty like the other models of kawasaki fitting with the same 650cc engine. The bike always seems to be in an accelerated mode and never seems to settle down at cruising speeds between 100 to 125 kmps.Having listed the pros here are few cons too: poor ground clearance due to bulky catalytic converter and long wheel base.Uninteresting exhaust note.Expensive spare parts. In my opinion: the most practical and reliable cruiser that is available in india at the moment if it is within the buyer's budget.

Vulcan S4.2Exhaust sound
After a 2000 km ride and much more experience with Vulcan S bike. I am surprised by its performance. It is quick and fast for a cruiser. It is a sportbike with a cruiser body. Because it is an expensive bike. I just wish it has more features like riding modes etc. Builds quality is awesome. I can't feel the vibration at all. It's heavy, but again because of the low seat height. You cannot feel the weight. The con side of the bike is that I hate the exhaust sound, and there are very limited accessories in India. The maintenance is high.
