Ampere has announced a price cut of Rs 10,000 for the Magnus EX, Magnus LT and the Reo Li Plus. The Magnus EX is a family-focused electric scooter that has a stylish design and comes in vibrant colours.
Ampere Magnus EX Price : The Ampere Magnus EX is available at a price tag of Rs 94,900 in India. in 5 colours: Graphite Black, Glacial White, Metallic Red, Ocean Blue and Galactic Grey.
Features of Ampere Magnus EX : In terms of features, the Ampere Magnus EX gets a halogen headlight, tail light and indicators, but has LED DRLs (daytime running lights). Even though the bezel is large, the instrument cluster LCD display is pretty regular sized, it displays estimated range, speed, odometer, battery level and a clock. The electric scooter comes with practical features including an apron-mounted storage space with an integrated USB port, decently sized underseat storage with a boot light and a side-stand sensor. It also has a 150kg load-carrying capacity. Additionally, the electric scooter comes with a "Limp Home" feature that allows you to ride for about 10km when the battery drains to 10 percent.
Ampere Magnus EX Motor : The Magnus EX is equipped with a hub-mounted motor which is powered by a removable 2.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The electric scooter is claimed to accelerate from 0 to 40kmph in under 10 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 53kmph. The electric scooter comes with two riding modes: Eco and City. It has a claimed range of over 100km and takes 6-7 hours to charge from 0 to 100 percent.
Ampere Magnus EX Suspension, Brakes & Other Details : The scooter uses a telescopic fork and twin rear shock absorbers. Braking is handled by 130mm drum brakes at both ends. It rides on 10-inch steel wheels, wrapped with tubeless tyres. The Magnus EX has a ground clearance of 147mm.

Since switching to electric, my Ampere Magnus EX has served me well for the last three months. The best feature is definitely the range of up to 121 km on a single charge (under ideal conditions), which is more than enough for my daily use.The Magnus EX offers a smooth ride thanks to its 1200 watt motor and has decent pick up for city riding. I also appreciate the added features like keyless entry and the anti theft alarm, which give it a modern edge over other scooters.

It is the most silent electric scooter and the seating position is highly comfortable of this scooter and the brakes is good but could be more better. The suspension is on the comfortable side and the ground clearance of this scooter is very good and the power delivery of this electric scooter is good but the fit and finish is not good. I am very happy with this scooter and the driving range is around 80 km if you drive decently and the company claimed range is 100 km.
