Ampere Rio Li Plus, Ampere Magnus EX And Ampere Magnus LT Price Cuts Announced

The prices have gone down by as much as Rs 10,000

Ampere EV has announced reduction in prices for some of the models in its lineup: Ampere Rio Li Plus, Ampere Magnus EX and Ampere Magnus LT. Here are the revised prices:

(all prices ex-showroom including EMPS 2024, which stands for Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024, except for the Rio Li Plus which is a low speed electric scooter)

The Ampere Rio Li Plus gets a 1.3kWh capacity battery with a claimed range of about 70km and a top speed of 25kmph. The Ampere Magnus EX gets a claimed range of more than 100km while the Magnus LT gets a claimed range of about 80km. Top speed of the Magnus EX is about 50kmph and that of the Magnus LT is about 45kmph. Both scooters get two ride modes: City and Sport along with a reverse mode.

Recently, Ampere EV launched its flagship electric scooter, Ampere Nexus in two variants: Nexus ST and Nexus EX. The scooter gets a claimed range of 136km and a charging time of 3.30 hours. The motor is swingarm-mounted and the top speed of the scooter is 93kmph. It gets 3 display modes: Night Mode, Limp Home and Day Mode screen and 5 riding modes.
