Renault KWID Latest Updates
Renault has launched the 2022 Kwid at prices starting from Rs 4.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). In this update, the base RXE, RXT 0.8L, and RXL AMT variants has been given the axe. Also, the RXL and RXT have now become cheaper by Rs 8,000 and Rs 9,000 than before. There’s a new RXL (O) added to the lineup just above the RXL. The remaining variants of the Kwid have become pricier in the range between Rs 9,000 to Rs 13,000, depending on the variant chosen.
Other changes to the Kwid include a new set of 14-inch dual-tone flex wheels, two new dual-tone shades (Metal Mustard and Ice cool White), two new monotone shades (Moonlight Silver and Zanskar Blue) and white accents replacing the orange accents for the top-spec Climber trim. Seat belt pretensioners and load limiter are now a standard fitment for the Kwid

Renault kwid features quite
Renault kwid features quite ample specifications for the city drive and will not let you down.The mcpherson strut and twist beam suspension on the front and rear wheels respectively form a greatly configured setting for bumpy cities and high roads.However, The car lacks grunt when you get on the highway or expressway.Also, The engine starts making noise and you will feel the annoying vibration if you force the car beyond a certain speed.

- 1.0 RXL AMT variant of Renault KWID doesn't feature a Rear Camera.
- All the three cars are good in their forte. The Kwid is a great first car, looks great and sports some nice features but the driving experience isn't the best. Whereas, Hyundai Santro has a smooth engine, easy-to-drive, well-equipped top-end variant, interior quality from a class-above. On the other hand, the Wagon R continues to be a sensible practical hatchback. It’s now stronger, more feature-loaded, more powerful and safer. Importantly, the prices have not gone up substantially. For a better understanding of compatibility and driving comfort, we would suggest you to take a test drive. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership.
- Renault offers the Kwid with the same two petrol engines as before: a 0.8-litre (54PS/72Nm) and a 1-litre (68PS/91Nm). While the former is mated to only a 5-speed manual, the latter gets both a 5-speed MT and a 5-speed AMT. Moreover, there is no CNG variant available in Kwid.

On the other hand, Kwid is offered with a choice of two petrol engines - a 54PS 0.8-litre unit and a 68PS 1.0-litre option. While the smaller unit is only available with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the bigger engine can also be had with a 5-speed AMT. If your budget allows, we would suggest you to opt for the Tata Tiago for its attractive design, powerful engine, safety tech and its great build quality.
