The 2023 Tata Harrier boasts a substantial design update, which is inspired from the Curvv concept, highlighting its stylish and contemporary look. It sports a redesigned closed-off grille with silver accents and a continuous LED DRL strip spanning the entire front width. Beneath the grille, there's a triangular enclosure housing new LED headlights and fog lights, contributing to its overall assertive appearance.

The profile of the car features minimal changes apart from the newly designed alloy wheels and the addition of the 'Harrier' badging on the front doors.

Shifting to the rear, you'll observe a new set of connected LED taillights and an updated bumper.

When it comes to colour options, you can choose from seven shades: Sunlit Yellow, Coral Red, Pebble Grey, Lunar White, Oberon Black, Seaweed Green, and Ash Grey.

Stepping inside the updated Harrier reveals a redesigned dashboard marked by cleaner lines and design elements. The standout feature is the upgraded floating infotainment system, now sporting a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen borrowed from the Nexon EV. Below this, you'll find the sleek AC vents and intuitive touch-sensitive controls for the new dual-zone climate control system.

Additional design enhancements include a new 4-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, and for the automatic variant, a gear lever inspired by Land Rover's drive selector. The drive mode selector has also been updated with a display in between.

The 2023 Harrier introduces several new features, such as a fully digital 10.25-inch driver's display, an expanded 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an extra knee airbag (for a total of 7), a powered tailgate with gesture-control opening, rear sunshades, and a powered co-driver's seat.

It retains features like ventilated front seats, connected car technology, a panoramic sunroof, keyless entry with push-button start, electronic stability control, and advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).

The 2023 Tata Harrier retains its 170PS 2-litre diesel engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The automatic version now includes paddle shifters for added control. As for the claimed fuel efficiency, the manual variant is said to get 16.8kmpl, while the automatic variant achieves approximately 14.6kmpl.

With these significant updates, the new Harrier is expected to command a higher price than the outgoing model, which starts at Rs 15.2 lakh (ex-showroom). It will continue to compete with rivals such as the MG Hector, Mahindra XUV700 5-seater, and Jeep Compass. Furthermore, it will also contend with compact SUVs like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
