Suzuki GSX-S1000 Bike Latest Updates
Suzuki has taken the wraps off the 2021 GSX-S1000. The bike has been priced at GBP 10,999 in the UK (approximately Rs 11.43 lakh). Expect Suzuki to launch the bike in India by October this year at an asking price of Rs 12 lakh.
The front fascia has been through a significant overhaul, now featuring a vertically stacked LED headlight flanked by LED turn indicators. Moreover, it also gets new tank shrouds and MotoGP bike-inspired winglets. The side panels have been finished in urban camouflage.
The BS6-compliant 999cc liquid-cooled four-cylinder motor now makes 152PS and 106Nm of torque. It’s mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter.
It is sprung on a fully adjustable USD front fork and a (preload and rebound-adjustable) monoshock, both from KYB. Its stopping power comes from twin 310mm front discs with Brembo Monobloc callipers and a single rear disc. The bike rolls on 17-inch alloys shod with Dunlop Roadsport 2 tyres.
