Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying RC 390

Q. What about the vibrations? Are they negligible? or do they creep in all the time - RC 390?
  • No it does vibrate. Mainly the entire body is made out of fibre to reduce weight power ratio in the engine. The battery panel which is clearly an risky place to keep in front of the petrol tank, will surely get vibrations with use. You will definitely see is intensity increase with time. Mirrors also become squeaky. So vibrations from engine will be felt at high speeds of over 80kmh. So don't expect a smooth peaceful ride on this bike : By Bhavani | 9 months ago
  • With the new RC model with the silencer. The vibrations are substantially reduced compared to the old model. The engine is surely not vibration free but not something a person would worry about. But still I would suggest a test ride. : By Pranav | 8 months ago
  • If you're riding more then 100 km par hour defenetly vibration is coming legs and ears if you're ride proper 60 to 80 no vibration in bikes : By Nasim | 6 months ago
Q. Is that rc 390 is a reliable bike?
  • Absolutely! I just got done with 2200KM ride recently on RC 390, I got no problem at all. It has great controling system. I guess the braking power is awsome amd it really justifies the power and money spent on it. : By Farhan | 11 months ago
  • Its not a reliable bike . If want any fun or some spotier experience then this bike is for you. : By Roopesh | 10 months ago
  • Maximum heatin.service cost maximum controlling system : By Noor | 9 months ago
Q. How is it for touring - RC 390?
  • Not good at all for touring... I have had a lot of issues regarding the coolent and the radiator fan... Engine Overheating and head gasket issues.... This issues don't appear on short city rides.... But eventually arise when you take it for long tours. Also the bike is not at all comfortable and where to keep the luggage? Prefer Duke 390/250 for touring if KTM is your choice of brand. : By Pranav | 8 months ago

Q. Which one is faster RC 390 or R3?
  • You need to understand R3 is twin cylinder and RC390 is Single cylinder although power output is 2 bhp higher of RC390 but smoothness of twin cylinder and diamond chasis of R3 cant be matched by KTM.If you good rider and just need half a mile sprint than both will give you similar speed but on longer stretches twin cylinder smoothness and Yamaha R3 ease to ride go long way : By Kapil | 10 months ago
  • RC 390 is the fastest in quick sprint. But R3 will beat it as it has high top speed than RC390.And R3 engine is more refined than any KTM Engine : By Karthik | 10 months ago
  • Ru mad man r3 better thn the rc390 .ones ride it : By Lovely | 2 months ago
