Must Read Questions & Answers Before Buying Avenger Street 220
- My daily ride is of 50km I do servicing every 3 to 4 months average cost of maintenance on yearly basis is approx 4 to 5k : By Hardik | 2 months ago
- Very less... I spend hardly 2000 twice or thrice in a year for its wellbeing... : By Chiranth | 4 weeks ago
- Its around 1500 per service n for 6000km per service : By Arun | 2 months ago
- If u like comfortable ride and touring capability i will suggest avenger 220 cruiser..but rear brakes are not that good....but now a days they are fitted with single channel ABS which will enhance braking power and greater control of the bike.....or u can go for avenger 160 street or cruiser if ur cut off limit is Rs.1 lakh : By Prasenjit | 6 months ago
- Go for the new model of Bajaj avenger : By Gaurav | 2 months ago
- Bajaj Avenger series would be the best in the economical segment specially after addition of single channel ABS. : By Shreyash | 6 months ago
- Its rear drum brake system and its gear box do possess inherent design defects. : By Rajiv | 3 months ago
- No no its maintenance is very lesser then any bike in the segment : By Arun | 2 weeks ago
- Any vehicle maintenance must be met as per it's schedule. It's not very expensive but you can't compare it with hero bikes for sure. : By Ashrith | 1 year ago
- Use any normal quality engine oil with acceptable viscosity vs temperaturecharacteristics. Regarding using full synthetic oil I will only say, "BANDARKO CHANDAN LAGAANE SE WOH PANDIT NAHI HO JAATA HAI". Hope youunderstand what I mean to express. : By Rajiv | 4 months ago
- Use any normal engine oil. bajaj engine oils are now produced by gulf, so it is good as well. I personally prefer castrol. : By Sainik | 1 week ago
- Use normal one : By Suraj | 1 year ago
- If you like the riding posture and style of Avenger then you can go for Avenger Street 160 abs now. Or if you are looking for something sportier or naked type bikes, look other options like Gixer apache etc. : By Bh | 4 months ago
- Avenger 160 abs should nt have disc brake in rear wheel its a big required. Bajaj should think about it. In 160cc segment bike it is a class to have disc in rear wheel. It dosent have kick start too. : By Aadarsh | 4 months ago
- Pulsar 220f : By Sainik | 2 months ago
- Drum brakes are mainly suitable for very lighter tyres like the tyres of Pulsar, unicorn, etc. Avengers wheel base is much bigger and heavier. The brakes are not powerful enough to handle the stopping power on such tyres. Due to the weight difference, a lot of extra force is needed to hold the bike uphill which the drum brakes don't have that capacity. So the gearing control and front brakes are most preferred usage on climb. A disc brake upgradation is instead of drum brakes would easily solve this issue which God knows why Bajaj didn't opt for it earlier. The tubeless tyres are another reason for additional force requirement. But it's totally fine if you don't go uphill very often. : By Bhavani | 3 months ago
- The word "OTHERWISE" possess a "veto" power in itself. Had this "otherwise" not been there, this vehicle would have neverbeen termed as "killer" !! As a matter of fact, its braking system is very poorly designed and I do not understand, why the greatmanufacturer does not take care and float an improvement upon the same ??? If this improvement is been carried out along with ABS, this vehicle might had become the most stable bike in the lower seat height category with the safest for road grip. : By Rajiv | 3 months ago
